Don’t be fooled by this travel company. It’s all about recruiting, which is why those at the top are making money. Top down scheme. Suppliers not competitive, even one of the newest suppliers does not offer cheaper options that they can offer when you can book direct online. It’sa def pryamid scheme, just dressed up as a MLM. Too many agents asking selling the same thing and pushing the recruitment side. You will make money by booking travel. It’s only a small percentage who will.The industry do not like Intele, too many people looking for agent rates which is becoming embrassing. Due your due diligence before signing up.

All the 5 star reviews are by PlanNet Marketing reps - they get paid every time they recruit someone so of course they are going to put rave reviews.

From my experience:
-travel commissions never paid on time.
-travel commissions never as much as advertised. This was the same for my “team”.
-hidden fees like the hyperwallet fee, card charge fee, withdrawal fee.
-awful customer service on the travel side. Customers had issues and no one would help me. When I asked for help in the official agents group my post was removed.
-cult like mentality and cult like calls.
-huge focus on recruiting new members. Very little focus on travel.
-travel was actually more expensive when booking for clients.
I could go on…

My personal opinion is that people are using Inteletravel as a front for the recruitment MLM scheme PlanNet Marketing.
Even if you just join to book travel you have to sing up via a PlanNet rep, who then gets paid, so you always fall into a downline.
When you get involved you soon realise that they aren’t booking travel. There is a heavy incentive to recruit others into the scheme and create your own pyramid. 7 way of earning are through recruiting.
If the money being earned is purely from recruitment then this is nothing more than a pyramid scheme in disguise.

My biggest regret is that I didn’t do this sooner. I heard about this initially 4 years ago.. but I didn’t join as I’d just started my career as a physio in the NHS.
Then this year, I came across the opportunity again on Instagram through my mentor and director Ellen.
Even then, I was skeptical and felt like I was too busy with work.
Whilst travelling I got talking more, hopped on a call and the rest is history!
I’ve never been surrounded by so many likeminded people who want nothing but for you to do better.
I am so gutted I didn’t do it 4 years ago. I go away 4-5x a year genuinely if I can afford it and now I’m travelling South East Asia building my business..
The training is amazing, I speak to my mentor everyday and she’s genuinely become like family, as well as the wider team who are there to provide advise should I need it too!
I can’t believe this whole time I’ve been paying commission to people like TUI when I do nothing but holiday search most weeks. I’d been doing the job of a Travel Agent and allowing someone else to reap my hard work!
Best decision I’ve ever made!!!

I just returned from an incredible trip to the Maldives planned by an Inteletravel agent. The service she provided was flawless from start to finish. Thank you so much Jade for organising it for me!
I received a welcome pack, great communication, a complimentary upgrade at the resort and she followed up to check whether I was having a great time on day 1 of my trip too.

I’ve been an ITA (independent travel agent) with inteletravel for 4 years now, joined in 2020.

I can understand why there are bad reviews which really is such a shame, I joined under a woman who is now a 6 figure earner but unfortunately she did not take the time to help guide and train new comers into the business.

Fortunately, I have a very strong motivation in MAKING IT WORK. So without any help, I have managed to make a full time income as a Travel Agent, building a reputation for myself and a growing client base. It took a couple years to really get off the ground, however what business doesn’t!

This year 2024, I decided to join a different UK ‘upline’ if you would like to call it that. The team has incredible training, resources, 24/7 support and this has hugely impacted for the better. I was doing this alone for 4 years, now under new ‘management’, my travel business has exceeded all my expectations! I have only recently joined the REP side of the company. I’ve taken 4 years to understand, educate and build a client base as a Travel Agent. This is not a quick fix money business. If I had joined under my current UK rep, I believe I would have joined the rep side a lot sooner. However having the bad experience to start simply pushed me into excelling in the business as much as I could alone! Which I strongly do believe I have done so now!

So grateful I stuck with the business, we have Agent trips booked up all year round. The group zoom calls, the supplier webinars, in person meets with suppliers, the education around the whole industry is just top tier.

Bad reviews will always appear in any business, however when you have a really amazing, well organised team of likeminded people both financially and mentally, these are the real reviews you should be reading.

I’ve created a work from home business, around my children and my husband that I really do LOVE and actually does bring in an income of my own. Any start up business needs hard work and motivation. I feel for those who joined the business and didn’t have the support to thrive!

