I became an Inteletravel agent after receiving a message online from an 'influencer'.. I done all the initial training, which looked great. When I got my log in the prices weren't competitive as I thought.
Commission was advertised as 10% for the majority of the holidays, but by the time they take 'their bit' from that you aren't left with much.
I booked a holiday for a family member in August 2022, 6 months after I still hadn't received the commission (it wasn't a huge amount but I wasn't going to let it go) as I feel they probably do this to a lot of people. I had sent numerous emails which were not being responded to and eventually I got an email from the manager stating the hotel I booked no longer work with them??? But they did at the time of booking and the holiday already went ahead 6 months prior so the fact they no longer done business with them should not have been an issue.
We are now February 2024, 18 months since the holiday went ahead and I am yet to this day to receive the commission.
I'm now not an agent with them as I would rather not work with a company that only wants to earn money (we all do but there is a way to do it) so I doubt I will ever receive the money owed.
I have received an email from the manager to say the issue has been resolved and they now hold the commission from the hotel and that it has been sent to me but this is not true and I haven't yet seen it.
Now they are being ever so helpful and not responding to my emails!! I have washed my hands of the money owed to me and them!
Huge lesson learnt for me about these types of organisations.

This opportunity not only gave me the extra money I needed throughout my maternity leave it’s given me options and bigger goals for me, my baby and my future. People will say it doesn’t work but they forget it’s their business it will only work if they do. No what we have access to isn’t always the cheapest on the market because we’re competitive if we were the cheapest there would be no other company out there. You become an independent travel agent to provide your clients a service however you CHOOSE TO because it’s your business. Whether that’s free parking, a room upgrade or wine at the room. If you want to earn from booking travel you have to give people a reason to book through you a service!. You will get people come to you with cheaper quotes from companies that don’t hold their ABTA and ATOL and quite frankly it’s not your job to price match holidays people have already found. It’s your job to find them a holidays to fit their needs and budget without them having to lift a finger or find time to look. People with quotes already aren’t your clients. You will find a loyal client base in time! This isn’t a job it’s a business opportunity so don’t expect to start your own business then be treated like an employee! If you don’t make money you need to reflect and review your business and make changes to change that. People have and can replace their incomes by doing this it’s about finding the clients that NEED you. If you’re looking for quick money this isn’t for you. If you’re looking to join and clients fall at your feet it’s not for you. If you want to earn more money to have a better more comfortable life and work hard to get there … go for it!

Made us pay for a holiday they hadn’t even got available and still have our money!
Customer service is disgusting, no one cares they have over £6,000 of our money, without providing a holiday and won’t refund straight away!
Avoid using this agency!!!

I have nothing but praise for the company. They offer you the opportunity to run your own business with the support of a massive industry leader! All the told and support are there to make a success of running YOUR business. I just wish I had found them sooner!

Great business for anyone who loves travel. I love the team of people all supporting each other, they’ve all got so much advice and inspiration.

The business has been great value for money as I’ve earned back far more than I have spent on my own personal travels, had upgraded hotel rooms and great complimentary gifts staying in resorts as a travel agent.

It’s also amazing being able to find great competitive rates on travels for my family and friends - it means they get the best deal with the added value of the service I’m able to provide and I get paid the commission that would usually go to a website!

The business offers an opportunity for everyone, there’s no targets so it can be a small side hustle / to just save on your own travels or turn it into a full business.

I’ve been a travel agent wjth Inteletravel for 9 months and I absolutely love it. I have worked in travel all my life and after having my children I wanted something for myself again. This business has allowed me to create an income from home from booking my own travel and also for others. Fantastic support and community

I have been had my travel business for just over a year and I have travelled loads and booked amazing holidays for others too.
I love this business and the support I’ve received. I find it sad when people come on with bad reviews. There will always be a bag egg in a company and it’s a shame when people aren’t supported.
It’s worth nothing we won’t always provide a “cheaper service” but we do provide a good service and we are covered by ABTA unlike the companies that are often the cheapest on the market and you can’t even speak to them when something goes wrong.
All the people saying it’s a pyramid scheme are talking nonsense. Pyramid Schemes are illegal. If we were a pyramid scheme we wouldn’t have ABTA. We wouldn’t have any businesses working with and we’d all be pursued by the police too.

I’ve been with inteletravel now since 2021. The support you get is amazing. It’s not just travel it’s full business support. I’ve booked over £300,000 worth of travel and I only joined to dip my toe into the water! Don’t listen to the negative reviews or if you do, make sure you get a balanced view. There are a lot of lazy reviews on here where people assumed they’d make money in the click of a finger and we all know that you get what you put in. No regrets, actually just one! Wish I’d joined sooner.

There is so much I love about this business and it’s hard seeing negative reviews so of course I want to reset the balance. I can only give my honest and personal feedback. I’ve been part of this for over 4 years and the system, suppliers and processes have improved 10 fold since I stared. The progression is ongoing, constant and it’s impressive.

Some people join this business because they think they can ‘just travel more for less’ and yes, it’s incredible how much money you can save but it’s so much more than that.

The training, the support, the knowledge, the options and the potential of what you can do with it and where it can take you are endless.

I would assume most people leaving negative reviews haven’t been in the same team as me or had the benefit of support that I’ve had or given.

I feel bad for all the people who haven’t had a good experience and don’t know whether that’s team dependent or maybe they haven’t followed processes laid out or all the handy tips that are set out for us or it may be that they just didn’t try very hard and expected everything handed to them on a plate. Who knows, but all I can say is that based on my experience, my team, the training and help I’ve received it’s been nothing but positive.

The fact that it’s so flexible and I can use it however I choose and I can do as little or as much as I want make it work perfectly for me. I do this around my children with total time flexibility and I earn pretty well from it so no grumbles from me.

