Signed up for a used electric car…
Signed up for a used electric car through my company's EV scheme provided by Fleet Alliance. Found the whole process very smooth, from advice on how to search for cars on the portal, which ones might suit my needs, and understanding the costs involved. There was clear instructions on what to expect through the process and I was kept updated. Had my new (used) car within 3 weeks, very pleased with the condition of the car and with the service from the delivery company. Thanks to Scott Russell and Hazel Blackwood for their assistance.

Smooth delivery, But I wish I'd been better advised
The overall process was straightforward, delivery was quick, and the driver who dropped the car off was excellent. He was friendly, helpful, and took the time to show me everything I needed to know about the vehicle.
The reason for my lower rating is the pre-sales experience. Communication was almost entirely by email, and I feel a phone call would have helped make sure the vehicle I chose was actually the right fit for my needs.
I'm not a car expert, so different trim levels and specifications don't mean much to me. I explained that technology features were important and even asked for quotes on different vehicles because I liked the idea of having a 360-degree parking camera. However, there was never really a conversation about alternative options. For example, if the car with the 360 camera was too expensive, it would have been helpful to be shown other vehicles that at least had a reversing camera for a smaller increase in cost.
Instead, I've ended up with a car that, while lovely to drive and great to look at, is missing a lot of the technology I was used to in my previous vehicle. There's no reversing camera, and I've been unable to get Apple CarPlay working despite spending hours trying to set it up. For a newer car, I had assumed features like these would be standard.
I can't help feeling there was a rush to get the order finalised rather than fully exploring whether this was the right vehicle for me. I'm now committed to the car for the next three years and, whilst I genuinely like the car itself, I do feel I've taken a step backwards when it comes to in-car technology.
Overall, a smooth ordering and delivery process, but I think the sales experience could have been more consultative and focused on understanding the customer's requirements rather than simply processing the order.

Easy to use portal and clear costs
Easy to use portal and clear to see the costs of different models of car. Staff were helpful and responsive to queries.
The only down side was that it is not possible to set more specific search criteria beyond the limited ones available on the portal meaning I had to research which make and model of cars had AWD to see if they had the requirements I was looking for rather than being able to narrow my search on the portal.

Quotes easy to explore and compare with a transparent breakdown. Response time once requested was much quicker than expected and effortless on my part. Fleet Alliance handled everything for me and little was needed from me. Once quote was confirmed, it came in lower than expected.

After experiencing significant delays with the previous provider, Fleet Alliance were extremely helpful in guiding me through the process and helping me choose a vehicle that I may not otherwise have considered. The car has proven to be perfect for my needs.
The level of service throughout has been excellent. All of my questions were answered quickly and thoroughly, with prompt responses and great customer service at every stage. The delivery process was smooth and completed within the expected timescales.

Used Electric car 'no longer available'
I selected a used electric car and got all the documents signed but your agent got back to me a few days later to say that the car was no longer available and I have had to select a different car.
The replacement car has now been delivered and I am very happy with it.
