I wish I would’ve found these sooner! This summer at the pool with 3, ages 3 and under, was a bit stressful, but once the Floatbuds swimsuit came in, it was a game changer! My 1 year old refused to put on a life jacket and made me so uneasy around the pool, but she LOVED the Floatbuds swimsuit! Will be purchasing another next summer!!

This is a gamechanger!
This is a gamechanger! I love how this allows some swim support (while supervised of course!) without the arm floaties. I also love that it’s adjustable- you can remove floating pieces as they become more proficient! My 2 year old LOVED swimming in this suit and I’m so glad we got it!

wouldn't touch them again. orderd 2 sets for my young one a towel and goggles. items arrived damaged and no longer useable tried to have them replaced and got the run around as they refuse to acknowledgetheir own return or replacement policy . items are no longer in my possession and now these assholes won't even respond to emails. do not recommend buying from them as they dont uphold their own terms

Absolutely love Floatbuds! We got the floatie and goggles and my daughter is obsessed. As a mom I love how safe she is and confident she’s become wearing it. She can safely and correctly learn to swim compared to other floaties (her swim teacher approved!)

Learning the correct posture from the start is the whole point. A suit that supports a natural horizontal position lets her build proper technique rather than habits she'd have to unlearn later, so it's lovely to hear her teacher is on board.
Just our usual gentle note: the floatsuit is a swim-development aid rather than a life-saving device, so an adult within arm's reach is always the rule.

FloatBuds changed my idea of the pool…
FloatBuds changed my idea of the pool this summer. We have a pool and I have 4 daughters 6, 4, and 1.5 year old twins. The older two had swim lessons and are amazing swimmers but the babies haven’t started yet. They figured out how to crawl out of or flip every float I put them in and cried every time they were in them. Then we found these float suits and they are swimming independently, putting their faces in the water, swimming underwater and gaining more and more confidence each time. I hated the pool before the suits. I couldn’t handle both at the same time by myself in there. Now, I feel confident with more peace of mind all by myself and all 4 kids in the pool. You can’t put a price tag on peace of mind!!

One gentle note, since we always say it: the floatsuits are swim-development aids rather than life-saving devices, so staying within arm's reach of the twins still matters even as they get more capable.

Three weeks sits within the 2–3 week window we quote, as our suits travel from our overseas facility. That's a deliberate choice to keep them affordable for families rather than pushing the price well up, but we know it doesn't help when you needed it by a certain date.

Helps build confidence!
We’ve loved the FloatBuds Floatsuit in our family! It worked wonderfully for our preschooler especially in those early stages when building confidence in the water. It gave her that little bit of extra support whilst reinforcing everything she was learning in her swim lessons and it was so lovely watching her become more comfortable and independent.
Now we’re using it with our toddler, and it’s been just as helpful. She’s still finding her confidence in the water, so having that added support makes pool time feel much more relaxed and enjoyable for all of us.
I love that it’s been something we’ve been able to use through different stages rather than something kids quickly grow out of.

Easy to place order and shipping was a very reasonable time. Good color options for boys and girls. Great sizing options, fit my son perfectly! Such a great option for toddlers learning to swim, my son had so much fun in it and loved it! Also the fabric didn’t let any sun come through so we didn’t have to worry about sunburn! Will be buying again!

The UPF 50+ fabric was a deliberate choice. Long days by the water shouldn't mean constant sunscreen top-ups, so building the sun protection right into the suit felt like the obvious move. Lovely to hear it did its job.
And so glad the sizing landed perfectly — that's why we anchor to chest and hip measurements rather than age alone.

My 16-month-old loved swimming in this float suit and being able to move around so freely. He used to cry in the other float suits we tried, so it’s been amazing to see him actually enjoy being in the water in this one.

We manufacture at our overseas facility, which is what lets us keep FloatBuds priced the way it is for families — producing locally would push the suits well past $75, and that wasn't a trade we wanted to make. The flip side is that returns travel a long way, and we understand that's not what anyone wants to hear. I am SO glad I came across float buds swimsuit and super cute hooded towel! The swimsuit is so much better than the bulky floatie around the arms! He is actually able to swim and stay vertical while actually learning to swim!we also love the prints and the hooded towel is so cute to keep him warm and cozy after swimming! Freedom of movement is such a big part of it. Without bulky arm floats getting in the way, little ones can actually practise the movements that turn into real swimming. So glad he's getting that, and that the hooded towel is earning its keep after the pool too.

My 3 year was not confident in the…
My 3 year was not confident in the water, until we got this swimsuit. I was going to get him in swimming lessons but we have not been able to afford them yet. But I really wanted him to learn how to be safe in the water and this swimsuit changed everything! He was instantly more confident in the water and I love that as he gets more confident we can take out the floaties one by one. But in the meantime I have just been showing him how to swim and I love not having to worry about him in the water. Also he is OBSESSED with the swim cap too and the towel. Which is so cute. We have both the blue and the orange floatbuds swimsuit and I HIGHLY recommend them!

You've got the approach exactly right: full support to start, then removing the inserts one by one as his skills catch up. And the swim cap obsession is very relatable.
One thing worth keeping in mind while he's learning — the floatsuit is a swim-development aid rather than a life-saving device, so staying within arm's reach is important even as he gets more confident.

Terrible experience
I ordered 2 suits for my toddler grandsons on July 3rd - received an email July 15 saying they were being shipped. By August 13 still no suits so I inquired via email - response was they would check into it. As of August 24, still no update so I emailed again and received the same message they'd look into it. I responded with a demand for a refund bc the summer is over and now they will have outgrown them. Stay tuned.

My items took nearly a month to arrive
My items took nearly a month to arrive. When they finally did arrive, one suit was ripped. I photographed it and emailed them the day I received the item. It took them another month to respond to me, only to offer me a 20% refund or a replacement. I declined the replacement since it would take another month to arrive. Swim season will be over by then. They claimed the year appeared to be from use. Horrible customer service. It’s been almost 2 months since my purchase and I still have no refund.

These are so well made and designed. My 4 year old twins were using puddle jumpers and the second we put these on they were swimming, kicking, splashing and having a great time feeling more in control having their arms free but still safe. 10/10 recommend
