I've never known a company to be so full of lies. I ordered, what was advertised as a "genuine soft leather" jacket with "easy UK returns". What I received was a very obvious plastic coat that stank of fish. The return process is ridiculously convoluted and they offered me 10% of the cost, advising me that it would be too expensive for me to send back. I managed to push them up to 20% but am now left with an item I'm not sure I even want to give to charity. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Dishonest and fraudulent company. I can't believe they are allowed to operate.

They are a fraud of a company!
Received the item after a couple of weeks. Very low quality hoodie.
I asked for return and refund… their policy for my opinion is actually a fraud, the return process is very difficult, long and actually more expensive than the actual jumper.
They are based in China.

Do not use this website SCAMMERs poor quality goods. Non existent refund policy as I tried to gain a returns form just ignored all my emails. Buy nothing from them.

I would not use this company again under any circumstances. The goods I ordered were poor quality and they would not send a refund form, despite my requesting 6 times. They just kept sending emails asking why I wanted to return the goods & would I like an exchange, to which I responded each time. The phone number on their website is Dutch but then shows Tunisia when you dial, then gives a message that the number is unavailable. Also use the name Harris Mode

I ordered 2 coats and they never arrived. When I contacted the company they kept giving me a different time frame and said they weren't able to refund me.

Total scam!!!

I ordered a lovely looking jacket from Harper Mode. Firstly, it came way later than it said. Secondly, the quality of the jacket was terrible and it looked nothing like the picture. Thirdly the belt on the jacket was broken and unable to be used or fix. I got no refund from them instead the option to send it back but pay more money for it to get shipped to China. Never using this website again

Terrible company. Quantity of products is very very poor. Ordered 3 'Cashmere' scarfs... 3 very thin cotton scarfs arrived with a sticker on each scarfs that says 'cashmere'. I was so upset as paid £80 for them for my wedding and we are super tight on budget and they are unusable. the refund process was impossible. Do not buy from this company.

I was also scammed by this company. When my goods did not arrive. I contacted my bank, (good old nationwide) to cancel my card Nationwide got me a refund within 24 hours. .

Both of my jackets have arrived and I am very pleased with them, but should stress that even though the Company stated the jackets I bought were ‘leather’, they are actually PU.
At least they both turned up from 2 different orders.

This Company which now call themselves Harris Mode, previously operating under Harper Mode, are a Chinese SCAM company, not based in Holland as first seems. I should have checked Trustpilot before purchasing Christmas presents from this fake company. I have received extremely bad treatment from Lisa (Customer Service), who is their contact dealing with countless emails from myself requesting a refund and a forwarding return address for the sub-standard and incorrect sized clothes. The clothing took ages to come and is of such poor quality and made with substandard materials which feel like nylon. I am getting nowhere dealing with this company and have lost over £100 pounds, this has caused me so much distress, as with everyone else it seems. The clothes were meant to be Christmas presents and now I have nothing or any money to purchase more! I also requested a contact telephone number for the Managing Director, but no answer as of yet (I wont hold my breadth!), so be aware, do not buy or get involved with this company they should not be allowed to trade. I am contacting Trading Standards and Action Fraud 0300 1232040, I advise everyone else on here to do the same. Do not part with your hard earned cash!!

Another scam seller - product was poor quality and not as described - shipped from China, even though website suggests their HQ is in Holland. Tried to get a refund but they stopped responding to emails. AVOID

Stay away they are genuinely thief’s that will gladly take your money and no product produced, just a false tracking number for a China air freight that non existent. No customer service to report too . No money back guaranteed

I ordered a lovely ankle length coat on16th Nov which should have arrived within 7 to 10 days. I tried tracking the order and found it was actually coming from China although I was led to believe I was ordering from a Uk company. After 4 weeks of no parcel and no more tracking updates I asked for refund. My email was ignored and next thing I knew the Harper Mode website was no longer available. I then got an email from a Harris Mode website saying Harper Mode will now be known as Harris Mode. I tried going through that web site for a refund but still no answer from any of them.

Ordered from a website pretending to be a UK company and only shipping within the UK. Paid premium price for what looked a premium jacket for my son.

What turned up was something way too small, made from material similar to a dishcloth, and looking nothing like the images on the website.

Immediately asked for a refund only to be told to send back to China at my own expense. Refused and initiated a chargeback with my credit card provider, which has been completed in my favour.

Upon initiating the charge back had Harper Mode try and offer me a 20% refund which I ignored.

Please note they now operate under Harris Mode. Complete scam as can be seen from the reviews below.

I bought a coat and found that it was too small when I received it. I contacted the companys' Holland email and found them more than helpful.
I was offered any replacement I wanted from their website that matched the price of the original purchase.
Their customer support operative (Lisa) replied to every email, and the whole process was very straight forward.

"Hello,

I hope this message finds you well.

I wanted to let you know that the replacement has been processed and is on its way to you. We sent you the Waterproof jacket for men- Color: khaki, size: 4xl.

Lisa"

Once I receive my jacket I will post a review about it.

UPDATE 6/1/25
I received the jacket and it is a good fit.
I have worn it several times, its comfy and has plenty of pockets, its lightweight which, for me was important.
It is now my main jacket when going out.

Goods no show. Good comms on route to me but ‘dried up’ when item allegedly entered uk.
I supect ive been liberated of £50 in a scam of some sort. I believed this was a dutch company until i further researched it. Yes its good old chinese con men/ladies at it again. Schoolboy error, i should have checked trust pilot reviews before pressing apple pay

Please do not use this company! Goods are terrible quality, do not contain what fabric is made from, were horribly itchy & then I got scammed from a refund. Goods come from China, take ages to arrive & when they did, I asked to return them, was offered 20% refund to keep the goods but they are so bad, I wouldn’t have even given them away. They refused to provide the return address & so I sent the goods to the return address on the parcel only to now be told I should have sent them back to China, pay €20 & also customs charges before being able to get a refund. The return address is not on their website (because they are showing as a Dutch company) & so please please please, do not use them. I lost £80 and am now trying to get this back through my bank & trading standards
