It was concise and polite
I contacted the customer care team from Japan regarding a product I was considering buying.
I had been hesitant to make the purchase because I couldn't physically handle or examine the item and its materials, but I received concise and precise answers to my questions. I really appreciated the speedy response, especially given the time difference—it is currently the middle of the night here. Although purchasing from overseas is more expensive, I have decided to go ahead with the purchase.

I had high expectations for Hunza G given the price point (over $250 for a bikini) and the brand's reputation as a luxury swimwear company. Unfortunately, my experience has been incredibly disappointing.
After about a year of ownership, one localized section of my bikini became so worn that it turned see-through, despite me following the recommended washing instructions and taking good care of it. The only aspect of their care guidance I did not follow was wearing it in a hot tub approximately three times over the course of the year—a level of use I personally believe most customers would consider normal while on vacation.
When I contacted customer service, my claim was initially denied because of the hot tub use. Later, I was told it was because the suit was outside the 12-month warranty period, and finally I was told that "multiple aspects" of the care guidance had not been followed, despite no specifics being provided beyond the occasional hot tub use. Although they offered a 20% discount toward another purchase, I declined because I no longer have confidence in the product.
For a brand that markets itself as luxury, I expected a swimsuit that would last longer than a year and customer service that would stand behind its products. Instead, I was left with a $250+ bikini that is no longer wearable.
If you're considering purchasing from Hunza G, I would strongly recommend reading all of the care instructions before buying and deciding whether they fit how you actually use swimwear. Based on my experience, I won't be purchasing from this brand again.

We're sorry to hear that you remain disappointed with the outcome of your claim. Throughout our correspondence, we aimed to be transparent about the reasons for our decision.
As explained, your bikini was outside of our 12-month warranty period and, following our review, we also identified that the care instructions had not been followed on multiple occasions. These care instructions are clearly provided on the label inside all of our swimwear and are designed to help preserve the integrity and longevity of the fabric.
Based on the information provided, we were unable to identify a manufacturing defect. Instead, the condition of the garment was consistent with wear resulting from use outside of our recommended care guidance, which is why we were unable to offer a replacement or refund under our warranty policy.
We appreciate that this is not the outcome you were hoping for. As a gesture of goodwill, we did offer a 20% discount towards a future purchase, although we understand you chose not to accept this.

I had an issue with my bikini and contacted customer service. It was so easy and my issue was resolved within 10 mins. They sent me out a replacement bikini straight away. Great customer service. Easy to get in touch with and quick response. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I purchased 2 Hunza G bikinis and both…
I purchased 2 Hunza G bikinis and both have not lasted longer than 3 weeks of being worn on holiday. The material started to frail. I reached out to customer care and they said that as the bikinis were purchased from a 3rd party retailer and not direct with themselves, they were not able to assist me. The 3rd party retailer do not stock this brand any longer so also unable to support. If this is a manufactures issue then why cant the manufacturer help?? Feel very let down by Hunza G as for the amount of money spent, i feel there has been no support.

Worth Every Penny!
I’ve had such a great experience with Hunza G from start to finish. The customer service is genuinely exceptional – my query was answered rapidly with real care and attention, (shout out to Chloe!) and I felt valued as a customer.
The Hunza G products are still just as impressive as when I bought my first HG swimsuit years ago (which is still in pristine condition, by the way). You really do get what you pay for – the quality is outstanding. The swimwear is incredibly flattering, comfortable, and made to last, with the signature crinkle fabric fitting beautifully. I’ve also been so impressed with the towelling coord sets; they’re effortlessly stylish, versatile, and feel luxurious to wear.
It’s refreshing to find a brand that not only creates timeless, high-quality pieces but also backs them up with thoughtful and attentive customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hunza G and will definitely be shopping with them again.

Sheds microplastics
This swimsuit is poor quality. It realllly bothers me that this company would even bother with a Sustainability section on their website when their products noticeably shed microplastics after every swim (I am aware every swimsuit sheds some but this extreme)... I was covered in little black bits of the swimwear coming off onto my body and now it just continues to unravel slowly, like it's not properly hemmed. It's unjustifiable to not solve this basic problem.

Wanted to love it but who makes a…
Wanted to love it but who makes a bathing suit that isn’t chlorine resistant- especially for children!!
Got myself and my girls matching sets, understood that chlorine could cause fading but not to the extent it has. One of the lilac swimsuits is basically beige now after a week on holiday. What a horrific waste of money.

I recently had the worst experience…
I recently had the worst experience with Hunza G, despite being a loyal customer who has purchased multiple swimwear pieces from them in the past. This time, my order was a complete disaster. This caused so much pain and stress!
First, I noticed that half of the items I ordered were missing. When I inquired, they claimed the package weighed 0.7 kg, but their own consignment note listed it as 0.4 kg. This discrepancy raised immediate red flags. They lied to my face!
To make matters worse, one of the swimsuits, a Burberry design, arrived covered in black make-up. It was completely dirty and damaged. Additionally, the sarong came without any labels, and the entire order was delivered in a flimsy paper envelope that provided no protection for the items.
I found myself sending emails every day for ten days trying to resolve these issues. I provided all the necessary evidence, yet I received no apology or acknowledgment of the trouble I faced. This was particularly stressful as I was preparing for an overseas trip to celebrate my 40th birthday.
When I requested to return the damaged items, they said they would arrange for a courier, but no one ever showed up. A family member waited all day for the courier, but nothing happened, leading to even more stress. Now, they are holding almost a thousand dollars worth of my money until they receive all the damaged products I highlighted. I had to spend more money on other items.
Given this experience, I would strongly advise against purchasing from Hunza G again. The lack of accountability and customer care has left me incredibly disappointed.
