The man who came and valued the loft was very friendly and helpful. The man who came and completed the work was also friendly and efficient. Communication was always good and a lot of information was given

We have just had our loft re-insulated and boarded by Instaloft who also installed an access ladder and light. From survey to completion of work, the communication and service was exceptional and we are delighted with end result. I would certainly recommend.

Loft hatch replacement was replaced quickly and satisfactorily.
Installers answered all questions and demonstrated its use. Thank you.

Great company, great communication throughout. Brandon & Sam did a fabulous job boarding my loft and extending my loft hatch and fitting a folding wooden ladder with handrail! Excellent work, arrived 8am and worked through to the afternoon until finished! Would highly recommend. I am over the moon with the amount of safe space this has created in my loft not to mention the safe fitted ladder! It will be a game changer accessing my loft from now on. From the moment we contacted Instaloft we had excellent service all round.
Charlotte came to do our loft installation quote.She was pleasant and very approachable whilst being knowledgeable and well informed about the Instaloft products. Her valuable knowledge and experience about what we needed and what would work in the loft was invaluable.
The two young men who came to carry out the installation were polite and respectful also keen to get on with the job. They completed the job to high standard and were immaculate in their tidying up.

From start to finish I can’t really complain the salesmen that came Alistair was very pleasant & went through everything with us to the fitting day Cody & not sure of the others names were lovely lads got on with it & kept everything clean & tidy there was a problem with the electrician coming the same day as I was at work all the following week so Ollie came out on the Saturday morning his day off to put my light in another pleasant bloke who also fixed my bathroom light as the vibration from the boarding had knocked a wire out.
All in all I would definitely recommend this company for your loft boarding we absolutely love it thanks guys

Really pleased with the work completed by Instaloft and Instaspark.

Mike and Liam carried out the main loft installation, removing the old material before installing new insulation, full boarding, a new loft hatch and ladder. They worked hard throughout, kept everything tidy and the finished loft has completely changed how usable the space is.

The lighting was completed separately by Ollie through Instaspark, who came back to install the new lighting and did another great job.

Everyone we dealt with was friendly, professional and easy to have in the house. The whole job has given us a much cleaner, properly insulated and genuinely useful loft space.

Would happily recommend both Instaloft and Instaspark.

Wanted to leave feedback for Paul, Steve and Lee who came out to board my loft yesterday. Professional, courteous and knew exactly what they were doing and took time to explain it all. Great experience!

I explained time and time again that my loft is split in two halves (one side accessible through my property and the other side through the neighbour's) and both sides need new insulation. I got the quote through and agreed to the price.
The tradesman came and did one half. Said he knew nothing of the other half. He was only going to do what was on his bit of paper.
I kept calling asking for the other side to be done and they kept promising that the appropriate person would be in touch.

The only people in touch were the accounts team chasing me for payment. I explained the same thing to them each time: the job's not finished, but they didn't care.

Then I get letters from a debt collection agency.

I wish I took the matter to an Ombudsman or small claims.
I called it quits. I don't want them doing the rest of the job.
I paid the collection agency and went with a local company to do the rest.

Pleasant workers got on with job and cleaned up after themselves,work done timely and efficiently, electrician turned up 5 mins after fitters had gone and got on with his part of job in same manner.really pleased with result.would recommend.

Great customer service exceeded only by the excellent installation carried out by Michael. The initial installation included a metal ladder at the existing hatch location but I reported that it was too steep for me to carry anything up it and was therefore no use to me. However Michael recommended that we could change the location and have a timber ladder installed. That was a great recommendation and he came back and installed it. It cost a bit more but was really well worth it. Customer service handled the situation very efficiently too. Very satisfied with the end result!

Avoid - Breach of Contract & Overcharge by £1000+

It was discussed and agreed during the survey/quotation stage with the salesman a loft boarding package that included smoke alarm and lighting as part of the job. Charged £3820.80, then £3600 - The lighting was removed/omitted from the final paperwork/work on the day of completion despite being orally agreed and part of the sales discussion, in addition to follow up phone calls to confirm lighting and smoke alarm - agreeing on one hand and delivering less on the other - (this constitutes a breach in contract and what was agreed verbally vs what was delivered, and an unfair overcharge under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 & DMCCA Act 2008 & 2024); (service not as agreed, price not transparent). When it was compared and checked what I was charged to their advertised packages for the same loft boarding, I was overcharged by over (£1000). No extra work/add-ons/variations was agreed or done to justify the difference - it was basic loft boarding & a ladder. No invoice breakdown was provided until after completion - claims of phantom items in the loft - providing images that differed from those initially provided by the company (before & after) to me. I requested a correction - Communication thereafter was unsatisfactory, blatantly refusing to resolve the official complaint logged. No satisfactory resolution offered, requesting additional payment. No accountability, which feels like a classic trap and switch. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Please obtain everything in writing including lighting, sockets, exact square meter, and fixed price before they start, and do not pay upfront. Do not proceed until everything is fully itemised, with fixed written quote. Overpriced for what is boards screwed down, very poor transparency. They are not regulated and as such will continue to bully and harass you. Save your money and go elsewhere.

The team were efficient, clean and friendly. Love my now usable loft space!
