The Frasers plus account is not fit for purpose, I am pretty tech savvy and I struggled to navigate it.
I paid off my purchase is full before the due date and due to the unclear nature of the app it tried to charge £50 in interest on a zero balance.
Please do not use, you will be just as frustrated as I am

I was a LONG standing Studio customer with quite a high credit limit and was switched to Fraser Plus.
Prior to the switch I was considering closing the account as not found Studio much good lately.
The swicth to Fraser Plus left the option of shopping elsewhere so though I would leave the account open with the larger credit limit.
Never missed a payment, have a good credit score, I log in to make the monthly payment which has never been missed in years, make the payment and then see the credit limit has dropped within an inch of what was due which was just under 100.00 due.
Nice to know this is how trust worthy, long term, reliable customers are treated.
Managed to actually get a person on the chat bubble and requested to close the account, I have to wiat until my monthly payment clears, switch the payment plans somehow or something and then pay the remaining 37.something pence and then ask to close the account.
I have never been so annoyed with a company before.
I really can't understand how they can treat their existing customers in such a way.

1 star because there’s no option for a zero. I will be taking you to the financial ombudsman as soon as it’s the 8 week period. I booked flight tickets using frasers plus - big mistake! Immediately I booked the flights I settled my frasers plus account balance and it was showing £0 owed by the next day. Didn’t get the rewards first of all. Then I couldn’t travel so cancelled the flight for a partial refund which was sent to my frasers plus account. Customer service said they don’t allow withdrawals so they will haave to refund the full flight amount back to my bank account and then i’ll have to balance my frasers plus account for the difference. Cool - did that same day i received the funds, these fraud stars then falsely added 2 missed payments to my credit report because according to them since I booked the flights in August and got a refund in November, it counts as my account being missed payments for August and September even though it was all paid up and only because the flights got refunded. Where if they would’ve just refunded the money the flight company paid into frasers plus this would all have been avoided! I am raging at the minute because now my credit score has a high negative impact of 2 missed payments when I have never missed a payment in my life on any account.

DO NOT USE! added in my payment details when set up the account, selected how many months i wanted to set up the payments for. Despite everything pointing towards setting up a direct debit- it does not. The payment did not come out automatically, you have to manually log in and make the payement but they do not tell you this. I have been charged a fee and will now mess up my credit score despite having the funds in my account, Its extremely misleading and does not work like klarna or other buy now pay later options out there. Very bad customer service, and by reading the other reviews on here lots of other customers have had similar experiences and potentially messed up there credit scores and had to pay higher fees than expected. They purposely want to catch you out!!!!

Paid 11.99 for next day delivery was sent wrong item paid 4.99 to return. Can I pay this off??? No!! Tried to close account, tried paying balance numerous times but keeps adding interest.now saying I owe 4.91 in interest. How?

I would give it a zero star. Despite paying what I owe, they put me on a 24 month payment plan and then gradually collect the money from what I have paid so they can make profit in interest. It’s a really bad organisation. Customer service did try but I am making a complaint if it’s not resolved I would be writing to the ombudsman. This is the worse app I have ever used.

If zero stars were allowed i would certainly give it to frasers plus. I paid my balance in full the day I got my goods, yet they are adding interest to a zero balance, do not get fooled by this company. There is no way to call them you have you fill in a tedious for which they ignore, I filled in several with no reply. You go on chat you talk to a Bot.
I'm now in contact with the financial ombudsman, definitely adding interest fraudulently to a zero balance. The goods were through studio frasers plus have taken over their payment. Fraudulent on every aspect when my bank statement shows my payment sent to them was the full balance.
Gowngraded Credit
Studio transferred my account to Frasersplus, as soon as they got my account they hike up the interest and then put me on the higher interest account and they was not way in changing it, I haven't purchase anything from Studio and received an email from Fraserplus advising the downgraded my credit, I know why because I am not buying anything, as you cannot speak to anyone I ve been emailing and I am still not more forward as now they advised the information they have doesn't correspond to the information they have, what a load of rubbish, Ombudsman can this company out. Absolutely disgraceful 😤

automatically applied 36 month credit without authority they then tried to make me believe I had no option but to pay over £100 (50%) in interest to close account before the first month was up! After saying I would go to an ombudsman she said I could go into app and change repayment plan to one payment plan and all interest gone! This company must be reported it is a scam imo!

