Love Garmentory bc I can shop small retailers and brands I wouldn’t normally find on one site. Often free shipping with min orders. Great filters, good sales. Happy shopper!

I ordered some pricey t-shirts from Garmentory, which never arrived. When I informed them I had not received the order, it took them three weeks to submit a claim to the shipper (UPS) and did so only after I specifically insisted. And this is after they charged extra for “shipping insurance.” They now say they will only give a refund if the shipper approves the claim. It’s been 5 weeks with the charge in my credit card with no merchandise to show for it and likely no refund coming. Completely unacceptable.

I was searching for a specific item on Google and found the item via Garmentory. I liked having the security of free returns in case it didn’t fit, and the item shipped quickly. I also discovered a new small business that I otherwise wouldn’t have found! Easy, seamless shopping experience.

I’ve ordered a lot of clothes online, but Garmentory has been by far the worst experience I’ve had. After placing a simple order for pants, I was shocked to receive an email asking me to send photos of my credit card AND my driver’s license to “verify” my purchase.

This is completely unacceptable for a basic clothing order – it felt invasive and unsafe. No other legitimate store I’ve ever shopped at (Blue Owl, Standard & Strange, Huckberry, etc.) has ever demanded this kind of personal information.

When I told them to cancel my order and delete my account, I received a canned response that didn’t even confirm the cancellation. Overall, the whole process felt clumsy, unprofessional, and honestly sketchy.

I ended up buying from another retailer with zero issues. I will never shop Garmentory again and would strongly warn others to think twice before placing an order here.

Don’t buy anything from their store.
For some products, they don’t ship from US, so the customer has to pay the duty tax as well as the sales tax and international shipping cost.
Eventually, you have to pay much more than you think.
Just buy something from real US store, not from who claims as US store.

I'm on my feet 12 hours a day, and was looking for a comfortable shoe to support my high arch. These shoes are amazing,like walking on a cloud. The ordering was easy and the shipping was quick. I only gave 4 stars because of the the no return/refund policy.

Horrible. Dressed arrived shrunken and wrinkled. Extremely restrictive return policy. Dishonest. Lied to me about an unworn item returned with tags within the specified time period (e.g. two hours after received). I will never order from Garmentory or their boutiques again.

My second purchase on Garmentory that took me many months to actually get to the point purchase off the website....now I'm hooked. It is so convenient to find small businesses from all over the world in one place. Very happy with my purchase and will continue to shop on Garmentory.

I’m having a difficult experience with an overseas order I made with an obvious item value error and do not feel like I’m getting much help. It appears the shipper over valued the item on the import duty document by 1000.00, and so the import duty is larger than the value of the clothing. It’s been held up at DHL for two weeks and all I keep getting are emails from Garmentory that they are working with the merchant. I’ve contacted DHL myself and they said it’s a simple enough solve if the merchant reaches out to them. Garmentory at one point had the audacity to say I just pay the incorrect import duty. I don’t feel like I’m getting much support from them.

I purchased a cashmere sweater from Garmentory, supplied from the SHOWROOM boutique (Charlotte, NC, United States). The sweater was discounted and marked as "final sale", however the item was supposed to be in new condition. The sweater arrived with animal hairs, piling, and, worst of all, reeking of synthetic perfume. The item had clearly not just been tried on, but worn for some time. The damage was documented, photographed and emailed to Garmentory within one hour of delivery. Showroom made the preposterous claim that the item had "never been tried on", and Garmentory came up with the ridiculous explanation that "we believe it could have been another package with the carrier that might have rubbed off a scent on the sweater". No explanation for the piling or animal hairs was provided.

Garmentory repeatedly refused a refund for a misrepresented item, and was willing to offer only a contribution towards the drycleaning bill.

Refusing a refund for a misrepresented item is illegal according to Australian Consumer Law, and probably the consumer law of many other countries.

I will never be purchasing from Garmentory again as a result of this experience, and my recommendation for shoppers looking for a hassle-free experience is to go elsewhere.
