Excellent customer service from Kami at the Gillingham store. Very helpful and took his time helping us choose the right sofa and accessories.

Having previously purchased a particular mattress from FV I wanted another, but of course 2 1/2 yrs on the names / descriptions are all different. Tom at the Gillingham branch guided me to the current equivalent of what I had previously purchased and carried out the purchase process in a professional and friendly manner, explaining each stage of what happens next through to the point of delivery.

We went there looking for mattresse and because of the variety we ended up buying a bed frame as well. Tom saw us looking around and asked if we needed assistance. Which we did he gave us a lot of information on product we bought.
He was very professional and would recommend furniture village to friends and family

We ordered a suite on 27th April 2026 and were told our furniture would take "12 to 13 weeks" to be ready, but it was actually ready to be delivered within just over 10 weeks, which was a welcome bonus. However, the phone call from a lady at the delivery company advised that our delivery would be on "Sunday the 4th July 2026" and we had to point out that date didn't exist! We then established that we should expect our delivery on Saturday 4th July 2026 and that we would receive an e-mail THE DAY BEFORE giving us an ETA. No e-mail had been forthcoming on Friday 3rd July 2026, so I decided that I would call Furniture Village the following morning to find out what was happening. I woke up @ 09:30 the following morning to discover that I had been e-mailed @ 06:28 to tell me the delivery was on its way and would arrive "between 09:13 & 12:13" that day. It arrived @ 09:18, which meant I had missed the delivery by 12 minutes. I contacted the delivery company, who had e-mailed me as a result of the "failed" delivery, and explained that it was unreasoble to e-mail a customer @ 06:28 on a Saturday morning and expect them to be up and around to see it. Despite this, I was unable to arrange for the driver to come back and the furniture couldn't be delivered for another three days; Tuesday 7th July 2026. The two men who delivered and assembled the suite were extremely polite, conscientious and diligent. Unfortunately, after they left we established that the wireless charging pad on our sofa didn't work, so we had to arrange for someone to come and repair it. Unfortunately Furniture Village don't use their own technicians and a third-pary technician arrived three days later (Friday 10th July 2026) who couldn't fix the issue. We now have to wait for a replacement component to be delivered to us and then arrange another visit from a technician to fit it. We paid Furniture Village for our suite but had to deal with a third-party company for the delivery of it and for the attempted repair. Way too much hassle and incovenience for a £5,600 sofa!

Ordering my sofa from Furniture Village was a really smooth and straightforward experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the ordering process was easy from start to finish. I'm very happy with the service and I’m looking forward to receiving my new sofa.

The sales rep was very helpful and very friendly the picture we purchased had a defect in the frame we asked the salesman did he have any more? He said no worries I can order you one straight from our warehouse straight to your door. we are so glad to have one that wasn’t damaged. so our experience was excellent.

The sales assistant, Alif, was really very helpful. He wasn’t at all pushy but went out of his way to help us find what we needed. He helped us choose colours and went out of his way to help us.

We visited Furniture Village to look at sofas and beds, they have amazing, beautiful furniture. Great choice if you’re looking for new furniture. The first time we went just to have a look, we were greeted by Mr Alif, and he was incredibly helpful and answered all of our questions. Next time we visited, Mr Alif remembered us from before which was wholesome. When we selected the sofas we liked, Mr Alif supported us massively, his patience and service was excellent! He honestly made our experience much more valuable and enjoyable so thank you so much for him, we cannot wait to get our new sofas in safe hands!

Very helpful

When entering the store we was welcomed by Kami.
While having a look round Kami asked us if we would like a cup of coffee which we excepted.
Once we had chosen what we would like, Kami went through everything with us and explained the process of the order.
All in all Kami was very knowledgeable and helpful.
He also explained that it was a British family owned business which we was unaware of.😊

We had a very pleasant experience buying our sofas from Furniture Village. Alif was so efficient and helpful, nothing was too much bother. We had no pressure with the sale, which made it really easy. We will definitely be going back and will recommend to Friends and Relatives - Thank you !!!

Gino the sales associate was incredible. Didn’t push things outside our budget and was externally friendly, we found our perfect bed mattress and pillows and was very accommodating. I was in a wheelchair and the shop was very easy to manoeuvre around overall a great experience
