We love FloatBuds!
I was absolutely impressed by the Floatbuds swimsuit! My 4 and 2 year old did amazing in them and the first time they wore them, my 4 year old was able to swim across the pool with no help. Before she couldn’t because our old flotation devices wouldn’t allow her to properly swim. And with both of my kids being on the smaller side, usually flotation devices do not fit properly and constantly ride up but not the floatsuit! We really are so happy and can enjoy pool days a little more now! Thank you FloatBuds!

Emily, what a brilliant review to read — thank you! 💙
Your point about the fit is spot on: a suit that rides up shifts everything out of position, which is exactly why we build ours to sit snug. Hearing that both your girls could actually swim rather than just bob about is the whole reason we made it.
Enjoy those easier pool days together! 🌊

My son is absolutely OBSESSED with his Floatbuds. He asked to wear them every pool day we have! He even thinks every pack that comes in the mail is a new one!

Ryse, this made us laugh — every parcel being a potential new FloatBuds is the highest praise going! 😄💙
So glad he's asking to wear them on pool days. Thanks for taking the time to review, and enjoy the rest of your swim season! 🌊
Great concept but needs improvement. Severe Weggie to kids.
The child’s swimsuit with built in floats was a great concept. But definitely has room for improvements. The suit worked great in the water, BUT gave my grandson the biggest constant weggie and was very hard to pull the short section down. When I reached out to return they only offered a 20% discount return. I couldn’t return the product for a full refund.

Thank you for such a balanced review — the fit feedback is genuinely useful to us.
Glad the suit performed well in the water. The riding-up issue is worth us looking at: it can happen if the suit is slightly too small in the torso, since our sizing is built around chest and hip rather than length. If you let us know your grandson's measurements, we can tell you whether a different size would sit better on him.
On the return — we source from our overseas facility, which is what keeps the suits at the price they are, but it does mean return postage costs are high, which is why a partial refund is often the better outcome for customers. We understand that wasn't what you were hoping for.
If you'd like us to take another look, email us at contactfloatbuds@gmail.com with your order number and our team will come back to you.
We love floatbuds
We love floatbuds, now yes the shipping was a little longer than I expected but the quality and style of the material was perfect! It really does allow my son to move freely as he’s swimming around! I like that he’s not just bobbing there like other suits and he moves a lot faster in this suit! Definitely recommend!

Tiffany, thank you — and thank you for your patience on the shipping side. 💙
Your point about him moving rather than just bobbing is exactly what we set out to achieve; that horizontal position is what helps them build real swimming technique instead of hanging upright. Lovely to hear it's working for your son.
Really appreciate the recommendation. Enjoy the rest of your swim season! 🌊

A Pool-Day Game Changer for Our Little One! 💦
We absolutely LOVE our FloatBuds! 💦 My little one is still getting comfortable in the water, and this floatsuit has given us so much more confidence during pool days. It’s comfortable, easy to get on, and lets him move his arms and legs while still giving him the support he needs. He was able to splash, play, and actually enjoy the pool instead of feeling restricted. Such a great addition to our summer pool days!

Alexandra, thank you for such a warm review! 💙
Freedom of movement was one of the things we were most determined to get right — the whole point is that they can splash and play properly rather than feel held back. Lovely to hear it's given you both more confidence on pool days.
Enjoy the rest of your summer in the water! 🌊
No reasonable way to cancel, return or get refund
I ordered a suit for my grandson, which arrived a month after I ordered it. The only way to return the suit is to ship it back to China!!! and of course the cost for that is almost half the cost of the suit. I did try to cancel my order but was told it was too late. I would not deal with this company as there is no easy way to return products.

Sarah, thank you for taking the time to write this — and we're sorry the whole experience fell short.
A month is longer than our standard 2–3 week window, and that's on us to do better. Our orders process within about 48 hours, so we'd like to look into what happened with yours specifically.
On returns: we source from our overseas facility, which is what lets us keep the suits at the price they are — making them locally would mean charging $75+, which we didn't want to do. The trade-off is that return postage is genuinely expensive, and we understand that's frustrating when it isn't what you expected at the point of ordering. It's something we're working on making clearer up front.
We'd like the chance to sort this out properly. If you email us at contactfloatbuds@gmail.com with your order number, our team will take a proper look and come back to you.
The float suit actually works
The float suit actually works. My 3 year old used to use puddle jumpers and I saw a massive improvement after 30 mins of swimming. She didn’t want my help at all and wanted to swim all by herself.

