Judge & Priestly have been appointed by EDF to chase outstanding debts. Three times Judge & Priestly have sent letters to my address requesting details on the previous owner and three times I have responded to these letters with information on the previous owner but I have yet to receive an acknowledgement from them. They are now threatening further action if I don't respond to their most recent letter within the next seven days. This is borderline harassment at this stage.

My property journey was far from easy, but Michael remained deeply committed and communicated brilliantly throughout the entire process. At times, I felt completely dismayed and frustrated due to how poorly I was treated by another company, but Michael and James went out of their way to give me the reassurance and peace of mind I desperately needed when I wasn't sure what was going to happen.

They are truly solution-driven professionals. When obstacles arose with my property, they provided alternative options and directed me to the right people who could support me even better. I couldn't have asked for better representatives—I always felt like their top priority, and they never missed a single call or email.

For anyone currently on their house-hunting journey, do not hesitate to contact Judge & Priestley and ask specifically for Michael Cornwall and James Scorgie. They are genuinely heaven sent. I am in awe of the constant professionalism and deep care they displayed from start to finish. They have made my dream a reality, and my son and I now have a house we can truly call home. I could not have done this without the two of them.

James and Orla were both professional, friendly and extremely helpful in the sale of our late parents’ house. There was no stress or worry. They handled everything with care and thoughtfulness. They made an exceptionally good team. I would strongly recommend them to anyone selling a house.

contacting payment line still trying day 4 now hopeless service,further to your reply i have been unable to contact you on that number also now getting an automated call back which tells me you are still busy then hangs up on me...terrible

We are extremely disappointed in the service we were promised.

- Our buyers solicitor hadn't heard from them for months with outstanding questions about the property which we had duly answered and sent back when they were originally asked.
- Emails were ignored, even after chasing
- no one calls you back (5 calls to the office and the receptionist either transfers to a line that you leave messages on, or takes messages and no one returns the call)
- The case was ignored by the original solicitor and when we complained it was given to another staff member who was rude, curt, couldn't read or understand well worded emails.
- She needed all of the original questions that were previously answered to be sent again, when she could have just asked her colleague to pass the previous correspondence over.
- Had to do the AML checks twice, the second one was asked to be done on the day of completion, causing us to worry that our side were going to be financially penalised as is the case with delays after exchange.
- She sent accusations that were the complete opposite of what the email said. I have it in writing to back this up.
- The final statement upon completion had the wrong figures, this meant they were going to transfer the balance owing on the property short by £1,779
- There were no apologies or even just a short, 'gosh I'm so clumsy today' type comments in response when these issues were pointed out.
- The final straw was outright lying 3 times in an email to our estate agent about things which were actually previously sent to them, just messages of 'X does not exist' (when it clearly does seeing as I'd sent it acorss in a previous email), without investigating the truth or the background.
- I found out from a solicitor friend that this company pays third parties for referrals which I now understand to be the reason why our estate agent was so pushy on the recommendation to use them. The promises of how good they were and them doing X, Y or Z weren't kept up to.
- I resorted to using an email widget that can tell you when the emails are opened/read, how many times and what the IP address is to prove that it had been opened.

***Note to Judge & Priestley*** if you try to have this review removed on whatever grounds, please note that all of the above is well documented and can be proved to Google, and that people deserve to have a fair representation of your actual service.

If I had more energy to deal with this, I would have taken it to an ombudman.

Please do your research and think twice before using this company.

Disappointing :( :( very slow to respond .. not approachable at all. due to their inefficiencies the sale got delayed by at least a month :(

Used for selling a property. Always kept us informed of what was as going on. Contact was good if we had a query. Would recommend.

Theofania was very attentive and kept me posted on the progress. She was diligent and friendly all the way with the transaction and saw a successful completion.

We hired Theofania from Judge & Priestley for our home purchase, and she was fantastic throughout. She was kind, highly professional, and always responded to our emails and calls incredibly fast.

Whenever the other side was slow or hesitant to provide documents, Theofania proactively chased them up until everything was secured. She made us feel completely confident every step of the way. We highly recommend her and Judge & Priestley.

While the service provided was accurate and reasonably timely the fees were, I have found out subsequently, extortionate. Honestly guys >£1,700 to write and register a very simple basic will; and >£2,000 to apply for and file two Powers of Attorney, really is beyond the pale. I should have shopped around, but having had no response from two other solicitors and dealing with the trauma of a very recent, very ill relative whom these documents were for, I turned to a firm I knew. i won't be doing that in a hurry any time soon.

James and Orla were amazing with our recent flat purchase! They were professional, supportive, responsive and always made time for any questions we had. As first time buyers, navigating the purchase process can be quite daunting, but James made sure to sit down with us and go over the full report so we knew exactly where we stood and what the next steps would be. They were also very proactive in chasing up responses to enquiries from the seller's solicitor, which was integral to pushing the sale through within the time frame they originally estimated. Overall their service was professional and efficient, and we would highly recommend!

One of the worst solicitors to use; no reply to email after 5 emails and left 4 messages to both Emily and Rhys and zero call back. Waste of time and effort.

I was impressed by the very profesional and extremely friendly approach of Judge & Priestley dealing with the problematic sale of my house. Excellent solicitors. I would like to specially mention Kavitha Rajah, as extremely profesional, friendly and a lovely human being.

I was recommended to use Kavitha Rajah at J&P from the estate agents when I was selling a house. It was somewhat complicated as the owners/my parents were about to move abroad but Kavitha put me at my ease saying things could be done without them and started the process a year before the house actually sold. There were hurdles along the way and I very much kept in touch with J&P through what was a very stressful time. I never felt that I was a bother on Kavitha and team's time. I was brutally honest with things I wasn't happy with and matters were always resolved. I would say my experience with J&P was overall a good one, and they showed they cared personally rather than it just being another business transaction.

Caroline and the team have been amazing. They have been very supportive and helpful. I was never left in the dark in a very long, stressful purchase. I cannot thank them enough!

Knowledge of her specialty; speed of response and her rapport with the client. My position differs from most other landlords as I am a retired solicitor, 67 years still on the Roll. I contacted J & P after seeing an article online and I was referred to Caitlin Ward. I found her to be fully informed on landlord and tenant, calling back when promised, on the ball and aware not only of the relevant law but sensitive to the client's worries. Don't know their ass from their elbow, sending letters demanding £36 to an address 38 miles from where I live, an address I have never lived at, and then saying it's my fault, complete waste of space, should of let it go to court, muppets would of been a laughing stock...
