The agents were very nice and very helpful.

Buying a property for sale via Goodwin Fox in Withernsea. All the staff are lovely and helpful. I have spoken to them more than my own solicitor who never returns my calls. They have even chased my solicitor on numerous occasions. Would definitely recommend.
Arrogant and dishonest.
We tried to put in an offer to buy a house. We were told we could not as we were not able to view. We explained we were disabled and unable to travel and that it would be very costly for us given it was such a long way to travel. She said her vendors would not accept offers from people that could not view. It was explained to her that it was breaking several laws as it was discriminating and bias against disabled people. She still refused and when we told her she was breaking the law her colleague emailed and was aggressive and truculent and when we told her about all the laws she was breaking she said she was not prepared to discuss the matter. She ignores all emails and even requests for an address for service so we can take her to Court. Even laws directly affecting estate agents state they have to put forward all offers without conditions. She then says the offer was rejected but they might reconsider it if we view it.
Estate agents must abide by the Estate Agents Act 1979 which states:
They may not show bias towards or against any potential buyers and are legally required to pass on any offer a buyer makes to the seller.