ZENIndependentTravel - My advice is to do your homework & not listen to disgruntled ex-Inteletravel agents! That is the only way you will hear the truth about the company. I am a full time midwife and it would be more than my professional registration is worth to become involved in a “scam” or illegal “pyramid scheme”! I’d happily talk honestly & openly about the pros & cons and it does seem to matter whose team you join - so do your homework there too!
I love both businesses, researching & booking travel building a personalised relationship with clients that become friends - it’s the midwife in me! I care!
I also love coaching & mentoring people to be the best version of themselves - again, it’s the senior midwife in me, nurturing the next generation!
Have I made any money - well to date, I’ve put in £550 & my balance is sitting at just short of £1k but with over £50k of sales, it will grow - you can do the sums! I also had to put my business on hold for 6 months due to spinal surgery so in reality this has been over about 3-4 months! However its not just the money you earn, I am able to travel more myself & cheaply too (but that’s a private convo if you want one!) You see, IT are extremely scrupulous & their reputation is everything - one of the reasons suppliers are clambering over themselves to sign up for agents to use & one of the reasons I am proud to call myself an IT agent! Are we more expensive? Well we aren’t a price comparison website but we have access to all the suppliers other companies have so I’m not sure why we would be except we won’t begin to match non-ABTA protected companies & there are a lot of them out there! Clients have come to us having been bitten by these unscrupulous companies - again just google them but I advise to look after your hard earned money! No-one wants to get to the airport & realise nothings been booked for them! Plus these companies don’t give the personal touch of a real human being on the end of a phone or message and as personal agents, we do go the extra mile (not giving anything away - you have to book through me to find out!! 😂)
As far as commissions being paid are concerned - I don’t get it as I’ve never had a problem - you have to register your bookings, which once you get used to the system, it’s easy enough. Communication has always been super quick & informative & there is always someone on the phone! I’ve never had any issues being paid & the fact it comes x 3 every month is a bonus!
But my biggest take home, apart from being a member of the best team ever who are not only super supportive but also fast becoming a network of like-minded friends - ones I never thought I’d find at the age of 51! Take home - sorry - yes, is the one about pyramid schemes, I find it so interesting that society has ingrained in us that we need to be employees that work for managers, that work for Directors, that work for partners, that ultimately work for the CEO - does this not resemble a pyramid to you? So bring on network marketing as a business model & Donald Bradley’s philosophy of giving “ordinary” people the opportunity to live “extraordinary” lives with PlanNet Rep, and you see, I can out-earn my upline (manager) - that’s not a pyramid scheme - that’s equity! Yes, you get what you put into it, it’s your business to run how you want to, the more you put in, the more you get out! Is it hard?! Well ask any self-employed business owner if it’s hard! Nothing in life is free but I can tell you now, it’s tons easier & more lucrative than being in my NHS role!
All I ask is educate yourself, be wise to those companies that want you to join them but don’t offer this building model cause they are the ones who want you to help them get rich, not this one!

I have been with InteleTravel just over two months and I cannot speak highly enough of the support I have received the community spirit and the earning opportunities it has opened
Make sure you have a good team around you there is a lot to learn but all the resources are there ..

I started my online travel business over a year ago and I’m absolutely loving it! It’s allowed me to travel more with my family (with the money I’m making) and has given me access to some great rates. I can’t believe the bad reviews on here as it is totally optional to become a REP and to be honest I wish I’d of started that side of the business sooner. I love changing people’s lives and helping them earn an extra income for their family.

You get out of this business what you put in so if you work hard you 100% see results. It has changed my life.

The training you get with this business model is amazing. Our team is so supportive and we have continuous training which is updated.

I am a teacher by trade but this is honestly the best thing I’ve ever done. I’ve met some amazing people along the way and learned so much about myself.

