Can't believe that I ordered a utility tent mid afternoon on Tuesday and it arrived just after 12.00 on Wednesday. What brilliant service. The estimated delivery day was Friday so we were very pleasantly surprised. Well done Glossop.

Ever helpful even when I rang with silly questions! Started dealing with Glossop last year when we bought a 'Drive Away' awning tent. I been speaking just now with them again and they are so helpful!

We purchased a Dorema air awning recently. The awning is fantastic and greatly designed. Air awnings definitely seem the way forward as they are so easy to put up.
Their website is very easy to use and gives all dimensions and specifics. The awning arrived the very next day which was brilliant.

After being let down when our awning didn't arrive, they gave us another, more expensive one in place of it

Dominic handled my enquiries professionally, but the delivery wasn’t the best. My awning was in 2 packages, 1 arrived by TNT on Friday, the driver said 2nd package was in another truck. It finally arrived Monday by another company.

Dominic was exceedingly helpful and kind helping me to decide what the best awning for my motorhome would be. Free post and packing was a bonus!

Excellent service, I gave Dominic the make, year and model or our new to us caravan, he was able to recommend what size awning we needed. I chose an ex-display one and a very reasonable price, it arrived the very next day and free p & p. We tried the awning on the caravan last weekend and it’s spot on! I would highly recommend them!

Excellent service. We ordered a groundsheet from Scott over the telephone after superb advice on what one to get for our awning. It was delivered within 24 hours.

Wow, we have had wonderful service from this company who did everything they said they would and more!

We purchased a caravan awning, Vango Maldives, from the company, back in December 2020. Because of Covid restrictions etc it was only used twice but it developed faults and finally the stitching between the roof panel and the awning connection strip gave way. This was not Glossops fault obviously but clearly a manufacturing issue. The main fault it had prior to this was water pooling in the roof due to a design fault.

Glossops arranged to uplift the awning by courier although there was a slight hitch with this as the company did not turn up on the day arranged. This was during the 'pingdemic' so we understood this. We arranged our own courier at great expense and Glossops covered the extra cost of this without question.

Glossops also allowed us to change model and manufacturer and refunded the difference in cost.

We now have our brand new awning and are extremely grateful to Glossops for their assistance in this matter.

We expected to have a fight on our hands to get a refund but it was straight forward and I guess that Glossops will now be dealing directly with Vango. Not our problem!

Use Glossops for awning purchases but do not buy a Vango Maldives

I purchased a Vango Varkala Connect 2 360
Awning package from here a while back specifically for our summer holiday this year. We did a test run with the awning which tore on day 2 and after sending photographs to Glossop Awnings, the said it looked as if there was a fault with the stitching and it needed to be returned to Vango for repair with a 4-6 week turnaround exactly 6 weeks before we were due to depart. I was told on three separate occasions that a courier had been arranged and stayed in all day on these three occasions but the awning wasn’t collected so I called the courier myself who confirmed no request to collect had ever been made. It was finally collected after two weeks and I was told they would mark it as urgent but here we are a week before we are due to go away on the holiday the awning was purchased for and I am getting the same ‘I will chase Vango up’ responses and still no sign of my awning being returned. The service I have received has been atrocious and I recommend steering well clear of both Glossop Awnings and Vango products. It looks as if we will be spending our summer holiday sitting in the rain several hundreds of pounds out of pocket!

Total joke!
Bought a Valari 420 with awning carpet, awning arrived with no Carpet as supplier had ran out, ended up having to pay over the odds from another supplier after 6 weeks of emails!

Opened the awning, missing skirt, leaking roof and after 1 use, torn stitching at the side which is not Glossops fault but what is their fault is the shocking after sales service being nonexistent, got MasterCard on the case to resolve now!

Pay the extra £20 to buy elsewhere is my advice!

First off, they are a bit of a nightmare to get hold of on the phone, but that said once I got talking to Dom, he was great, suggested a different awning as the one I wanted wasn't in stock, this was a lot cheaper and a better option for us, delivery was only 2 days, super happy with the service from these guys, definitely use them again.

I placed 2 offers for a couple of camping chairs on their ebay account, both of which were ignored. When I emailed them to ask why no one had the decency to even respond, they told be that it was due to them being busy but they had excepted my offer. I can appreciate that they are busy as most online retailers are, but what I don't like is the fact that they lied. I had to put my offer back on ebay, thinking great, only to find that they declined it and asked for more money. Not very happy and certainly won't be using them in the future.

Was looking to purchase a new Caravan Awning. Spoke to Scott Flanagan. He was the most helpful and knowledgeable person I could have wished for. He gave me all the right info, and a price that couldn't be beaten, ANYWHERE. If you want to be treated like you think you should, call Glossop Caravans. Superb Company.

Item ordered, and money taken, with 3-5 day delivery. One week later no product. Checked with online support, just vague message about needing to check with manufacturer tomorrow. Then waited 20 minutes for a reply, nothing. Whats the point of online chat if you stop talking?
So, buyer beware they will sell you things they dont even have. So if you need them within 2 weeks, like we did. No chance.

This company sells on ebay in their listing they state that they have the items in stocks and that delivery is within 2 days. We later found out that they didn't have what we had paid for and we are still waiting a week later. Finally after speaking with them, on chat, we have now been told it will take another week before we are likely to receive our items. However, they are still selling them on ebay stating a 2 day delivery slot.
