Since 1923 Francotyp-Postalia Ltd has been operating in the UK, for over 21 years we have been simply known as FP Mailing. FP have always been at the forefront of innovation introducing the first automatic franking machine, the first electronic franking machine, the first digital franking machine, first inkjet machine and more recently the first multi-carrier machine to meet the new de-regulated age. Realising the importance of Customer Service we have built a Customer Support Team based in the UK that are dedicated to dealing with customers questions and a highly skilled team of engineers ready to assist customers with breakdowns and service calls. I used there service for about 7 years
I used there service for about 7 years. It was OK because we never made contact with support . We then made contact to confirm we were moving and decided we did not need the service. Sent an email to cancel on 17th March 2026. It was ignored. Called on 30th March to ask for an update. They claimed to not have received the email so I resent it again on the same day and had it acknowledged by staff on the enquiries line (it was sent to the correct address both times, first to retentions and then to the general enquiries based on Gergia confirming she would forward it on). She forwarded to retentions. I called again today, 20th April 2026 and Georgia confirmed she had the email and had forwarded it but no note from retention. They still claim to have not received the email within the correct team, so they cant even send emails internally that reach one another? They have over £500 in credit that they owe us and have made me chase them to cancel a service we paid for without giving them any work to do for the entire period. Yet they have not shown any respect for that time and are making us beg for them to cancel. I am not here to do there admin

UNRESPONSIVE ON SERVICE AND LOCK YOU INTO AN EXTREME LONG CONTRACT - THEY PUT 6 YEARS IN SMALL PRINT, and LOCKED IN WITH A MACHING THAT DOESNT EVEN WORK. THey charge double to cancel

Changed the cliche and everything worked.

Absolute worst support and customer service ever
We have used FP for years and being in IT I have dealt with support from a lot o f different companies. FP has the absolute worst support and customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. They aren't helpful and you will end up on the phone for hours and hours being passed around which starts the entire process over again. I have begged the boss to change to a different company or just do it the old way. It's not worth the time and stress dealing with their incompetence.
