Some readers may have seen my previous posts outlining my issues and my remedy. The 5 Stars actually go to Paul, Global's NEW Customer Service Manager. Outstanding! Very Professional! Took the time to listen, read my letter, emailed at the same time so I had his contact details. Full Refund was in my bank within 60mins. 5* Goes to Paul. I will add that this is not a scam review, you can go back to my past reviews to see that. I am confident that given a little patience Paul will review all complaints and fingers crossed everybody else gets the same result. Knowing Paul is at the helm now, I have renewed confidence in bidding on Global auctions although I will wait a little. It would be remiss of me to not mention Paul's Boss who approved the refund within a very short time, practically 20 mins or less. I hope this is evidence that Global is turning over a new leaf when it comes to customer service and concerns. Paul. Diamond Geezer! 1 Vert Happy Soldier!

Still waiting for goods since 11 th Jan. Usual excuses from Claire but no response or refund. Small claims court now....completed the form online. Will not let this go till i receive a refund.

It is a total SCAM. Do not have any business with them. I been ripped off.

It's extremely disappointing that you can't give lower than a 1 score.
My first time dealing with Global Auctioneers, wow what a horribly run company. I was one day late paying my £300+ invoice back on the 28th Dec 2021, & the warning emails I received with all the 'your late' messages in big RED writing was nuts.
I contacted them to apologise & pay, they then sent me the same invoice but this time for £500+, I was obviously confused so contacted them which took a while. They said that's including delivery so to take off the payment I'd already made & pay the rest, why not just send me an invoice for the delivery payment, which was high for all I bought imo 🤔.
So all sorted YES? not a chance bcz as of today 17th Feb 2022 I still have not received my goods. I have sent approx 10 emails which they do not reply to, I have rang them over 70 times bcz most of the time they pick up the phone & then hang-up. On the 15 or so calls they did answer I seem to get the same customer service agent named Claire 🤷‍♂️ and every single time Claire said the same thing "I will have this investigated & get back to you'.
How dare I ask why she had not gotten back to me on all the other occasions, she was not happy & pretended not to know anything about my issue 🤬. Now they tell me they have found my order but a few of the lots are lost or damaged. I have asked for a total refund during every call & some emails, they seem to ignore my request. Apparently this issue is not of their doing, its bcz of Covid and staff shortages.
Staff shortages does not explain why a customer has to explain the issue 20+ times just to be told we'll get back to you but not once did they return a call. My order was sitting in their storage unit but nobody could be even bothered even looking, another company that just passes the blame on another department.

Anyway this is turning into a novel never mind a review 😂 I will finish by saying, 'If you decide to still go forward and deal with Global Auctioneers after this, I wish you luck but remember you were warned'.

Scam. Sent something i didn't want , swapped pallets and also pallet which I did pay for didn't arrive.

They don't reply to emails, customer service is shocking. Avoid at all costs.

Shocking company. On 11th Jan I won my items!!! Received today 15th Feb. No one answers the phones and their inboxes are always full. They do not return your emails either. So products I won: Eaziglide Neverstick2 Sautee Pan, Eaziglide Neverstick Large Frying Pan, Eaziglide Neverstick2 Saucepan With Lid And Boxed Cristal Arques Set Of 6 Wine Glasses
What I got: cheap frying pan that has been used. Not an Eaziglide as sold, set of three Eaziglide pans that have been used and are flaking, Eaziglide sautee pan no lid and two cheap champagne glasses but in a Waterford box.
SAVE your money guys. DO NOT be tempted.

Still trying to get issues resolved from September. I was asked for my bank details a week ago but nothing transferred. Have tried to ring and e-mail but no luck as usual. I removed a review last October relating to this at the request of a member of staff from Global auctions who promised to sort it out still not sorted. Previously when I got a refund which also took a lot of months, they said they had the wrong bank details a number of times then there were problems with the bank. They really will do anything to keep your money. Hopefully they will see this and refund me without me having to waste more time on calls and e-mails.

Got scammed by these filthy animals! Lost a grand, can't believe that such a companies still exist... without any trading standars or customer service... Multiple emails sent, Multiple phone calls made... no response whatsoever... no money no goods.... the worst thing is, can't get my money back, due I bought from them before without any issues.. AVOID!!!

Unfortunately I didn’t read these emails before buying from this company. Repeated phone calls and emails have been ignored.
Have reported to trading standards which I would advise other people do too if they have an issue, which from these reviews the majority do!