I’m a fairly sensible and well educated person and I can promise you I wouldn’t waste my time, my money or my energy on something for this long that I didn’t believe in whole heartedly or if it didn’t give me anything back but it does completely - many times over and above what it costs me to be a part of it - and I love it.

If you want to believe the negativity - do. That’s your choice but make sure it’s a well informed choice of your own that you’ve made once you’ve seen and understood all the facts. Most of us doing well and enjoying this business and everything it gives us are too busy doing exactly that to come on and write reviews about it. Most of us are too busy reaping the rewards.

To correct a few things
- It’s entirely normal in the industry to be paid commission after travel takes place. That’s standard. It ensures the travel was genuine and that commission is paid as it’s owed rather than being booked one day and paid straight away. That would lead to fraudulent bookings and multiple cancellations. Some companies allow this - but I know that when cancellations happen they also have to pay back the money. This happened with another company during COVID. Glad that didn’t affect us.
- Do some research if you think this is a pyramid scheme. We are a very reputable and thriving company with lots of industry awards and accolades, ABTA and ATOL and multiple big industry names who we are partnered with. Last time I looked it also wasn’t illegal to buy and sell travel - unless your high st travel agent is a pyramid scheme too? Or the company you work in with a boss, and their boss and the boss at the top getting the biggest bonus - is that a pyramid scheme?
- It’s not the people above you that get rich. It’s the people below you, next to you, above you and even you if you want it and work for it. It’s the people that work hard that get rewarded.
- There’s so much support available to you If you want it as well as tools and resources but all without pressure.

And one last thing - 100,000 people can’t be wrong.

I joined purely to save on my holiday and family holidays. We’ve had some incredible savings and I love the fact I get to share this opportunity with others. I took my time I researched, I learnt a lot loved the training - you can do this in your own time . I can honestly say it’s one of the best ways to travel.

I was lucky I did research first .... this is a pyramid scheme and commission isn't payed till the holiday is took if ya lucky enough to get a booking . Please don't be fooled by these people only the ones above u get rich and in the UK it is illegal for pyramid schemes.

Your upline is nice to you until you tell them you’ve realised you’re not making money just loosing it. Then they turn nasty, don’t want to know or help you. You’re not allowed to put any negative experiences you’ve had in any chats so can’t get advice. These ‘up line’ (influences) are just taking your money there getting more rich whilst your loosing out as you don’t save money and you find it hard to price match online so you don’t end up earning either.

Saving money and earning commissions on my travels that I would have booked anyway. Sounds too good to be true until you actually receive the commission and then you realise it IS very good and very true!
What an incredible life hack!

Joined the business over a year ago now and the savings I made not only for myself but for booking for others have been INSANE! The whole company as a whole, my team are fantastic and you’ll definitely make long life friends you get along the way.. I do this business whilst working and having a family and it just works so well for me! Don’t know what took me so long to say YES.

I joined the business in May 2023 and I am so pleased I did! I’ve booked travel for myself and for a growing list of clients and it’s been brilliant to fit around my day job and have some additional income.

InteleTravel give you everything you need to make your travel business a success and it’s up to you to put the time in and take advantage of what’s on offer. I have received my commissions in the time frame promised and the one I didn’t I escalated and was resolved within the week (it was actually due to a mistake I made!)

Like any business, it takes time to learn systems, build a client list and there are no quick wins. It takes time and I’m so happy at the pace I’ve grown my side hustle as I juggle it alongside another job. Yes there is another business which works alongside but there is no pressure to join if you don’t want to. Lots of people are happy making an income from doing something they already do - booking travel!

This business works. But if you expect to be making money overnight then please be real because all business - travel or not - does require some time and effort! The bad reviews (which are unfortunately deterring people who are seriously considering this business) are being posted by those who don't understand what an effort based business is!

I think people are confused as there are two companies working exclusively with each other. The network marketing company refers new travel agents to the host agency and it's the only way to join Inteletravel as an independent travel agent. It's a network marketing business which uses personal affiliate links. So you can make travel commissions or earn via the affiliate route, or both.

My experience has been amazing from the start, I'm over two years in and I'm making money from both booking travel and helping a fab team of agents! I've stayed in places I'd never have been able to before becoming an agent, I've saved over £10k on my personal travel and I've taken an industry FAM (familiarisation) trip which just blows my mind!

With the right support and some willingness to learn and grow, this business really can change your life. But lifechanging stuff doesn't happen overnight! My advice for anyone on the fence would be to look at the way the bad reviews are written, talk to someone who knows the business inside out and then make your own mind up. @adeleinsidertravel

I joined Inteletravel in February 2023 as soon as it launched in Ireland. I was a bit skeptical at first but decided to try as I was covered by the 30 day money back.

I quickly realised that this could actually give me a really good side income that I could do around my full time job in finance! I initially said I wouldn't have the time but when I stopped making excuses and decided to really give it a go, I can honestly say it's one of the best investments I've made in myself and my future! I have been working this in the evenings, on my work commute and any other time that suits me. I have built myself an extra income and it has given me a lot of relief! One piece of advice I will give anyone considering this - only take advice from people who have actually worked this business and had success. There's a lot of people who join and leave before ever completing the training and claim it doesn't work. This is a business and you have to work in order to get paid. Working online is the future, take a chance and it could help you the same way it has helped me :)

I have been with the company for nine months and it’s been fantastic for me. I have been able to work from home around my family, building my own business, I use it alongside my work as a VA. The training and support is very extensive. I have always felt supported and have made some lovely friends in the process. InteleTravel’s partners offer price parity and will try to match or beat comparable quotes, which is very helpful. My confidence has soared and I love my home business.
