I was looking for walking shoes and had quite specific requirements. I was served by Gareth who listened very carefully, brought the shoe I selected in 2 different sizes for me to try, and then suggested something else for me to try which was a perfect fit. Gareth was very knowledgeable and really understood his stock.
I left the store feeling that I had experienced excellent customer service. Thank you.

Straightforward, efficient and friendly
I went into the shop with a specific purchase in mind and came out with exactly what I wanted.
The service was efficient, friendly and spot on.
Unfortunately I forgot the name of the woman who served me, but it was around 3.30pm, so it should be easy to identify her.

I would like to thank Ashley for his guidance and advice yesterday when I came shopping for a new fleece lining for my Berghaus coat. He knew just what I was looking for and took the time to check the sizes and put the fleece in my jacket to check that the new lining fitted with my outer jacket. Great product knowledge as well as patience and attention to detail,and very personable.

Unsatisfactory experience
I was sold Merrell walking shoes of different sizes-one a 4 and the other a 5. I made a10 mile return journey to return them to find the store closed at 16.40p.m. when it says on the website that the store was open till -17.30p.m.
I returned today to discover that the other size 4 shoe could not be found. Hence a refund. A totally unsatisfactory service I’m afraid. I also took out the £5 membership which is now wasted.

I popped into the Llandudno express store 10 minutes before closing time on the 14th of October to be greeted with a very helpful and still cheerful chap called Ashley who had been stock taking all day (usually a draining job) he still had a smile and that’s what good customer service is all about-well done bud
