Homebase - Penge Anmeldelser 

Collected my order from Homebase Penge, London. I was let down by the cab company I had booked and Collete was amazing. She found a local cab company (Clockhouse), who were there within 10 minutes and got me home safely.
Collete's team mates were fantastic, helping load my items into the cab - even protecting the cab boot with cardboard. Homebase bosses, look after this team.

It was the first time I have used click and collect. I found the experience very straightforward. The young lady at the till was very pleasant and helpful. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Despite the website advising otherwise, there is no wood cutting facility at the Penge store and apparently there hasn’t been since covid. Considering we’re now in 2024 it would be good to get the website updated homebase to avoid wasted journeys, like mine, and wasted time/money spent on click and collect orders. Customers, like myself, have no option other than to rely on your website when the store doesn’t answer their phone to clarify these things. I have since bought elsewhere. I think homebase need to reconsider the removal of their wood cutting facility as many customers, like myself, benefit from such services when they don’t have access to a van and home delivery’s not an option listed on your website. Not a great experience at all.

I have bought a keter outdoor storage online , to be collected in Catford, went there and receievd a phone call saying it is not on stock anymore, and been told try Penge homebase.
Just pop in the Penge store, asked help to a staff, his name is KUMAR, such a nice, polite, and helpful person. Because of his 5* service ,I will definitely shop again in this branch.

Helpful staff, quick and easy collection.
Needed an extra item which the lady collected for me.

The Community Champion, Kumar at Homebase Penge organised a massive donation of compost and plants for our community garden. We're so grateful to him and his team!

Efficient and helpful.

Colette kindly pointed out that I could save £18 on paint by buying the 2nd one half price. I actually needed this paint for an additional room.
Then Ryan was very helpful in scouring the upper shelves to find the last paint in the colour and brand I needed. Colette very taped up the paint pots to ensure I did not spill any paint on the way home. They made a great team and really take customer service seriously.

Great service at Penge - Betty repaired a faulty product by drilling out a bolt and re-assembling it!!

Colette at the Penge branch was excellent: very helpful and well informed. Never felt more looked after as a customer anywhere. Please nominate her for national staff award and bonus. It was clear from her interactions with other customers that ‘excellence’ is her normal.

The young person who served me was really efficient & friendly then volunteered to load the heavy goods into my car.
