IMO Car Wash - Blyth Anmeldelser 20

I paid for the second from the top car wash and when I got home there were water marks all over the car and the back and front bumper were both still filthy. Ended up having to wash it by hand myself so was a total waste of money! Probably won’t be back and would recommend family and friends to stay away.

To add to this, I reviewed this and also sent an email at the same time. The response from yourselves to my review is to email - I have already done this. It appears customer service and response times aren’t great either :(

First time in this car wash and it was terrifying. Car felt like it was going to crash into metal parts it wasn’t explained what was going to happen and the guy had to come into the machine to help out. Will never use again was so pleased to get out the other end.

The attendant was very helpful with app and how to set the car up. Quick service. Disappointed with the clarity of the batch offer, the bill was more than I expected. The app was downloaded but probably needs to be studied to understand it fully. The car was very clean but the appearance somewhat patchy. Otherwise a good experience, will come back.

As always treated by your attendant with curtacy. Professional service throughout. Thank you 👍

I purchased a pre-paid Triple Foam wash online in the middle of the afternoon on 20/03/26 intending to use it on the way home. When I arrived at the location at approx 16:00 I found the car wash to be closed and nobody in attendance.
This is the second time this has happened to me in the last couple of months.

Really I paid 19 pound for an ordinary car wash there was nothing better than paying 10 pound somewhere else.

The guy took forever to come out of the little office thing I even knocked on the door was just on his phone talking away guy too close to car with jet wash and then I asked for a car was price was cheaper on the board so I said I wanted that he said only if you have the app so I got it and was still the higher price on there so made no difference what so ever and once car was done in the wash still had loads of soap suds and streaks all over the windows not really happy with the service when spending £14 on a car wash even tho advertised as £9

There was mud in rear passenger side mud guard and after wash its still there

Left my car shiny and clean! Lovely staff who are always friendly. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thanks

Paid £12 for a Rainguard wash and when I got home the rear of the car was still dirty below window level.
Staff not particularly cheerful either.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I had my car washed by a man who couldn't have given a stuff about the cleanliness of my car, after the prewash and going through the brushes etc. I got out and my tyres were still dirty, I drove back around and he shrugged his shoulders and said he couldn't do anything!!! I asked if he was bothered and he shrugged and said not really.

Guy didn’t speak any English and had zero customer service. Alloys were still filthy afterwards - as was the glass. Not impressed and won’t be back as last time I drove back around as the dirt from my windscreen wasn’t clean (bird poo). He wasn’t bothered and shrugged as if to say ‘tuff’.
I gave it a second chance but definitely won’t be returning now.

First time using the Blyth one won’t be using them again still got dirty spots an water marks and the other one it’s scratched all me paint work wouldn’t be bad but I paid 18 pound

Feb 2025. Attendant was lazy and couldnt speak a word of English. Literally couldn't be bothered to do the prewash, sat in his office for teo minutes on his phone, then came out still on his phone talking in his own language on speakerphone, one handed half attempted jet wash and the other hand his mobile phone. Car was still dirty at the end. Awful service. Won't be back. Employ some staff with manners who actually do their job.

I use the car wash and vacuum regularly in blyth. I visited today as I wanted my car hoovered and their machines are normally good? However? The 1st machine I went to the hoover had no suction , so I wasted £1 and went to another one ? The hoover worked fine but it gave me only 2 mins then it went off ( the previous hoover was still going where I wasted £1)
I went to inform the member of staff who looked at me as if to say what's she talking about? He couldn't understand anything I was trying to tell him? I know I only spent ( and wasted £2) but it was the fact j got no apology or even a refund , ?
Normally the service Is quite good but on this occasion having a member of staff that can't understand English what's the point !!24

I'm an Imo app user and have been really pleased with the app and the service from the Blyth team. The app is simple to use and there's no hassle at the car wash. The quality of the washes each month are excellent too.

This place is terrible. I came here years ago for a valet and got amazing service so decided to come back again. In the last 3 years I have needed my car valeting 4 times and each time they're not there during opening hours, don't answer the phone, and they leave the lights on and equipment out which is misleading. I'm currently sitting outside at 4.10pm after waiting and calling for 15minutes on a day stated as closing at 6pm, no signs to say its closed but no staff to be found anywhere. Very angry at the repeated lacklustre attitude to open hours

Having had my car cleaned at the Blyth centre a few times, it’s no wonder that it was the first place I’d think to come after seeing my car had been reversed into. I was hoping a clean would remove any cosmetic damage before contacting insurance but Lee went above and beyond so I didn’t have to - he was really friendly, suggested a few ideas to remove the marks then took them off for me. I drove away, as I always do, feeling like I was driving a new car!
