I brought two of the completes, the pot roast and the beef tips. Quality has slipped tremendously over the years. Tasted nasty and a waste of good money. Will be last time trying Hormel completes.

I purchased a packet/box of Hormel Spam Fritters (4 pieces) and i can truely say i have never eaten anything so completely tastless in all my life .... such a waste of money. After struggling to eat one piece i decided the best place for the remaining 3 was ..... THE BIN !!

I filed a claim with @HormelFoods after breaking a tooth on a foreign object found in one of their products. My claim was denied because I did not have the product packaging. Unfortunately, I had no reason to believe I would chip a tooth while eating the product, so I did not save the packaging. I'm disappointed with the outcome and wanted to share my experience as a reminder to save all packaging and product information from @HormelFoods in case an unexpected injury occurs.

I stopped buying Hormel canned foods completely. Last item I bought was corned beef hash. I opened up the can and expected it to be compacted, it was not. The corned beef hash was watered down and it looked like puke. I opened a 2nd one up and it was the same. Is this company watering down their product to meet its weight? Or is it done deliberately by Hormel Employees?
Never, Never, will I buy it again or recommend this processed food to anyone. Buyers beware. I hope the CEO of Hormel reads this article review.

Just opened a can of Chicken and Dumplings and there wasn't any dumplings, just a thin gravy? and a few pieces of chicken. No dumplings. The can said best by March 2029

Thick cut bacon?! I can read through it! Package was mostly uneven thin strips that wouldn’t separate without tearing apart.

if anyone can share similiar stories or needs more infomations, or can provide asssistance please reach out to me. i made a purchase of columbus meats/hormel products in northern california. on march 15 , 2026 during eating the deli meat i bit into three different bone fragments that caused injury to my mouth. i sought medical treatment the day after. i submitted an incident report at the store where i made the purchase. i also contacted hormel customer support with phone calls and emails. i provided receipts, photos of the injuries to my mouth and other supporting documents. in conversations on the phone and via electronic communications they accepted responbility for the injury . they said they would conduct an investigation. after a while they messaged and said that a check would be mailed to compensate for the negative experience and injuries. i contacted them the week of march 30 to follow up and learned the dollar amount of the check would be 25$. i was shocked that was their monetary assessment. i asked the rep "h" if hormel assessed the pain and suffering of the injury of the injury in determining payment amount. "h" said yes. the day before i spoke with "L" and asked for for the address, email or phone of the legal department, she refused to provide the information and asked for her manager, "H" to contact me. I then asked repeatedly for the same information, from "H". for the first few minutes she was adamant she could not provide the information. She then admitted that she worked for the legal department, then i asked her for the address again. she then insisted that i never asked her for the physical address..because she possibliy inadvertently admitted to being part of the legal department. she finally gave me the address. Both "L' and "H' that only my legal rep could contact the legal department. I then said that i believed that i could pursue with a small claims case on my own, if so chose.
Hormel and their staff obviously omits facts when communicating with those people possibly seeking compensation for injuries caused by their food products. 25$ is not adequate compensation for injuries. I strongly believe that they readily send small payments and coupons because most people are appeased by some type of response. but, also cashing those small checks gives them ability to say, in the event that they are taken to court..that the claimants case was deemed closed because they cashed the check. Food was nothing like advertisement and tasted horrible

Bought beef tips in gravy and had globs of soft fat throughout. I had to spit it out. Reaching the company is a joke; seems that they really don't want to know. Had purchased these in the past but won't do so again!

I like spam but here I sit having just attempted to eat a spem cheesy fritter a horrific experience does not taste like spam at all just mmore like rancid pork

I just opened a can of Hormel Tamales that on the can looked like regular tamales....inside were crushed stuffed not put in straight so they were smooshed flattened "C"'s. these were the hot spicy ones and if the had been in tamale shape could have been good....a piece of bread was thicker than any part of the tamales. upc 37600 14558 barely legable buttom 199w bo8294 bb 8/27

I just tried their canned corned beef. It had a key to open the can, but that didn't work, so I had to use a can opener. It didn't taste bad (maybe a little too salty) but getting it out of the can the way I did, it ended up looking like dog food!

That can's too much of a challenge. They should have one with a pull top that opens easily.

I suggest you do not waste your money purchasing Hormel Black label bacon unless you like more fat than meat and I mean more fact 25% meat 75% fat waste of money big time will never purchase any of their products by looking at reviews they've had this problem for a long time and just don't care!

Have eaten chicken and mashed potatoes
Compleats for years. Today disappointing. Is this quality control or are they down sizing the chicken portion. Almost all mashed potatoes and gravy. Chicken half the size really?

Well, I have eaten spam my entire life. I will think twice from now on, the can expires Oct 2026, I opened it up and it was mildewed with mold, I tried to call the company that was a joke.

Comments regarding Black Label microwave ready bacon. We decided to give this product a try. Reason being we got tired of cooking and clean up afterwards. Easy instructions and the best of part "no mess no clean up". And grandkids can't tell the difference. Great product. Will continue to purchase for the foreseeable future. Thanks again for a great product.

Completes show a beautiful beef dinner on the packaging. When I opened the container there were only 4 little pieces of beef. A real example of “bait and switch”. Wrote a letter to them with no response. CRAP COMPANY!!!

Hormel Foods compleats gave me EDEMA put me in the hospital THREATEN my life. I don't eat this dog shet no more.
