We loved our Costa Rica trip! We rafted, repelled, hiked and swam. We saw waterfalls and beaches and so many animals. Our guide Allan was great, so chill/knowledgable/enthusiastic. Our little group had lots of fun and it was so nice to let someone else plan/organize everything. 10/10 recommend👏👏

Absolutely fantastic experience with Flash Pack on the Kenyan African Safari!

From start to finish, this trip exceeded every expectation. The wildlife viewing was outstanding—saw so many incredible animals in stunning locations, and the pacing felt perfectly balanced to maximize sightings without feeling rushed.

Allan and Kevin, our guides, were incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt comfortable, looked after, and included. Their expertise enriched every day with fascinating insights, hidden spots, and smooth logistics.

The accommodations were consistently comfortable and well-situated, and the food was brilliant everywhere we stayed. The attention to detail—from porters to game drives to meals—made the experience carefree and enjoyable.

If you’re considering a safari, I can’t recommend Flash Pack highly enough. The team’s hospitality, professionalism, and passion for what they do were evident in every moment. Five stars without a doubt!

The country exceeded my expectations and our guide (Alejandro) has a love for his country that was unmatched.

Don’t think the group was properly prepared for the weather (much warmer than warned) but sometimes you gotta pivot.

It is a lot of movement - new hotel every 2 nights so gotta be prepared for that.

Flashpack cater some of the best experiences I've found. I especially like that most of the individuals that are signed up are younger professionals, which makes it easier to relate to many of them. Experiences are unique and one of a kind always with one of the best local guides that you could find.

The only complaint I really have is that they appear to be solely catering to single professional women instead of including men in that picture. After my next flashpack I'll likely be searching for an alternative that encourages men to make friends on the road as well.

We had the most amazing time in Costa Rica. Our travel guide, Allan, was outstanding. Hands down the best guide I’ve ever had- knowledgeable, patient, and went the extra mile to ensure we had the best experience. There was so much cool stuff planned during the trip- I’ve been to several counties and taken several group trips, this one was by far the best

This was my first Flash Pack, and it did not disappoint. The Belize tour guide Luis was a wealth of knowledge. He sent us tips in the group chat prior to the tour and each evening to help us prepare for the next day. Each day was 7am-5pm ish. I appreciated that the days were planned and active. I was nervous about the ATM cave tour, but it turned out to be a highlight for me. There was enough swimming/climbing that I didn't have time to be claustrophobic. If you're thinking about booking, go for it and remember your bug spray!

My feedback summarises down to two key points: the trip advertising feels inaccurate to what I experienced on the actual trip, and we lacked sufficient time for many of the activities. 

The trip advertises seeing Beautiful Croatia and highlights being in Zagreb, Split and Dubrovnik. In the end, we barely spent any time in those cities. Most of the activities were outside of the city centres, and it was only during the minimal free time between the activities that we were able to explore. And, it took motivated, like-minded individuals for it to happen. For example, in Split we did not have any organised time actually spent in Split, aside from an unofficial 45 minute tour from our guide.

Indeed the two best tourist spots in Dubrovnik we had to do after the trip had finished! Instead our time in Dubrovnik was mostly not spent in Dubrovnik. The cooking class was 40 minutes outside of Dubrovnik and the final day on an island off the mainland. I would recommend finding more activities in the highlighted cities for us to experience Croatia as advertised.

Many of the activities and sites were fun and beautiful. For example, the rafting was fun, and the waterfalls/National Park were beautiful. Absolutely stunning! But, due to limited time it felt like we raced through the National Park. It was hard to enjoy when it felt like we were sprinting through. It was disappointing to not have enough time to enjoy the park. 

Other activities were different than originally advertised. For example, the wine tasting activity was actually a sales pitch for the wine company. The cooking class was a cooking demonstration. The bike ride was a short downhill ride, and the island stand up paddle boarding (SUP) was difficult because of the choppy waters. Whilst it wasn’t the guide’s fault that there was bad weather, the activity was short and many participants couldn’t enjoy it due to the rough water. I would recommend modifying activities as needed when the weather worsens and improving the advertising for certain activities to match the reality.

The included meals were good, but I found it very disappointing that a drink was not included at most meals. A basic local drink, or soft drink, should have been included with every meal. This felt like a peculiarly disappointing policy for a high end company. I also wasn’t expecting to have to pay so much for food throughout the week, given it was a prepaid trip. Every non included meal was €50+, which adds up. 

Finally, there was a massive over emphasis on tips and tipping throughout the week too. Of course tipping is fine in the service, tourism and hospitality industry, but not everything or everyone needs a tip!!

I hope you find this feedback useful in reshaping the trip!

