An unscrupulous and unprofessional company in my opinion. I bought 3 factory sealed barbecue side tables and because they were factory sealed I couldn't see inside the box so trusted the photo on their online auction website. However, my purchase turned out to be a completely different item than the one in the description, a complete misrepresentation of goods but was refused a refund as apparently I should have checked them before leaving the premises, but how when they were factory sealed was this possible? There was a small cartoon like picture on the side of the box that I didn't notice but the blame was still laid at my feet for not spotting it and not at the employees for not spotting it either, therefore uploading the wrong photos.
I asked to see the boss but the coward wouldn't come out and talk to me, instead letting a member of staff do the dirty work.
The employee who uploaded the photos for my items clearly made an advertising mistake and I've had to pay for their mistake with unwanted goods. So it transpires that if I purchase a factory sealed TV, and there is a photo of a TV in the description, then upon opening the box it turns out to be a rowing machine, apparently its my fault for not opening the box. They actually confirmed that when I put it to them!
Needless to say there was no gesture of goodwill to refund me, they simply didn't give a toss. They don't return phone calls or emails - customer service is appalling.
It just isn't an ethical way to do business if you have to watch your back at every twist and turn in order to not get scammed by their misleading tactics. If you cant trust the people with whom you're spending money then it's time to call it a day. It has to be said though that some of the staff in the warehouse are very nice, its company policy which fails the customer along with an unreliable uploader of auction photos.
On a final note, I was also falsely accused for the second time of not collecting my purchases and so a charge of £25 per day for storage would be incurred. (Very sloppy accounting.)
Goodbye Global Auctioneers, I won't deal with a clown of a company who has no respect for its customers.

When I arrived I was given my items and not offered a way of checking them. Told to take them to my car because they were busy.
When I got home a started checking them to see if they worked.
Hoover not working!!
Cordless hoover caught fire!!
3 John Lewis kettles Not working!!
John Lewis coffee machines not working!!!
Toaster guess what??? Not working!!
Wish I had checked trustpilot first.
Absolutely shocking items.
Spent a lot of money with them.
Asked (email/phone) for an explanation as to why everything they either didn't work and in one case caught fire without reply!!??
I have decided to throw them all in the bin as I can't trust them to be safe to move on!!!!
Shocking this is allowed to happen!!!

I had a problem with goods that l purchased and went to collect.
Melisa Supervisor took the time to rectify the situation amicable. She and two of her staff showed great customer service skills in doing so, she saved the day.

Its 2.5 months since that they confirmed that they sold used items as new and confirmed that they will refund £137.80

Abhorrent in pretty much every facet. If you don't get cheated or scammed, you got lucky. Customer service is horrible too, getting ignored mid exchange

My first time bidding and won an item for £12. It has cost me a total of £37 for charges and postage. Lesson learnt and I won't be buying again.

Never use bought a ninja multi cooker says new, send unboxed, very dirty item called them , accepted wrong item was sent and l requested for a refund was given the run around. They wont answer the phone. Dropped them an email, come back saying the Manager is investigating the matter worst auctioneers in the world. PLEASE STAY AWAY THEY HAVE NOW TOTAL ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICES AND ARE SCAMMERS.
NOW YOU GUYS ARE TRYING TO CHANGE THE NARATIVE, THE COOKER NEVER CAME IN ORIGINAL BOX, WAS VERY DIRTY, GREASEY AND COVERED IN GRIME. ANY WAY LEARNT MY LESSON. Morning,
Bought a ninja multi cooker on the 11/12/21, boxed, then they was a problem locating the item, was then offered a refund but was informed that the warehouse had found the boxed multi cooker. I received a unboxed, very dirty, all scratch up with alot grime item. I paid for a boxed item, if the original boxed item cant be found then l deserve a full refund, this whole experience has greatly affected my business relationship with Global Auctioneers, was a loyal customer but now l have major reservations due to the way l have been treated during this transaction.

Dont bother The receptionist gives false Appraisals then when you email global auctioneers he doesnt do anything to admit his fault or issue a refund. I purshased a box of john lewis pans i had an appraisal done before hand which was emailed to me by the receptionist stating they are new. They werent even John lewis pans they were used circulion pans.

Update, this was pulled up on collection and we were told to email in with the problem. So there staff just simply lie, we were told they were new in the box which was false so the person who replied to this review lied once again.

Wors company I have ever dealt with. Won two separate auctions in two different times, paid for both, but never received any of the two orders.
Simply they take your money and send you nothing.
Stay away from them

bid on pallet suppose to contain £500 worth of garden and patio goods, Quoted £107 delivery i had a jerney of 1, 3/4 hrs to collect told the pallet had been robbed given alterative box full of broken items looked as though it was a dump box, no apologies just excuses dont use

Rarely leave bad reviews online. It can be too easy to rush to complain. But this company has terrible customer service.

Do not rely on the online descriptions, photos, or that you will receive the goods you have paid for.

I really feel sorry for the young staff on reception who must have to deal with the brunt of customer complaints.

I won’t be a return customer.

Hi purchased from here it was broken
I asked for a appraisal and I got staff to check the item they said like new when arriving I asked the girl to also check the item before I signed for it and she then confirmed it was all there and new
Got home the battery was missing and the item was not new I have sent away for the part (battery ) realy nice staff on desk but manager said first have u had appraisal

Lie and she then said because I signed it is my fault

Wrong items sent, photos of incorrect items delivered sent, one reply to say they are looking into it, 3 more emails and 3 phone calls later and they still haven’t refunded me or even picked up the wrong items

The good aren’t as described and if you buy anything ever always ask for an appraisal as they say without this they aren’t liable for incorrectly delivered items. Suggestion is inundate them with appraisal requests.

Total scam

Won an item from the Global auctioneers and paid for the invoice within hours. Assuming the delivery was included in the initial invoice I waited for item to arrive but I never received it. Some days later I enquired and they told me that the item was relotted and they won't give me any refunds .
They never sent me any reminder to pay for the postage or to collect the item. They simply relotted it. Very disappointed in their treatment of their customers.
If I had not paid the invoice they would definitely contact me but since I had already paid them they ignored me.
Will not be bidding on their items again. Avoid them as they are only interested in your money nothing else matter to them.

BUYER BEWARE

This company is breaking all the rules. Misleading customers on delivery costs (which are extortionate), taking money off 'registered' cards without consent (you will be charged to register for the auction which gives them access to your payment card), slow communication until you reach the payment deadline but then followed up by threatening emails and repeated harassment by telephone, failure to properly set out the terms and conditions...the list goes on. They are truly awful and I hope by reporting them to trading standards they will be forced to put their systems right.

In the meantime I warn any potential customer to steer clear of these complete charlatans.

I've been lucky and able to retrieve the money back through my bank but others might not be as fortunate.

Even after all this, I am being harassed for payment of the full amount for the cancelled transaction by a company called ATG Media, to whom my 'non-payment' has been referred.