Karisa, this is brilliant to hear — thank you! 💙
That shift from needing help to wanting to do it herself is exactly what the suit is designed to encourage, and 30 minutes is a lovely quick turnaround. Just keep her within arm's reach as she gets braver, since the suit supports her rather than replacing you being close by.
Enjoy watching her confidence grow! 🌊

So cute, works exactly as advertised
I had a really great experience with FloatBuds from start to finish. I had reached out to customer service a few times and always received a response within one business day, so communication was never an issue for me.
I was also pleasantly surprised when my package arrived because I was only expecting the FloatSuit, but it also came with the cutest kid-sized hooded towel and a matching swim cap. It made the whole package feel like so much more than just ordering a float suit.
The FloatSuit itself worked exactly as expected. My son was able to comfortably run around and play outside of the pool with it on and then get right into the water and swim and play without it restricting his movement. We’ve been using it in Florida, and even in the heat he never seemed uncomfortable or too hot in it. I also really appreciate the UPF 50+ fabric for the added sun protection.
Overall, I’m really happy with both the product and my experience with FloatBuds. It’s comfortable, functional, thoughtfully designed, and we’ll definitely continue using

Paige, what a thorough and generous review — thank you for taking the time. 💙
Lovely to hear the towel and cap were a nice surprise, and that the suit held up in the Florida heat. Comfort out of the water matters as much as in it, so we're really pleased he could run around in it happily. The UPF 50+ fabric is one of the things we're proudest of.
Thanks for the kind words about our team too — that means a lot to hear. Enjoy the rest of your swim season! 🌊

Thank you so much, Nicole — what a lovely thing to read! 💙 Swimming like a pro without a single lesson, and free of that bulky jacket, is exactly the kind of confidence we love hearing about. And you got it just right jumping in alongside him — that's how FloatBuds is meant to be used, with a grown-up right there. Here's to many more great swims! 🌊
Get it elswhere.
You can get these £5 cheaper at amazon, will arrive 3 weeks sooner than this lot, wont be delivered into your bin and the hat will likely fit your 2 year old head. What a joke. Not happy with this purchase AT ALL.

Thank you for taking the time to share this, Alisia — we're sorry the experience fell short 💙 One important thing to clear up: FloatBuds is sold exclusively through our own website. We have no Amazon store and no authorised sellers there, so whatever you've seen listed on Amazon is not our product — it's someone else using our name, and we can't vouch for its quality or safety. We'd genuinely like to look into the delivery issue and the cap sizing for you as well, as neither is how it should go. Please get in touch at contactfloatbuds@gmail.com and our team will take a look and come back to you.

I absolutely do not recommend
I absolutely do not recommend! I asked to cancel my order within an hour after purchasing they refused and said it had already left their warehouse. I CHECK AND IT HAD NOT SHIPPED YET. It has been 3 weeks and I still haven't seen any updates to the shipping and have not received my product. Do not order from this company! You can find the same thing on Amazon and save yourself from a total headache.

Thank you for taking the time to write this — we can hear the frustration and we'd like to put it right 💙 Our standard delivery window is 2–3 weeks, and orders are processed within around 48 hours, which is why cancellations can be difficult once processing has started. That said, three weeks with no tracking updates isn't the experience we want anyone to have, and we want to look into your order properly. One thing worth knowing: FloatBuds is sold exclusively through our own website — we have no Amazon store and no authorised sellers there, so anything listed under our name on Amazon isn't our product. Please email us at contactfloatbuds@gmail.com and our team will come back to you.

We have loved our Floatbuds suit! My toddler is 2 and wears 2-3T clothing and I thought it fit true to size. It worked well and was quick to dry! The design is so smart and gave her more confidence in the pool without feeling so bulky! We love it!
