Good experience with Finneston branch to back up my data from a MacBook Air after a crash. After 5 days data cloned in its entirety and saved to a second hand SSD. Professional communication throughout, keeping me updated on price. £140.

I visited the store (15/10/25) on Battlefield road as I have an iphone 13 promax that is not working (not powering up after it was dropped). Whilst looking at the phone the assistant asked me if it still had it's original APPLE screen? (it did), he then told me that the phone would require diagnostics before further action could be remedied, and I would receive a phone call when the diagnostics were complete. I received a call the following day and was informed that the phone would require a factory repair-the cost of which I decided not to accept, and I would therefore come and pickup my phone. When collected my phone's screen was covered in greasy residue/sticky label adhesive which hadn't been cleaned off, and I could not clean it off whilst in the store (the assistant pulled it out of a drawer under the counter, handed it to me, then disappeared behind the large partition). It was not until I got home that I was able to clean the front of the phone. When cleaned I noticed several large scratches were now present on the screen, which were not there when the phone was left at the store (the phone was fitted with a screen protector from new and was only removed the day prior to visiting the store. The screen had one tiny noticeable mark that was only visible when the phone was held at an angle under a light). Was my genuine screen replaced with another that was scratched/not working? I wouldn't be able to check given that the phone can't be turned on, so I'm left wondering if it's a different screen? I emailed the head office with my concerns and am still awaiting a reply. Draw your own conclusions.

Phoned up 1 minute before closing time today to get my screen glued back on as it fell out the phone when I dropped it they told me tk come in stayed open till I got there and didn't even try to charge when he done it highly recommended

I have a 2012 MacBook Air and the battery was dead, if I unplugged the laptop it would immediately die. the laptop was also slow. I went to the apple shop and they explained the battery for my PC was no longer available. A replacement MacBook Air was circa 1,000 pounds.

I took my laptop to the Duke street branch in Glasgow where a new OEM type battery was installed and the laptop received a 'tune up' all for 100 pounds.

Excellent job. Cleaned the charging port and repaired bent pins so now back to working perfectly all for £15.

Samsung S22 business/personal use needed repair due to water ingress. Their response was either charging port OR battery replacement, APPROX costing 80.00?
Poor communication - said it was ready and would e-mail when "back in their shop" No email from them. I emailed in the morning of the day I collected after a phone call to their Duke St branch - told phone was ready but hurry up if your coming as closing early! checked phone - NOT WORKING as they had mis-placed the SIM. Absolute shambles way to run a business. Gave a discount - Still not impressed. NEVER AGAIN

They destroyed my hard disk,kept for a month saying they ll save the data, after a month I have to show up the the shop in larnaca because they don’t answer the phone.. my hard disk was there… got home try to check and nothing …took it back and they said there is nothing they could do it about…. Big scammers ,amateurs that are only giving of customers……,and now my data is lost all ky pics and documents and my hard drive destroyed….

I have used this place for the last couple of years. They've always gone out of their way to help. Today they replaced my screen in less than half an hour for a very reasonable price. I just walked in, they had a look and helped.

I found this place by doing a search when no phone charger would fit in the charging port today.

The guy in the store took a look in the port and removed a bit of broken charger. And a presto the phone charged again! I had looked and seen nothing amiss. I had also tried cleaning the port with a cocktail stick as advised by online tutorials.

He wouldn’t charge me for fixing it. I insisted on at least the cost of a drink as I was so grateful. So many things rely on the phone from two factor authentication to monitoring our cat’s diabetes. I was so relieved to have it charging again.

This guy is a star. If I ever need a repair shop this will be my first choice in the future.

Contacted website for a quote which I received. Was given address of local repair shop and contact details. I left my iphone in the morning at the Motherwell shop and received it back that afternoon, repaired. Excellent service and very good price. Staff were exceptionally pleasant. Recommend but hope not to need them again.

they tell you a price online for screen replacement and when you go to the shop its double price

iRepair Finneston took £130 CASH off me for a new battery for an Apple Air. The computer never worked properly despite returning to the shop THREE times. I finally gave up and took it to Game Repair on Clarkston Road. They opened the case to discover that the plastic casing had not been removed from any of the cells. Either these guys don't know what they are doing or they simply do not care. Seemingly overcharged for the battery as well. AVOID.
