Knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff who go the extra mile. It can be intimidating to go in to a specialist shop, but HiFi Gear made me feel at ease straight away - the enthusiasm and passion for all things hifi and music shines through and I couldn't help but enjoy the experience!

I replaced my old Rotel CD player and tuner with modern equivalents after considerable research which led me to purchase online from HiFi Gear at a good price. In my experience, Rotel kit is very reliable but I had a problem with the CD player after only two weeks. An email to Charlie Lloyd provided a quick response by arranging collection of the faulty unit the next day and sourcing a replacement over the weekend, since it was out of stock. The new unit was obtained in three days, checked, its firmware was updated then shipment arranged to suit my schedule. The whole process took just one week. It was hassle free, supportive & friendly which should be cherished these days. I thoroughly recommend this seller for their excellent after sales service.

Had an appointment to listen to the Rega P3 eco on Monday. Demo all set up with the cartridge I wanted to hear. Jamie and Charlie were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They even fitted the cartridge i had brought with me. AT95ML. Very happy with the purchase and service .

Fast service perfectly packaged

Spent a great morning recently in the Hifigear demo room reviewing a couple of turntables. Jamie was informative without dominating, allowing me to come to my own conclusions. He also managed to sort out a deal so I could actually afford my preference without blowing my budget. Really great service from friendly and knowledgeable people, can’t recommend them highly enough.

Jamie and Charlie provided an amazing service when we had a problem with a product I bought online from them. The product was replaced without question or fuss, I thoroughly recommend this seller and will certainly be using them for all my Hi-Fi needs from now on. Brilliant.

I phoned the shop for some advice which I found to be very helpful indeed with no hint of "up-selling". Just genuine honest advice. I then placed an order online in the mid afternoon and the speakers were delivered early next morning. Exemplary service on all counts. Highly recommended.

Helpful, polite, good comms, knowlegable

Jamie and Charlie went out of their way to solve the problems I have been having with streaming/network/Amp interference. After months of investigation the problem came down to an item I didn't buy from them, bought from a Gloucestershire HiFi shop 4 years ago before moving into the area. They still tested this item for me FOC to make sure it was this product. I have since upgraded my speakers after their recommendation after a demo in the shop which are excellent. The Network Amp is on it's way back to the maker and HiFi Gear have even lent me a product to try out while this is progressed. This item sounds very very good too. All my HiFi in the future will be through the guys.

Fantastic.
Superbly packed.
Deck in exceptional condition.
Nothing at all to suggest it was a B Grade.

Great service. I got a call prior to HiFi gear dispatching the phono stage to me to check finish that I wanted as it wasn't clear within the the order. The unit arrived promptly and was very well packed. It is now installed and working well.

Went in to demo (and then buy) some ex-demo Dali speakers. Really helpful emails ahead of the demo, and great advice and service while in the shop for the demo (great listening space upstairs!). The speakers were in immaculate condition and as new. Will be going back :-)

Great advice and fantastic service. Ordered a Rega amplifier and received the next day. I then ordered a WiiM Pro + streamer but they called to explain that for my setup the Pro would be a better buy (didn't need another DAC). Highly recommended.

Really brilliant service; one of the few (only?) places in the UK to genuinely have the item in stock rather than lure you in with "call for more details", and they couldn't have been nicer when I called to double-check! Excellent speedy despatch and sensible packing to boot. Highly recommended.
