Possibly one of the worst complaint processes I’ve ever experienced. They completely ignore direct questions and do not follow through on what they agree to over email. Be incredibly cautious: what they put in writing in an email response does not match what they actually agree to or action on their App. Untrustworthy and frustrating.

I was offered a discount at Sports Direct if I used Frasers Plus. Since I already had an account, I used it and paid the entire balance off just an hour later. Even though my balance was £0, the app informed me that I would owe £31 in interest the following month!It turns out Frasers Plus automatically defaults your purchases to their longest, highest-interest payment plan (up to 36 months) rather than a 0% option. If you pay it off early without diving into the settings to manually change the plan type first, the app treats your payment as "paying ahead" and still tries to milk you for the pre-calculated interest.
This is predatory, misleading, and the exact opposite of responsible lending. It is clearly designed to trap busy people who don't check their app immediately after a purchase. I have successfully fixed the glitch and closed my account permanently. If you use this service, check your instalment settings immediately or vote with your feet like I did!

We'd like to clarify that customers can choose from a range of available repayment plans after making a purchase, including interest-free options where eligible. The repayment plan selected for a purchase, along with any applicable interest and repayment information, is displayed within the app and account documentation.
If a customer chooses to repay their purchase early, interest is not charged on future periods that have not yet elapsed. We're therefore concerned to hear about your experience and would welcome the opportunity to review the details of your account and explain what occurred.

Avoid. Not a Good Service.
The app is ridiculously hard to work out what you’ve paid, what you owe etc. My limit was changed with no warning from £2500 to £490 despite no missed payments and only £430 on the account. I asked THREE times for a settlement figure to close the account, never received one, had to work it out myself. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

We'd like to clarify that when a payment is missed and an account falls into arrears, a late payment fee may be applied in line with the terms of the agreement. In these circumstances, purchases may also be automatically moved to a repayment plan that includes interest. I was forced to be with them via an old studio account, for a 288 pound studio bill they are now charging me 906 pound and 173 a month, horrible company it is saying 49 percent apr - I would of genuinely just paid the amount off in full - if I had known wouldn’t recommend them to anyone this has really upset me as I have never been careless financially and now I’m stuck in a debt I shouldn’t really owe causing me stress

Customer Support is awful and slow.
I signed up to Fraser Plus to get a 10% discount on 2 e-bikes which was great! Unfortunately the customer service is so slow and painfull. I think your reward points get added 35 days after a purchase. I gave them 45 days for my points to appear but nothing. I used the customer service messaging in the Fraser Plus app and it's a standard week for a reply! Also the chat bot is incredibly frustrating with pointless answers!

Check your repayment. Fraser plus double charge. They went into a payed off account to start taking money from that account again. I am very angry and ashamed for such a disgusting behaviour from a company. They shamelessly reopened closed accounts when I cleared the recent balance after a long time of not using them. I thought it’s no point paying installments and I cleared the balance . Who checks this kind of company.

Frasers plus have affected my credit rating through no fault of my own
So after my first review and complaint being made im still waiting over a month for any response. And now my credit score has taken a dive by 110 points because of frasers im fuming I want this rectified today and my credit file to be updated.

Following on from my last review. It wasn't a case of refund not be remitted or not being available. It is a case of Fraser plus holding on to my money for no unjustifiable reason. Extremely poor customer service
Extremely poor customer services and an unprofessional company.
They give you the option to pay manually or direct debit but if you pay manually they will still take the direct debit for the same payment that you manually paid for by putting you either in debt or right out of pocket in certain circumstances.
They compulsively lie to you by saying that they will refund you the double payment but never actually do it at all!
I would AVOID these people at all costs because they are pretty deceptive for no apparent reason…
Just to add to their reply to this,
I had to contact them twice regarding this situation and I was promised a refund on both occasions and now a whole entire month has passed, there is absolutely no point in the refund and they know this and they know what they’re doing here.
They are even at it on trust pilot which proves my point entirely…

Direct Debit payments are requested from banks 8 working days before the payment due date. Because of this, if a manual payment is made after the Direct Debit request has already been requested, unfortunately we are unable to stop the Direct Debit payment from being collected. This is due to the timescales involved in the Direct Debit process and is not something we can amend once the request has been sent to the bank.
If you believe a Direct Debit has been collected incorrectly, you may be able to request a Direct Debit chargeback directly through your bank under the Direct Debit Guarantee. We are also happy to review your account and discuss any refund that may be due.
We understand how frustrating this situation can be, particularly if it has impacted your finances, and we're sorry for any confusion caused. Please contact our Customer Service team via the in-app messaging service or online so we can investigate your specific circumstances further and provide any appropriate support.
Counterfeit bag from Flannels – Frasers Plus ignoring statutory Section 75 claim
I bought a luxury bag from Flannels using my Frasers Plus card, which has unfortunately been flagged as counterfeit. Flannels supplied a fake item, which is a severe breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.Because of this, I formally submitted a statutory Section 75 dispute to Frasers Plus on the 2nd of September. I provided every single piece of documentation and evidence they requested to prove the item is non-genuine. Despite having all the paperwork, Frasers Plus has gone completely radio silent and unresponsive.Since both Flannels and Frasers Plus are part of the exact same parent company (Frasers Group), it should not take this long to internally review a high-value fraud and counterfeit dispute. I am putting Frasers Plus on formal notice via this review. If my account is not placed on an immediate dispute hold and this claim acknowledged, I will be taking this directly to the Financial Ombudsman Service the moment my 8-week regulatory window expires.Unacceptable customer service for a regulated financial provider. Resolve this.
