Homebase - Birmingham Selly Oak Anmeldelser 

I went to Homebase ,didn't realise the car park has a limit of 90 mins,i was 10mins over, So I got fine of 100 Pounds. I think it's really not fair, and unjust. So they have scamped a pensinor, hoping all the worst to the company, im glad it's closing down.

As always, Homebase offers an excellent service!!!! So sad this much loved company is going to disappear along with all the other much loved companies that have fallen along the wayside!!!!

Customer service was awful from 2 of the staff on the click and collect service in the Selly oak branch, and I felt unwelcomed and will not be returning again.

Wonderful service - such a shame Homebase has gone into administration as it’s great store with alot of variety.

We have ordered a country living kitchen from Homebase with the help of the fantastic Margaret. Not only was she very honest about everything that we needed, she listened to what I had already in mind. She double and tripled checked every element of the design plan and item breakdown. She made everything very easy and straightforward. I will be ordering units and doors for a utility area in the near future. I have already received part of the order and have all dates ready for the next deliveries.

They did exactly what one would expect from a reputable company.

Said I would receive an email stating when my very small order would be ready. No email received went to store to collect anyway as was on limited time

We recently bought a kitchen from them and the whole process was excellent. They were very helpful during the planning process and not at all pushy. They recommended a fantastic fitter Arron and Darren who went out of their way to create the perfect kitchen. As most jobs there were a few things that needed working around and Mags at the store was super helpful at assisting us. Really couldn't ask for a better experience.

Having your kitchen refitted is a major job and don't underestimate the unheaval it brings. Make sure you work with professionals who have done it a 100 times before and have the experience and the humour to navigate your way through it.

Great customer service

Ordered items online click and collect, shortly after had a call from Homebase telling me some of the items where unavailable and a refund would be issued. I travelled to the store to collect the items they had but they were damaged so requested a refund. I was told refund would have to be made on line and that the money would be in my bank within three days. This did not happen so I contacted customer service. They raised an issue with the store. After seven days i had heard nothing and the full refund had not been made, I contacted the store, a young man called Brian spoke to me and said he checked the order and there was nothing on the order about any further refund to be made, he suggested I visit the store which I did. When I arrived at the store he showed me the order and lo and behold the refunds where pending, I photographed the screen. I still have three more days to wait for the bank to clear the refund.
Never again!

Ordered item for pick up collection, item unfortunately was broken and had to make another journey to exchange item, but replacement wasn't in stock. Had to go to different store to purchase item. Staff were polite.

Easily ordered paint on line for click & collect at my local Homebase. Text confirming order was ready received within 10minutes and it was collected within an hour of order being placed. Got a great price to as buy one get one half price was applicable and I got an additional 10% discount on top👍

Wanted grey emulsion paint we have a store close to where we live but they run out looked online ordered and paid received text to come and collect my item easy keep up the good work

I placed an order for batteries and extension lead on click and collect. Within 30 minutes I received a call from the store saying they hadn't got any extension cables so would action a refund for that. I went to collect the batteries and found plenty of the exact extension cables I ordered by the tills.