Well I wish I had come here first before purchasing. You can never speak to a human, it's always a bot. I ordered a jumper and a pair of trainers in the sale. I thought I would try this Frasers service. The total was £371. Flannels sent me a duplicate order which was sent back immediately but not before generating a second 'loan' with Frasers. Eventually Flannels refunded the additional items but the interest on the loan remained. I now have had to pay almost £500 because I was backed into a corner and couldn't get hold of anyone at Flannels or Frasers, who would send harassing emails on even Christmas Day, demanding the items are paid for, the interest on both the kept and returned items to be paid, a negative score on my credit rating. I can not in good conscience recommend purchasing from Flannels and especially not using Frasers to spread the cost. You will not be able to get hold of anyone at all and they are not interested in humans or human error. They are run by bots. Or animals.
Unethical misleading payment plans
The advertising for Fraser Plus is very misleading when purchasing. Luckily I wasn't caught out, but I think many will be and this is what they are aiming for.
When making a purchase, it talks about 3 step payments, no interest, etc. but after paying by Frasers Plus it automatically puts you on the longest payment plan that gives a minimum £2 monthly payment, which incurs a significant amount of interest, unless you make an active choice to go into the app and change it to 1 or 3 months.
This isn't made clear at all in the payment page, and only by digging around into the detailed Ts&Cs within the app.
It has definitely been set up like this to maximise the chances many people will not realise. This feels completely unethical and bordering on fraudulent.

Just closed my account with them, I’m a working person with a solid income and they dropped my credit limit to 200.
If I want something thats 200 I can buy it outright so no point having this now.
Just find it strange how a working person can have limits lowered like this with no missed payments across all my credit while people I know who are on benefits have higher limits. I’ll stick to using my high limit credit cards if I want large purchases but won’t be buying from this company again.

