Just purchased a pool table following an appointment with Alex Ireland. Alex talked me through the various options and given the climate constraints of my garden room we settled on the Rasson Apollo. Fantastic service which sets a high benchmark. Looking forward to an equally excellent installation.

I’ve been looking to buy a retro arcade machine for our home bar. As with any large bulky item you need to make sure you’ve got your dimensions bang on. Charlie has been brilliant answering all my questions and running round measuring odd angles for me. The hard work has paid off and I’ve ordered the machine. It should be a perfect fit. Excellent service. We have previously bought our pool table from this company and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thanks for your help today Charlie. Great job.

We are absolutely delighted with our Huntsman pool/dining table. We found the sales advisors extremely helpful when choosing our table. The quality and crastsmanship is of a very high standard and excellent value for money. Delivery was on the date agreed and on time even though they travelled from Bristol to Lincolnshire. The delivery guys set up and levelled the table so it was all ready to play, which took them approx 1hr to complete. They even removed all packaging from our house too. The height of the table is perfect for use with our oak dining chairs too. The whole service/communication from start of enquiry to final delivery and set up was excellent. We would highly recommend Home Leisure Direct.

I bought an arcade max with light guns. Could not setup as the sensor supplied in the box is different to the one on the instructions. Tried multiple times, eventually drove to their showroom and asked someone to show me how to setup. Staff said we dont know how to setup and will need to ring customer service. Rang and explained the issue, asked for some photos of sensor and no response from Ross after 3 weeks, chased numerous times by phone and email. Raising a small claims court claim as product is not as advertised and they dont have a clue how to setup

I recently bought a Signature Chester “Silver Mist” 6ft Pool / Dining Table secondhand from an 3rd party and unfortunately it got some slight surface damage in transit.

I reached out to Home Leisure Direct who supplied the table originally and, although they had no part to play in any of this, they were happy to help me out; initially with some advice and then actually sent me some matching touchup paint free in the post - even though I wasn’t a direct customer of theirs.

Home Leisure Direct - This is excellent customer service and I would also say the build quality of Signature Chester “Silver Mist” 6ft Pool / Dining Table is excellent - very high-quality product and service 👌

I recently purchased a 7ft pool table from Home Leisure Direct. I had been previously chatting to them and arranged an appointment in the store to finalise my selections. Alex was very friendly, knowledgeable and let me take as much time I needed to check out other tables and cloth colours. Even laying out swatches on the tables so I could see the different combinations. I would highly recommend this company and encourage you to visit their ultimate mancave of a shop to see their various arcades, pinball machines and pool tables. The table was ready in less than a week and the delivery guys were fantastic. They ensured everything was set up perfectly before showing me how to operate and care for my table and what everything was, from the different cues, balls and accessories. Top quality service!

Where do I even begin?

The original delivery time for my 7ft American pool table was 4–6 weeks… it ended up taking almost 12 weeks to arrive. And let me be clear: not once did I receive any communication explaining the delays. Absolutely nothing.

From week 6 onwards, I had to start chasing them myself. Every time I called, I got fobbed off the phone by someone called Sophia who was unbelievably rude and dismissive. All I kept hearing was, “Yeah, it’s coming.” No updates, no explanations—just attitude.

When the table was FINALLY “ready,” I was told the fitters could pick it up on Wednesday. Surprise, surprise—it wasn’t even ready. It was only available on Thursday, and (yet again) they didn’t bother to tell me until I rang them myself. The amount of times I had to chase them is shocking.
Then comes the fitting. The table was supposed to be installed on Monday… except the company didn’t give the fitters the cloth. How does that even happen? We had to reschedule the fitting to Thursday because of their incompetence.

And it gets better…

We paid for the accessories pack, which includes expensive Aramith balls. Instead, they handed us some cheap knock-off balls, didn’t mention anything about it, and also didn’t provide the chalk pack, microfibre cloths, or cue spray that we paid for.

At this point I’m thinking: Is anything this company does actually professional?
I then spoke to a manager named Ted, who promised to “try” to get me the Aramith balls — even though I’m literally owed them. Then he tried implying that I was only calling to get money back. Completely unacceptable.
He claimed the balls were out of stock — meanwhile they are fully in stock on their website, and I even had to buy my own set because I was tired of the nonsense. Why am I paying premium prices for this level of disrespect and incompetence?