At first i was drawn in. But having been with Inteletravel and Plannet Marketing for some time I've realised it's a pyramid scheme disguised inside Inteletravel to make it 'legal'. The only way you will make the money they say you can is through repping, making others believe in this nonsense and selling to anyone and everyone. Only those at the top earn big. They advertise their own holidays and trips saying it's because of the business they can afford it, but that's a lie. Most have rich partners, who are paying or topping up their money or other incomes. The 'deals' aren't deals. They've been told what to say by directors, forced to reach out to hundreds of people, say how good it is etc. Agents were asked to leave positive reviews here to make it look better. The events are very cult like, everyone listening to the 'leaders' but they are only lining their own pockets. I was drawn in and i'm embarrassed that i was. I have seen messages about making it look less that they are all about recruitment and not making it look like a pyramid scheme. I wish i'd never joined as i've spent a lot on the monthly fees, and my commissions were not always paid in full and on time. My upline wasn't helpful at all. I've made some great connections, but we are all starting to realise it should be illegal, and people are drawn in to the cult like behaviour. They say they make residual income but none say how much time and money they spend for events, social media, endless meeting after meeting repeating the same 'vision' which is only about recruiting.
My advice is stay away from this. Don't waste your money or valuable time, and don't be fooled it's about travel. It's only about recruiting people. I'm so glad i left and wish i'd done my research first before joining. It's not even worthy of 1 star.

Joining this business was the best decision I ever made. Not only do I now earn and save booking travel, I have made some amazing friends.

The support in the team I am part of is incredible. There is no competition and everyone helps each other.

The InteleTravel live chat is amazing should you need tech support. The partner webinars are so informative and the numerous pay days are just wow!

People who have had bad experiences probably weren’t surrounded by the right people, which is a shame. Or perhaps they wanted to ‘get rich quick’ which is unrealistic.

If you’re thinking of joining this company, go in with an open mind and don’t let others put you off….they don’t pay your bills!

This is a pyramid scheme! I joined 5 years ago to make a business from this and struggled to ever beat or match any quotes for a holiday and found they are £££’s more in comparison to your big companies like TUI, love holidays etc, I could not bring myself to rip people off. I left and rejoined this year as I felt I needed to give it another shot and even if booked my own travel as an agent rate it would save me £££’s. I was wrong. If you like your holidays anywhere within Europe then think again as this is based on long haul destinations only. The cost of this is a one off payment of £150 and then £30 per month, or £45 per month if you want to ‘recruit’ people. there is a reason it is this cheap and normally costs thousands to be a travel agent don’t be fooled!! Training for this job is reading an online guide, so much can go wrong, no support chats except for facebook and even on this alot of people don’t know how to help as they need it! once you are recruited you will NOT hear from your upline. When you question to leave it is a battle and they beg you to stay. Your main potential earnings from this scheme is by ‘recruiting’ people through instagram or facebook, if your an agent you get no help but if your a rep you will be part of weekly meetings/ coffee mornings learning how to recruit more people.I would personally never feel comfortable to book a holiday with someone who has signed up through inteletravel as so much can wrong with so little help! Please don’t be fooled by these ‘Influencers’ having luxury holidays all the time and building extensions, they are only able to afford this from you subscribing!! they will tell you once you join that they too dont even book travel for others just themselves!

They offer you a job, then lying and stealing your money during the training 😡 STAY AWAY!!!

Horrendous, scamming, rude, incompetent company. They do not train people correctly, they do not offer support, they lie, they try to get you to make money off your family and friend, there are no good deals at all! They bully you, they have systems that fail, and they demand payments that you do now owe.

If you are thinking about starting a travel business then I absolutely recommend Inteletravel. I joined two years ago and I wish I knew about it sooner. The training and support are fantastic and the dedication the company has to making your home based agency a success is incredible. I highly recommend.

I joined this business 7 months ago and absolutely love it. There is nothing better than helping book and plan family holidays. Not only am I starting to earn an income, I’m saving on my own travel (and taking more holidays) and have now started my own team. Would definitely recommend.

Let's get down to it - it's network marketing at its best. Was I sceptical - absolutely - but my only disappointment is that I didn't join earlier. Yes, it takes work, but no business that makes you good money easy. But with so much training and support, we work with some of the best-known names in the travel industry - and are highly regulated by the likes of ABTA. If you're looking for an opportunity to build a business in travel (alongside your day job) then totally do it.

I joined the business 2 years ago and I absolutely love it. I have full support and access to amazing training. I have saved so much and earned so much in the 2 years I have been an independent travel agent. If you’re thinking about becoming an ITA, DO IT!

I previously worked in corporate travel booking for government departments, sports companies and Customs and Excise. I decided to branch out on my own and the support and systems we have access to is incredible and a year down the line I am so pleased I put my trust in them.

Really glad I took the plunge and went for it. I’ve always loved travel and this allows me to travel more and make an additional income which is very much needed right now! Very supportive business, loads of training and great commission rates. 5* from me!
