Just don't bother with this company. Underhand tactics to sting you for more money after years of jacking the prices up. They won't be around for much longer i would imagine.

Bought 8 pairs of trousers from Johnsons workwear in Vanderbijlpark. In the last 12 months, price range from R999 to R1200 and every single pair ripped between the groin area, keep in mind due to my work, I only use a pair for less than 30 hours MONTH. Took it back in every time to get replaced, but all I got back, after the fact, they sent it back to the supplier for inspection... I will only receive 20% off my next purchase.

NOW, I only buy from Wildebees. Better quality, better service.

Very disappointed in this company, fees creep up without consultation, cancelation from contracts are not easy and lengthy, once you are in contract even though they dont renew it you are still under their verry watertight contract. Really feel let down and ripped off.
To top if off I was offered a huge reduction in fees to stay with them but cancelled out of principal.

Terrible company to deal with.
Get ripped off monthly and then they sting you when you want to leave.

Absolutely horrendous company, due to rising costs and poor service we cancelled our contract in February 2022, giving the 180 days termination period they stipulated.

Despite having everything in writing and the subsequent acknoweldgement from numerous people, we went through the inevitable it can't be cancelled scenario and are still receiving invoices to this day.

We have now had to pass this matter to our legal team to resolve.

after been with johnsons workwear for about 30 years now was the time to cancel my account with them due to raising costs eles where, we as a company decide to cancel there products so i phoned them to cancel my subscriptions they weren't happy let me tell you for a big company they act like big babies avoid if possible..

I’ve just put in a telephone complaint as a driver from this company.sped up behind me after I left a junction with space, tailgated me and kept beeping his horn fHe continued to tailgate me after the lights and veered his truck right as if to aggressively overtake but there were cars passing in the other side ns it’s not a big road.
On leaving the road, I slowed down and put my right indicators on and he parked up right at the back of me as I waswaiting for a car to pass to turn. He was crawling to the right again as if to aggressively overtake on a small road, and soon as I started moving he kept beeping his horn for no reason
This man has a nasty aggressive attitude and could cause accidents with his dangerous driving. I’ve just come off an an and e night shift as well, I really hope this complaint is dealt with and this man found as he should not be allowed on the road.

We thought we were well out of contract but it turned out their very old contract from 2017 automatically renewed unless we gave them 180 days notice !
Trying to reason with JOHNSONS WORKWARE is impossible as the company is structured to just trap you into paying them for the worst service I have ever experienced.

These people promise the earth at the start of the contract but none of it is delivered. Six and a half years ago, we were promised that overalls would be replaced when worn. No overalls have ever been replaced. They actually clean overalls that are now threadbare and return them every month. Despite this, the cost goes up all the time. Also, you should be aware that, once the initial three year contract is up, they have you trapped in the old rolling contract scam with a mandatory six months notice period to cancel. Avoid!

The service you receive from this company is completely useless - I was nagged and nagged to come over to this company who sold me the world and since then I've had nothing but problems, constant price increases, lack of response from the business when questioning invoices - I would advoid!

Some months back I joined a small engineering company based in Cheshire. The role covers different aspects of engineering and thus safety wear was required, the boss uses a company called Johnsons Workwear to supply, tailor, repair and clean workwear and towels etc. A man came around to measure me up, he stood alongside me mumbled something then wrote something down and said to me, " that's it, all done, you'll get your overalls within two weeks" and I did. However I am about 171 cm tall and the overalls will fit someone up to about 182 cm tall. The leg length was measured and I asked for the leg length to be reduced to 62cm, or 25 inches, in fact I asked about five times, in the end I had to cut the bottoms off the legs as they pose a very real safety hazard and I slipped a couple of times before taking the scissor's to them. I am pleased to say that at last my overalls have been altered and to the correct measurements as supplied by myself, why on earth it took so much effort on my part I have no idea, maybe I have just been unlucky so rating increased to 3 stars as of 09/11/22.