It is a scam and Trap
It is a scam. It is a robbery, and I am impressed by how no one stops this company from stealing money from people. They advertised on Sport Direct that we can pay in 3 instalments without interest. I bout around £213 products and used this rubbish credit company. At the end of the month, I refunded the total money (less than 20 days). I realised that they selected a 36-month plan (without my selection or permission) on my account, which means I should pay £96 in interest on my purchase for that period. After spending a lot of time contacting them (only by chat and email because they have rubbish customer service), they asked me to pay around £7 extra as interest, because I selected a 36-month plan!!!!! (which I never selected).
It is a trap, a scam, and it is stealing money. BE CAREFUL and never use them.
Unbelievably poor service, the worst I’ve ever had from any company online or in store
Again I’ve had problems with this shambolic company, I’ve attempted to close my account 3 times and within 2 weeks the app resets and you have to attempt to close the account again, this company is fraudulent and need reporting urgently, they never reply to complaints and you’re left hanging, the way the system is set up is for you to be in debt, there is no help and how has this company been allowed to set this up with so many customers ? The reviews tell you everything here, it needs us all to report them and maybe something can be done, my advice is - do not use this company at all.
Fraser Plus is associated with Studio
Fraser Plus is associated with Studio. Both are absolutely useless. I had to return items to Studio recently. Two of the items were from a retailer that works under Studio's umbrella. The problem is that Studio will not help if things go wrong with these companies. The items that I returned have not been refunded. I have asked several times for Studio to help with this matter, but they repeat themselves, saying that the items have to be sent back directly to the retailer. I sent them proof of collection, delivery and item delivered. I asked Frasers Plus to freeze any added interest on this account, as I had put in a request to close this account several weeks ago, and paid the balance in full minus the amount that is due for the refund, I also emailed and live chatted them, to verify this request and to say that I have paid my outstanding balance in full as soon as I get the refund, which is paid directly to Fraserrs Plus, I must add, I want to close the account. I checked again yesterday, 25/11/25, and saw that interest has been added; still no refund. I live chatted with them once again. There is no way to get in touch with them by phone, and my emails have been ignored. After about and hour of chatting online they still didn't have a clue, saying again, that once I pay the balance in full they will close the accountif I request this again, I told them I have paid whe balance in full, Benross Marketing Ltd owe you the rest for a refunfd they haven't paid after receiving the items back on 12/11/25, I have sent in proof of this. After banging my head against the wall trying to get through to these people, I asked for the address of the ombudsman and/or their complaints department, I was told you tell me what you want to compalin about and I will submit a complaint, I said I would like the address because I know exactly what I want to complain about, they refused to give me any details. I will now have to take this matter further and get legal advice.
Please steer clear of Studio and Fraser Plus. BTW, I have never had any outstanding debt with them.
06/01/26. An update to my review from November 2025.
I have just received a refund from the company I returned goods to, which works under Studios umbrella. I returned items to them back in November 2025, but was awaiting a refund. In the meantime, I was speaking with Studio daily regarding this and asking for their help with this matter, as I was their customer, they refused to help, I paid off in full the balance that I owed minus the refund that was due, at the same time I asked them to freeze any added interest as I have been trying to sort this matter since November, and had asked Studio for help, which they didn't offer. Once I paid the balance that I owed, all that was left owing was the exact amount of the refund I was due. Not only do they refuse to help me with my problem, but they also added interest. Today, the other company paid the refund after I managed to find their contact details myself. I emailed them yesterday, and they refunded the Fraser Plus account today. When I checked the Fraser Plus account, there is still an outstanding balance, and they refuse to close this account until I pay this added on interest, after they can now see that I had paid in full, the company have refunded me, which I told Studio that I was due this refund, yet they still went ahead and added interest, to the outstanding balance which was to be refunded, and never helped me to get in touch with the company that I purchased the items from. Studio and Fraser Plus are fraudsters and are only interested in robbing your money. I will never shop with this company again, and I advise anyone who is thinking of shopping with them not to.

I give 0 stars for frasers plus. Iv been moved over from studio. Studio was excellent, really easy to understand, make payments and contact then if need be. Frasers plus on the other hand are outrageous, hard to get hold of, live chat not interested, never reply back via email and the payment system is so complicated to understand and make payments. They have been adding late payments on every month of £12 extra, my payment date was always set up for my pay day, Frasers plus says No you can't change the payment date, they don't have that facility, I have asked them to change this numerous times to no avail as its unfair them charging extra when I do pay every month, just not when they demand due to my pay day. It's now gone off to a complaints department that have 56 days to get back to me... And I have to fill in an income/expenditure to make out I'm struggling to pay my bills just to change my date of payments. Ridiculous, disgusting money grabbing company who do not care for its customers individual needs. I will be paying the bill off this account and closing it. Bring back studio pay, and shut this company down. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

The worst company to talk to. Half my order from house of Fraser didn’t get delivered it took me nearly 3 months to get a refund and even then it wasn’t the right amount but I couldn’t be bothered talking to them anymore I just gave up. This has happened a few times I have now deleted my account and will never use them again

Is not a surprise that has not nor even one star from 1 October I have canceled a order I have photo emails saying that and the amount in total was 352 they charged me with this amount plus another 320 fee charge ,they already took money from my bank account I don't have a phone to speak with them and I am just waiting to be removed the balance and the fee charge from my account also to be refunded the money that was took from my bank account for a order that I cancelled from 1 October and I don't have it how to pay and to be charged for something that you don't have and take more than 1 months to be updated on my account disgusting,disapynever ever again from them absolutely they worth 0 from a scale 1 to 10
