Do not buy from this auction house!!! They lie, they tell you things to get you off the phone and never return your calls. They don’t reply to emails.
Goods are damaged in transit after charging an extortionate amount of postage fees and they push you to then sort it yourself with the courier!
A month in and still no response from the company.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Staff lie over the phone and to your face. They ignore your emails and sell damaged products. They’re quick to take your money, but ignore issues and complaints. Do not deal with these con artists. Spend your money elsewhere. Dishonest. Unreliable. Unprofessional.

I have bought a few items from Global, some have arrived perfectly, however I won a child seat which never arrived, I bought a lamp which did arrive but was smashed and most recently I won a radiator in Jan and it hasn’t arrived at all. I have sent many emails which have been ignored, I have requested an refund, again ignored, it’s very frustrating, especially when they insist payment within 48 hours and I have waited 2 months for a delivery which has never arrived 🤬

Scamers!!! Dont buy here, wrong description, wrong items and every single one is broken!!!!

I have had the same issues other people wrote about on here no answer to my E Mails, phone calls too numerous to mention not answered, when eventually got through I trusted what I had been told but to no avail. I bought and paid for the goods and shipping straight away 8th February. But I finally got through to Paul and in fairness to him he sorted out my problem, apologised explained they had lost a lot of staff but now they were all replaced and they were busy rectifying all problems. A week later my money was back in my account. I see here on trust pilot all complaints are been answered so do Email the person. I don't know what there problems were but they do seem to be trying to sort out people who have concerns so I say persevere, frustrating was not the word but Thank You Paul for reinstating my faith in human nature again

I Bid and won a set of tefal saucepans at the end of january, I paid the price I was asked to pay and delivery charges twice because I thought I had not paid the first payment when global asked a second time. they then asked a three time for the delivery charges
I sent a number of emails explaining that I had paid twice by accident for hammer and delivery price and
have tried to ring and left messages butI have not heard from them , nor Have been refunded my money or received the goods how can a business do this , the service is zero and what made it worse I saw what looked like the item I had won on the site the following week , My next port of call will be the Trading Standards for their advice I dont think they deserve one star but I had to put something

Won items & swiftly paid for lots and shipping. 1 month on, 28 phone calls and numerous emails later I have received no items. Communication and customer service is awful. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Same as all other negative experiences. Issued Small Claim proceedings, paid in full plus interest and costs the next day. Seems like the only way to resolve matters with these people.

Won a bag at an auction in early December 2021. Sent numerous emails to them they failed to respond ignoring them in fact stating I have not received the bag which was a gift for someone. The levels of customer service are beyond a joke and as far as I am concerned they stole my item. I have taken them to Small Claims Court which is the very least they deserve.

I Feel it's only right that I come back and let everyone know that although it took a while I DID eventually get the refund, so while I stand by my reviews, everything I said was true, I guess they are trying to resolve things. 'Bev' did look into things as promised and I did get refunded. I think they are trying to do the right thing at last so be patient and give them a chance.

Don't be fooled by them, they are not trying to resolve any issues, I have tried emailing and phoning again today, emails still bouncing back and phone still not being answered, I have emailed so many times asking them to call me and sort out my issues.... all emails ignored, I have today emailed IBIDDER again asking them to chase things up. The worst company to deal with ..... take peoples money then IGNORE them ... WHO DOES THAT??? people with NO MORALS!!!

I won few items on the 28/12/21 and paid in full next day I am still waiting for my items I call them everday and I was told it will be sent tomorrow but they never arrived then the stopped receiving calls and no reply to emails
Today is 2/3/22 and I am still waiting they are giving too much stress to their customers I hope they will refund everybody’s money

Got to say I am bitterly disappointed with Global Auctioneers

My pallet arrived today wrong items on the pallet plus missing items on the pallet and to add insult to injury 70% of the goods have been broken beyond any kind of repair either at the Warehouse or in transit via the Courier
Customer service is dreadful when you call its just Hello no introduction that they are Global Auctioneers and they will not give you there name

In all a truly dreadful experience with this company I am not holding my breathe for some kind of refund

AVOID like the plague. Several weeks since paying for our items + delivery we still haven't received anything. Have sent several emails, made several phone calls, left voice messages and have received no response and no refund. They have effectively stolen over £200 from us. I wish we had checked Trust Pilot reviews beforehand, as would could have avoided being scammed by these fraudsters. I would give them zero stars if that was possible. Avoid avoid avoid!!

