I want to thank Mario Gagnon & Pierre for their top-notch service today. These gentlemen delivered and installed my "LEAK" amplifier & CD Player...plus...Wharfedale Diamond Speakers. They also put together a stand which not only looks amazing, it is very strong & sturdy. If they gave a "Stanley Cup" for Audio Equipment & Service, HiFiPro would win !!! Thank You/Merci ~ Ronald W.

Products were received in perfect condition two days after placing order. These are hard to find items and I was happy to locate them at a Canadian online retailer. Price was fair and free shipping was a bonus.

The glass platter fit perfectly on my RP1 although I did keep my old felt mat over the new wool mat included with the platter to avoid any VTA issues. The replacement drive belt was easy to install. Audible improvements are subtle but I am noticing quieter backgrounds and much improved stereo imaging. The platter does take a few seconds longer to get up to speed but that is to be expected. I read different things on any possible strain to the motor but it seems fine so far. I will update the review if necessary.

Overall if you have an RP1 in good order and want to kick it up a notch this is a worthwhile upgrade. And it looks gorgeous too which enhances the tactile experience of playing a record. No small part of the vinyl experience.

My first purchase from HIFI of a floor standing speaker.

A nice pair of Davis Acoustic Maya speakers.

I didn’t expect much from this speakers but was pleasantly surprised at how good there are. Extremely room friendly, with decent volume output for both music listening and movie watching.

How Davis Acoustics coaxed such a respectable performance from a small tweeter is beyond me.

Shipping:

I appreciated that each corner of the speaker box was reinforced with stiff cardboard but I would definitely recommend an extra layer of either cardboard or even think plastic just to protect against punctures.

What a great hifi shopping experience. I was in the market for a specific phono cartridge that was in short supply in my town. I found one at HiFi Pro. Before ordering, I asked for confirmation as the distributor was saying it would be between 3 and 6 months before they received a new shipment. Having gone through that unpleasant experience with another out-of-town shop, I really didn't want to go through it again. Stephane assured me that they did indeed have one in stock, so I jumped on it.

The other great aspect of the transaction was the shipping. I was given a tracking number and an expected date and sure enough, the box arrived on the day they said it would.

So what else can you ask for? Great products, no BS about inventory availability and an excellent delivery experience.

hifipro.ca is a smooth-running machine with good straight-shooting people making it go. After waiting weeks for another Canadian firm to fulfill this same order, I gave up, cancelled the order and made the new order with hifipro.ca. The iFi Zen Phono Preamp from hifipro.ca was in my hands in three days from order. You cannot ask for a better result. The gear arrived in perfect condition, the product itself is as-described, which is to say an excellent bang-for-buck piece of budget phono preamp perfection. All went as good as it gets!

Le probleme se trouve avec leur livreur c'est a dire CANPAR.
Cette compagnie refuse de livrer a votre porte,alors que toute les autres compagnies le font.
C'est tres embetant lorsque vous demeurer en logements .
Vous devez descendre a l'entree de l'edifice' pour vous appercevoir que votre paquet y est sans surveillance, alors que le livreur est deja parti.
