I been for years and talking someone and they cut her off no warning. Then few years I go kick off to many times of me trying get back on with no reason. I complain to them and it automatic saying we looking into it. Took me months to get back after I figure what true password was. My profile was still there. Now they asked for a new profile on there site saying it is being in use of course they never sent a reset to password. I am sure I am fighting a computer. I am sure they 5 million users.

Veryy bad. Blocked instantly without chance to delete my account!

I try to practice learning languages but no one ever actually helps me, i just get bombarded by horny chinese women, creepy men and people who act rude when i don't reply in two seconds

Vor 10 Jahren war die Seite noch gut und es entstanden Brieffreunde und echte Freunde mit Treffen. Aber 2025 nur noch Fake und Scammer!! Warum prüft die Seite nicht, wer sich anmeldet mit richtigem Name, Foto. Verantwortung übernehmen Interpals!!

This site is full of scammers with Africans, Indians and Asians...

I wish I had known more about it before trying out myself. Do not sign up, it's the worst scamming trolls creation.

Site banned me after 4 days of use for 'suspicious activity'
Emailed multiple times asking what's up, no response.
Like so many others, spent hours recreating profile and reconnecting with people, lost all messages.
Lots of scams and fakes

Misogynist, paedophile pro-Putin website where the admins read all your messages and ban you for whatever reason they like.

the site owner(s) apparently have sided with Putin's Russia, because they ban Ukrainian accounts. I couldn't even register when I put my home city.

Other reviewers here were right. That site has been taken over by scammers. When I signed up I immediately got 6 responses from supposedly young pretty Asian woman that were all scammers. One even admitted it when I called them out. Sure those were not even their photos. People said on Reddit it used to be a decent penpal site many years ago. Not anymore stay away.

The site is filled with romance scammers and generally rude people. They never take action.
Then they suddenly ban you without telling you why, when you email to inquire which rules were broken they never even reply. Because none were actually broken and they don't admit to making a mistake. I see a lot of complaints here that they don't ban female accounts, but I am one and I was banned without even knowing why. None of the men who sexually harassed me was, though.

The accounts aren't properly deleted either, and you can't sign up with a new one even years later, even with a new email adress.

Just horrible I tried to make a new account again and after less than 2 hours only, they banned me really like a face discrimination with is illegal, of course no reply except a stupid bot answer ! And of course all fakes scams perverts islamists pedophiles snd all other crooks and 💩 are still online without any problem! I even made an account to prevent all normal users snd suggest them to Leave this fu… site quickly to keep safe

Please be aware. The problem with writing reviews is that we often don't check the review until we have had a bad experience. It's too late then. Something strange is going on with this site. I went to the delete profile page to delete my account. I discovered that accounts are never actually deleted. It is moreso, deactivate. You just log back in and all your information is still still there just waiting for you. Your pics, your messages, essentially all activity is as I f you never left. There should be someway to take legal action, but who knows what is in their terms of agreement. The other strange thing I notice is once I logged backed on I started getting messages from seemingly friendly females (I'm female) asking if I would want to be penpals. They were from Ukraine and Russia. One asked me what I think about the war. The other talked about how things are in Ukraine. I don't think they are real people. Various sources on the Internet stated the owner of the website is from the USA with ties to Russia. In my humble opinion my profile is being used to gauge what the average American thinks about the war. It may sound like a conspiracy, but this all was too coincidental for me. I'm going to see what I can do legally to get my account permanently removed.

This site took a complete nosedive. I was a very frequent user of interpals 6-7 years ago and back then the site was awesome and I found a lot of cool people that eventually became friends. I‘m still in touch with a lot of them today. After all these years I decided to visit Interpals again and it’s definitely not the same anymore. The site is infested with scammers and fake profiles and apparently Interpals doen’t really care anymore. It’s really hard to find genuine people on there anymore. This site used to be the perfect way of connecting with people from around the world. Nowadays I honestly would stay far far away from it. It’s a shame, but I guess that what happens when website owners do not care about their website anymore.

The app is trash, but I met Kamila here and we're doing a motorcycle trip together. 5 stars.

English: No-one responds, which means either no-one is serious about corresponding, and/or the number of fake profiles is staggering... Don't get me started on the Chinese bots that keep harassing me with spam - the ONLY communication I've received, to-date.

Low quality service, full of scammers. Do not go there, do not fall for it. You will not find pen pals, language exchange, tourist guides. All you will find is scammers. There are no administrators and moderators to verify users, or if there are moderators and administrators, they are most incapable to sift away scammers and maintain their platform usable for meaningful purpose.

Immediately I joined, I didn't like the way that the website was looking, and it looked like something that a bunch of scammers would use. So I decided to leave, but when I tries to leave, it told me the stupidest thing ever. It told me that I had to be a member for a least 7 days (AKA a week) before I could leave. Zero stars if I could

È un applicazione che ti permette di conoscere persone in tutto il mondo ma purtroppo la maggior parte dei profili sono falsi. Contattata da un coreano che aveva visionato il mio profilo abbiamo cominciato a scambiarci messaggi ma facendo la ricerca attraverso Google ricerca foto ho scoperto che sia il nome e altre informazioni erano false. Quindi ho eliminato il profilo, non ne vale la pena.