My bet is the company is either involved in something dodgy or is about to go bust. Whichever it is, don’t risk your money. Never experienced anything like it. Didn’t receive lot I’d won a few months ago. Have called multiple times to be fobbed off each time with a different excuse. No one ever got back to me when they said they would. All emails have been ignored also. A genuine business wouldn’t operate this way.

Please stay away from this company, listen to the previous people posting in here . I’ve been also scam and they are very rude they won’t give you money back from missing items . Since last year I wait for a refund .

if i had No star option i would select that.. i paid for my auction 3 weeks ago, but no one is answering after that no email response nothing.

Purchased a pallet over 2 months ago and still has not arrived. Continually call the company who barely answer. The one time they did, the receptionist was very rude and laughed at the fact that my parcel has not arrived. This company is a SCAM! AVOID at all costs!

I won 3 different auctions. They asked for the money ASAP. This was last December 15th.
I have contacted the company several times they don't answer their phone and keep promising they will get in touch when I email them. They got hundreds of pounds. I want my money back otherwise I'll be going to the trading standards.

We are first time bidders and I hadn’t read any reviews about the company.
Having won 4 (unseen) pallets, I was nervous as to what to expect but when we arrived to collect, we met Danny. He was so helpful and understanding when it came to working out taking all out goods home in a Honda Jazz! After a couple of trips, we had all out goods home! Some great bits and other bits not so good but that was to be expected!
I am sure we will be back! Thank you Danny!

won several items in early January and promptly paid for those and requested a shipping quote.
Shipping came back at an extortionate cost, but since I had committed already I went ahead and paid for shipping even though I wasn't happy with how much it was.
A few hours later I am being called up and harassed to pay for shipping at which point I politely let them know I had paid earlier that same day.
Fast forward to early February. Can't get through to them on the phone at all and their message mailbox is being reported as full.
Was told several times over the phone at the end of January that they would look into whats going on and call me back, this hasnt happened.
They have also stopped responding to any emails I am sending through, last response I had from them was Jan 13th.
Because I paid with bank transfer I am unable to claim the money back through my bank so I have nothing I can do in order to make any progress except share the experience with this company in as many places as I can.

Wish I could give less!
No one answers the phone or replies to emails once you've paid them. They don't bother to reply to shipping emails or information requests I even contacted them before the auction finished to get an appraisal and there was no response. If you don't pay instantly THEN somehow, magically there are people in the business who will hound you and lie to you at every step of the way till you part with your money. Once that's done..... you'll be hard pressed to get someone on the phone or to reply to an email. Customer service is an absolute joke! I had Lorraine calling me.multiple times of the day chasing payment and blatantly lying about the shipping telling me her directors have approved things when they haven't!
This company is a complete waste of time unless you want to have a huge headache.
Plus the items they sell with the huge charges isn't THAT much cheaper than buying the item new in a sale!
I will never ever use this crap company again.

I have had many transactions with Global Auctioneers. I have received delivery of goods which I am very happy with. I fully accept that many of the goods are returns and not brand new and may even need repair. I have no qualms about the products.
My gripe is with invoices/lots that have been paid for, within the strict timeframes, but no delivery has been received, or only part delivery received. For one auction I have requested a delivery quote (within the strict timeframe, having paid the initial invoice in full) and not received one.
I would happily give this auction house 5 stars if the outstanding issues get sorted quickly.
If not, I guess I will be joining the 1 star brigade and well.... watch this space!

FURTHER UPDATE
I’d change to 0 Stars if I could. To further the dishonesty Global Auctioneers tried to get my review removed. I’ve verified it so it will be staying. Also I still haven’t received my missing item from Dec 2021.

UPDATE
I'm changing this to 1 star as I've received a call out of the blue 10 days ago saying they have seen my Trustpilot review and will dispatch the best most expensive replacement item they have in stock the very next day. Guess what? still nothing received.

Items received were all very good however I had to chase and chase the delivery of the items like some other reviewers. Over 4 weeks is unacceptable I’m afraid and for that reason alone I won’t use this company again. I also have a missing item from one of my 2 deliveries and have emailed 4 week ago and 2 week ago and also called them but there is no response which is frustrating. Like it’s been said in another review I think it will be a claim in court to reclaim loss on that. Sad really because the items I have bought and received are decent
