Built bike on time ready for collection

Able to pick up everything we needed today, and really happy with the price. Louise on the till was very friendly and helpful as we worked out how to carry everything home! 😂

Staff members were very helpful and willing. Louise was particularly helpful. Large shop with great selection and limited free onsite parking. Building is quite dated and awkward to negotiate.

I always have the same experience at go outdoors. Today I asked to try a different sized shoe, which I had to approach a group of 3 staff chatting, and it was clearly an irritation to them. Eventually get a different, wrong shoe dropped to me and then they disappear again. Fine, won't buy the shoes. Asked another, separate group of colleagues if there was someone I could discuss inner tube sizing with. "There is (I can't remember the name) but he is on footwear so there won't be anyone until 4. If he is on footwear he isn't doing a very good job, any why can't I talk to him about an inner tube??

Find one I think will work, go to pay, 2 checkouts open, queue for one of them. I join other queue. Person serving serves the one person in front of me, then closes the till and actually says excuse me to walk past me.

Join the other queue. One customer at the front is taking a very very long time to ask about different items in stock. All the while I can still see the groups of staff milling around the shop.

This could have been such an easy in-and out multiple hundred pound visit, I have spent a tenner and even that was difficult to achieve, and took way too long because of compete lethargy.

How do you actually make any sales??

Go outdoors Sheffield central - why are the leisure batteries are upstairs!
It's such a hazard they are so heavy, it's not the staffs choice they also agree it's not a great idea 🤷‍♂️
Deffo needs to be changed asap!

I have been checking online to find a carpet for my Vango Icarus 500DLX, and nothing was ever in stock at stores in the region.
I called the Sheffield branch on the off chance and spoke to Leanna, who literally went over and above checking stock for me at other stores, but I was advised that the Vango one will probably not be in for quite some time.
She spoke with Colin in the tent section who advised a better alternative, so I went to the store to collect one.
I met Leanna to say thank you for her amazing service who showed me upstairs to meet Colin, who was also extremely courteous and spent time answering other question I had.
People are very quick to complain, but very slow to compliment, but on this occasion these two staff members customer service skills were impeccable.
Go Outdoors, you need to model your customer service training on these two staff members as they were faultless in their professionalism and product knowledge.

Well lit, clean shop, got some lovely t shirts with discount for being a member. Staff very friendly and helpful. Particular mention to Lisa on the till, who was having to accept parcels at the same time, got the job done, quickly and efficiently.
We’ll definitely be back in the near future.

Had everything we wanted, suitable sugar with neck protection and eco sanitary fluid for our caravan toilet. Lisa who served us especially helpful changing our address, having recently moved and sorting out a new card and not getting flustered despite a queue behind. Our regular outdoors shop

Lisa was fantastic today ensuring I got everything I needed whilst understanding and being patient as I juggled with my 2 children (4 years and 16 months) - she even helped me to the car. Great service and will be revisiting and recommending in the future!