Wish I had checked out Trust Pilot before bidding for an item being advertised in an online auction by Global Auctioneers of Manchester. A thoroughly untrustworthy and shady organisation to put it mildly.

I bid on a coffee machine and secured the winning bid. I quickly got a sales invoice accompanied by their thoroughly unpleasant “Warning” stating that I had just 17 hours to transfer funds into their account or I would be charged an admin fee of 20% and a third party debt collection agency would be commissioned to recover the outstanding debt.

These threats were followed up with a reminder email stating:

Do not ignore this email as it will quickly escalate from you being banned from bidding/buying from Global Auctioneers to being banned from all Auctions using the I-Bidder platform. At this stage we are just trying to clear you from our arrears list and release your goods.

You have entered into a legally binding contract when you agreed to our terms and conditions. If the invoice isn't paid then the debt will be passed to a 3rd party debt collection agency who will add an 8% fee. Warning – this may affect your credit rating and you may end up with a CCJ.

I declined to make payment until they quoted me a shipping quotation for the winning lot. This was done via phone and email. Nothing came. They claim all quotations for shipping will follow within 48 hours of request, conveniently past their payment deadline.

Finally, despite all my emails, messages and phone calls being ignored and the fact that I did not cave in to their threats I received an amended invoice which included shipping, a week later, accompanied by the same usual threats.

I paid the invoice and shipping. Machine was delivered and, yes you guessed it, did not work.

I can only recommend that you follow suit and blacklist this company, they give not one jot about customer service and appear solely interested in fleecing buyers for what they can get, in the shortest possible time.

STAY MILES AWAY FROM THEM.
THEY STEAL MONEY. AFTER 1 MONTH AND AN HALF WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR THE ITEM/REFUND.
ALL THE STAFF GUARANTEE YOU THAT THEY WILL PROCESS THE REFUND STRAIGHT AWAY BUT NOTHING IS DONE. NO MONEY. THEY DO NOT REPLY TO EMAILS AND THEY DO NOT ANSWER TO THE PHONE CALLS. AWFUL!!!!! WE WILL REPORT WHAT HAPPENED TO THE POLICE.

Scammers!!! Do not but anything from this company. I won and paid for an auction plus shipping on 4th Nov 2021. Won a coffee machine £257 below RRP arrived today had been used clearly but cleaned up as new works brill service was good responded to FB messages arrived promptly please ask for condition of item as I did got what I expected after little work looks like new cheers

This must be the most dishonest company I have ever dealt with.
In the first instance they are bidding up their own items...against the law. This is obvious as I have bid on several items and as soon as I stop bidding the very next bid wins....But the identical item appears in their next auction.
None of the items..if you win them are anything like customer returns. They are all fully damaged. They might say boxed but they are not boxed as a customer return would be.
First time bid won 3 items, delivered eventually one item missing. When I managed to get through after 3 days by telephone. No answer goes to answer phone which says mailbox full. They said item would be sent that was 23 January still waiting.
In the interim I won a second auction. This item was sent in its retail box with no ineer packaging so was loose in box. Wrapped in thin bin bag type polythene. Of course damaged beyond repair.
Now not answering the phone at all just answer phone which goes to full mailbox message.
Message to Global Auctions I will not let this lie take note.

How on earth can a business you've rated 1 star deserve a 5 star review because even though you were messed around and had bad service, a new manager gave ok service in the end. How does that make sense? They still provided you with a terrible service to begin with.

It's a terrible company that has awful terms, awful payment processes (especially with regards to postage. Email for a quote, get quote email, pay it. Very odd, should be postage quotes with invoice).

They really don't care how they treat people. I was legitimately ripped off by global. As mentioned, I did a fragrance purchase from them. Some were smashed in the post. Ultimately they, through no control of my own, used a courier that won't compensate for glass fragrance bottles that are not new in sealed boxes, and even then, only a certain number per package are covered.

After the insurance wouldn't pay out. They cut all contact with me and never responded again, costing me over £50 for the damaged fragrances.

Awful being ignored especially as I didn't know what courier they were going to use. They offer the postal service so it's their responsibility to make sure what they send is covered in case of damages.

Their mistake and yet it was me out of pocket.

I really do advise others to take them to court if they've ripped you off. I was going to but for £50 it's just not worth my time. I can assure you though, they've lost at least £7000 of my custom though since then as I will just never ever spend a penny with global auctions again.
