GO Outdoors - Wigan Anmeldelser 

I visited Go Outdoors in Wigan a few days ago as I’m looking for a new waterproof coat.
I met a lovely salesperson called Gemma who couldn’t have been more helpful .
She let me try on all the coats that liked and even went to get a work colleague from the warehouse that currently has one of the coats that I was interested in to tell me more about it.
Gemma was so helpful , such a professional approach to her work , I will definitely go back to this store for future purchases.

I wanted some hiking shoes but not sure which. Staff member helped with sizes. I have used the Merrel shoes now for hiking. Very comfy

Good range of walking shoes at reasonable prices but womens only start at size 4 with no option to order a size 3.

I knew broadly what I wanted, chose the walking shoes that I wanted. The gentleman who was in the shoe section wasn’t particularly engaging, he appeared slightly disinterested. Otherwise the usual positive experience.

I bought a bicycle in the Wigan Go Outdoor. The shop assistants are very kind. The bicycle specialist, Paul is very expert, helpful and conscientious.
When I went to pick up my new bicycle I got unwell feeling in the store. He looked after me very conscientiously until my husband arrived.
Next day when I was able to pick up the bike he set up it perfectly.

Called today for walking shoes. Nikki on footwear was very pleasant and helpful. So much so I bought a pair. Best of all they had my size in stock. Very satisfied Terry B.

I wasn’t looking forward to shopping today as I wasn’t sure what I wanted for camping and cooking.
I asked a member of staff for help, her name was Sue.
She was brilliant. She asked me a few simple questions about what ideas I had and what budget I had. She walked me through my options and guided me, helping me get stuff, she really helped me. She also advised me on other stuff that I had not considered, but I can see now that I really need.
Once I had a trolley full of the stuff that I needed, Sue then introduced me to Zhaleh at the checkout.
Zhaleh advised me how to get over £50 of discount, I am over the moon. Thank you to Sue and Zhaleh for making my shopping experience so enjoyable 🙏

Good range of items, with options for different prices ranges. The staff are always helpful and friendly. It would be helpful if the dressing rooms had chairs to test how clothes fit and to put your own clothes.

Today Mandi & Paul Looked after me, they were a huge help with my items and nothing was too much trouble. Great sense of humour and we had a good laugh which made the experience more relaxing and enjoyable. Really great colleagues and a true asset to the business. There was an item out of stock, which stopped me from being able to get the bundle with my tent which was disappointing although the staff did explain that there was a delivery missing which may have caused that issue. Will visit again once the items i need are restocked.

Service is amazing never had any issues in exchanging or returning items that weren't right fitting or slight damage staff always find the best deal and discounts suited for me or my partner

Yet again you are advertising products available in the store and you haven’t got them yet again , I was in the Wigan store 2wk ago looking at fishing rods and there was a rod made up of 2 entirely different rods it came from another store according to your staff

I was served today by a very helpful young man named Lucas, in the footwear department. He took the time to find the sandals I wanted and when they didn't have my size he explained my choices and checked out which other stores had my size. He then ordered them for me to be delivered to the Wigan store. Throughout the interaction Lucas was polite, well mannered and provided excellent customer service.

Served by Nikki today she was really helpful and gave 5star customer support when purchasing items out of stock in the store

The tent was a 2 man tent it would only fit one 7 years old in wot a load of bull this was a disaster weekend all because of go outdoors will not be going agen I have spent thousands in there never again ... Martin
