I recently sold and purchased a property and was lucky enough to have James Ray assigned to my file. James was calm, meticulous and thorough. Always available to talk and supportive of the added stress that my sale and purchase were the result of a divorce. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. Thank you James.

Shambles of a company. Not interested in anything you email.
I am trying to get a breakdown of payments for well over 2 years. Still nothing.
This type of company gives solicitors a bad name.

I have today received a claim from this firm regarding an accident which occurred in 2018… yes you reading this correctly, 2018.
The accident was an unfortunate collision and was 50/50. The other driver was my former Managing Director with whom I am still friend and in good terms. His own daughter is my wife’s best friend who recently got appointed as one of the Directors. They claimed to have received the exact letter from this company and denied making any claims against me.
I will escalate this further seeing that you take pleasure in causing unnecessary distress.

Me and my husband were first time buyers and was recommend Judge and Priestley via the Estate Agency. I was a little apprehensive at first as I have experience working with solicitors on a daily basis and often the feedback from customers is that they may be slow or not communicating enough however from the day we sent our initial instructions it took a total of 8 weeks to complete. James Ray has been absolutely amazing! From the beginning James gave us a detailed list what to expect, what he needed to do etc. Upon completing each stage he would inform us and let us know what was next. As a 1st time buyer we would come across things we wouldn't quite understand but James would always be at the other end of the line helping us. I honestly couldn't of been more happy with the service received and James is all to thank for that. Thank you!

All services done on time. Excellent response to my questions and they have serviced me with further demands without extra charge.

We had an immensely turbulent & stressful journey selling our flat & buying our house. It took 2.5 years, 2 buyers pulling out (one extremely last-minute & after school places were secured) then with the third and final buyer, we had a very tight deadline to meet (thanks to 'Buyer 2' and their last minute withdrawal). It was terribly stressful but Mike at J&P pulled out all the stops so thankfully we met the deadline successfully and are now moved and settled. We felt totally supported and listened to by Mike along the way, but also his amazing legal assistant Chris went above and beyond for us.

I have had dealings with Kavitha before; her professionalism, assurance and support throughout the process of the sale of my previous properties was the reason why I contacted her in Judge and Priestley to support me through the sale of my next house. It was a chain of 5 people and she was updating me and supporting me through the stressful process.
I would highly recommend this firm and would personally recommend Kavitha and her team who supported me every step of the way. Thank You!!

Excellent service. My wife and I had joint wills drafted by J&P. Our queries were handled in a reassuring way and everything was made clear to us before signing. Friendly and efficient.

Awful and unprofessional. Took well over a year to sort a lease extension.... Contact difficult and expensive. Avoid....

Their response to this post was to ask me to contact them to 'look into' it. What on earth for. It's dealt with, poorly, but dealt with. There's nothing they can do now.... Signs

Extremely dishonest organisation, they collect service charge debts on behalf of Camden Council and then do not pass it on and instead try to make more money by adding legals costs to the bill. I asked Georgina Mitchener verbally and in writing several weeks ago when payments would be passed onto Camden and she was not able to provide a concrete answer. I have concerns there is some kind of fraud going on, if they are not passing on the money. Will be escalating this ongoing known issue.

10 Jan 2024 - Got an email from TrustPilot apparently Judge & Priestly want more information from me to respond to my review. I have supplied the information.

Utterly unprofessional/impossible to get hold of and resolve problems they caused. I was given a bill to pay of GBP 2000 in 7 days, just 3 days ago in which they claimed I enterd an agrement to pay it off in installments in March - never heard from them since my last conversation/email in March in which they were waiting from the claimant to accept my terms. Been asking them to show me the corresponance in which I was informed of this decision as well as other correspondance but nothing, I have a suspicion they have never sent an email or letter to me at all!!! Stay away from them, whatever problems you may have they are likely to make it worse.

Judge & Priestley is a Fraud and a thief. They Fraudulently wrote to my local council and is also writing threatening letters to my mortgage company saying they are going to evict me from my property and they was able get a large sum of money (£5500) from my mortgage. Every time they just keep sending me threatening letters. I reported the fraud to the police but they still continue to do it. No one should use this firm!!! They are making my life a living hell, I am 73 years of age and I cannot take this harassment anymore. They are a fraud! Don’t be fooled by them!!!

Bunch of Turkeys , seems they trying to jump on the utility crisis bandwagon and make themselves some money.

Chasing me for money that I do not owe, but very unresponsive so you have no idea what's going on.

Call themselves solicitors , but glorified debt collectors if you ask me