Let me be clear:

The table itself is beautiful and high quality.
But guess what? There are many other companies who make tables just as good AND actually provide proper customer service. If I’m spending this kind of money, the least I expect is communication. A message, an email, a phone call — anything. Instead, I had to chase them every step of the way only to be brushed off.

Looking at other reviews, it seems this company has a habit of trying to twist things to make themselves look innocent when replying publicly. That won’t be happening here.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
THEY ARE LIARS, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL, AND THEY TAKE ZERO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR MISTAKES.

Just to remind anyone looking to purchase from this so called company, read reviews. They have gone bankrupt and taken thousands of people. They have then re invented themselves. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

We ordered a pool table and it arrived as agreed within 2 weeks. Aaron and Neil were first class at during working here . Clean , tidy , respectful and professional. An absolutely credit to the company. Pool table is as expected , yet to win a game yet but don’t think that’s under warranty!

Ordered an Apollo Rasson with Strachan 861 cloth. Table arrived when they said it would, and delivery was smooth, with Mitch and his colleague being very friendly and helpful.

I would recommend Home Leisure Direct to anyone looking for a serious product - they know what they're talking about!

The overall service very good throughout. I received my pool table a week before Christmas. I think concidering the amount of money being spent the only observation i would make is an email giving updates two or three weekly instead of the customer having to chase. I was told at the start it would be several weeks but the lack of contact was a bit unnerving. I am impressed with all the equipment especially the Cues I got two break off Cues an two playing Cues. Being a snooker player I really appreciate how good they are for the cost. I would recommend homeleisure everyday of the week.

Neil and Aaron have just installed a 7FT Supreme Winner Black Pearl Slate Pool Table. Great service fro. the guys and all done in 15 minutes. They are very professional informative and amenable. I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Leisure who also exceeded expectations on delivery timeline

We chose Home Leisure Direct for a large commercial order because the sales communication before purchase was very reassuring and professional. Unfortunately, our experience after delivery has been the complete opposite.

Multiple tables supplied to us suffer from clear quality issues, particularly relating to the slate on the English pool tables. These problems were identified shortly after installation and were reported to the company on numerous occasions.

We were asked to provide videos and were told that an engineer would attend to inspect and resolve the faults. We relied on these assurances and waited, only for nothing to happen. Months later, the issues remain unresolved.

As a venue open to the public, this has had a serious impact on our business. Customers regularly complain, some no longer return, and the condition of the tables reflects badly on our venue despite this being entirely outside our control.

For a purchase of this size, the lack of accountability and after-sales support has been extremely disappointing. Our experience suggests that once payment is taken, resolving problems becomes very difficult.

Beware. Home Leisure Direct have entered administration and have conveniently been bought out by Home Leisure Direct Worldwide Ltd who coincidentally were incorporated a week before the administration leaving us with hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of faulty goods that they’ll no longer honour any kind of warranty for. Their suppliers are leaving in droves so please don’t part with any money unless the goods are physically with you.

What a disaster! Ordered a pool table in June, promised delivery by Christmas, but it never showed up. Cancelled the order and was told to contact administrators for a refund after the company went into administration. Not a good experience 😂. Avoid this company!

Ordered a Signature Tournament Pro Edition Pool Table after visiting the Home Leisure showroom, which was delivered and installed on time. Extremely pleased with the quality of the table and the communication and service from the company. No complaints with the whole process and would highly recommend.

Ordered a pool table early December for delivery pre-Christmas as a gift for my son.

Unfortunately it took me chasing the courier on the scheduled day of delivery to find out it was no longer in stock and they hadn't been able to pick it up. At no point did Home Leisure Direct let me know this in advance of delivery date.

Upon contacting them they admitted the mistake and offered me a full refund. By this point it was mid-December and I was told it would take 7 - 10 days to action. Not ideal but was accepted.

After 10 working days I contacted them to ask about the refund and have been told the company has entered administration and has been bought out by a company with a suspiciously similar name.

If I want to get any money back I have to deal with the administrators.

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour and complete lack of compassion for those they have taken money from, for products they had no ability to supply or refund.

Please don't use this company in whatever form they reinvent themselves, as there are other far more trustworthy companies out there.