I don’t recommend at all.
Expensive tour with some low end / shabby hotels and group meal food quality was terrible.
First night in Osaka food tour bypassed some beautiful options to eat in the low end dive in a train station. I actually gagged on the meat. Then deep fried fast food and standing dessert again nearby many enticing options.
Itinerary far too packed and rushed along. We wanted to enjoy the shops near the bamboo forest and were rushed along. The boat ride was in direct sun seeing essentially nothing special. If we wanted to stop for a drink/coffee had to ask was not built in to have those catch your breath moments. Your guide had an entirely different view of itinerary than guests and ours severely lacked detail.
Luggage forwarding service was inconvenient and wholly unnecessary. For $10 more you can bring your bags on bullet train. So we were quite surprised the amount of humping our leftover / overnight bags we had to do in and it of train stations, stairs, buses 20-30 minute walks on each hotel move versus van transport. Geisha meal was very low end not fresh food. Multiple meals I paid out of pocket to order fresh food on menu. There was a point where I ate almost nothing at the ryokan for 2 days and had no access to alternatives or even a 7-11. Guide was very sweet but not very empowered and unable to read the room on our needs. 3 out of 7 of us left the tour half way through and opted to vacation on our own. We skipped Hakone (notified in advance) and got our own out of pocket lodging in Tokyo and for that we were reimbursed $450 on a $10k trip!! I looked up comparable hotel to the one booked by FP and they were closer to $300 a night again for low end. Decision to leave was smart as the rest of group found ginza hotel so unacceptable they were moved at 10 at night.
Recommend a higher end tour or custom/private guide for the money spent. I wish I knew as I could’ve booked a better experience.

This was my 3rd FP trip and by far the best (no disrespect to previous trips but this one was so good).

the trip - I love Chile. the places, people, food and drink. The ONLY way I could see this trip improving would be to include Atacama somehow. I appreciate the logistical challenges of course but it was the only thing missing. Maybe also consider Valparaiso being an overnight trip?

the group - this is a big part of what made the trip so good. Loved the group I was in.

The Leader - Francisco was absolutely brilliant. A natural leader who showed his love for his country, he encouraged the group to embrace the experiences, was supportive, empathetic as well as showing patience and flexibility. Simply outstanding. He is a great ambassador for both Chile and Flashpack.

Other guides - whether it was the gauchos, the raft guides or the lovely Valentina and Javiera in Patagonia we were always in great hands with people who were experienced, friendly and supportive.

Opportunity to improve - there did seem to be a slight disconnect between the info from the support team and the reality of the trip. Example - I was advised that I could bring water shoes for the rafting or be prepared to use a pair of my shoes that would get wet. Neither of these were the case as everything was provided for the river rafting. Not a major issue however when you are limited to 23kg in your case it is essential to have the correct packing information.

Without a doubt my best holiday yet.

I went to the Philippines with Flashpack and my trip just so happened to be disrupted by two separate typhoons, but Rupert, our pack leader did an amazing job at pivoting and making sure our group still had an incredible trip! Not many things went to plan but Rupert, the Berts, and all of the other local guides made what should have been a very stressful trip amazing! The energy was fun and even when Rupert was worried about his own family (because they were directly impacted by one of the typhoons) you would have never known (we had to pry the info about of him). Truly an amazing experience with loads of fun activities and nice stays! I can’t recommend the Philippines trip highly enough, and when they open up the new Philippines excursion I will be there!

Everyone in Cambodia was super friendly and welcoming and our pack leader Sarou embodied those qualities. He couldn’t do enough for us giving us the best experience and making travelling round the country so easy. The trip is action packed and shows you every side of Cambodia from the city to the jungle and beaches. I would definitely recommend this trip!

Costa Rica Wildlife and Beach

This was my first trip with Flash Pack and also my first solo trip. I had an incredible time in Costa Rica. The group was warm, the itinerary was well planned, and the experience felt easy and fun from start to finish.

Our pack leader Allan was truly special. He blended so naturally with our group, and his excitement for Costa Rica, the wildlife and especially the birds made every outing feel meaningful. He also made my birthday unforgettable by surprising me with a cake and helping create such a fun celebration on the beach.

I chose to room with a roommate and Flash Pack matched us perfectly. I was nervous about sharing a room for a full week, but my roommate was amazing and the whole setup felt comfortable.

If you are thinking about this trip, I highly recommend booking it. It was safe, memorable and a wonderful way to travel solo.

I was on the Philippines trip that started on 11/7/25. Unfortunately, a typhoon had passed through which affected many areas. Rupert, our pack leader, was amazing and did an awesome job of making different arrangements. I had such a wonderful time in the Philippines and all of the accommodations and activities were lovely. We had 3 birthdays during the trip and Rupert made each birthday very special. Also, the Berts and their crew from the island hopping days are fantastic, and I can’t wait to one day go back and do another boat day with them! You will not be disappointed by this trip!

I went on my first Flashpack tour to the Philippines with Rupert as our guide. If I could give him 10 stars I would. We were traveling the Philippines in a rather difficult time, when 2 typhoons had hit within a week. Rupert was so diligent at ensuring our safety and rearranging our trip to make sure we still had the best experience. He not only did this for us but he did this while having to be away from his family during those difficult times. From island hopping in El Nido with the Berts (what a hoot they were), to traveling through Loboc river and to Bohol with Brian. there was never a dull moment. The resorts we stayed in were phenomenal. If you like crystal clear blue waters, swimming, and snorkelling then this is definitely the trip for you. Thank you again to Flashpack and most of all Rupert for giving us the best 12 days ever.

My trip with Flashpack to the Philippines was pure magic, largely down to the wonderful pack leader, Rupert.

This was my fourth trip with Flashpack, and there is a reason I keep coming back! I would recommend any Flashpack itinerary to anyone in their 30s-50s, experienced travelers and novice, alike. Whether you want adventure or down-time, there truly is a trip for everyone and Flashpack over-delivers EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

It was our bad luck to arrive in the Philippines on the heels of two once in a decade typhoons in 2025, and even so, Flashpack and Rupert handled the minor disruptions to our itinerary with professionalism and proactivity that ensured the experience wasn't compromised. Rupert communicated updates to the group and Flashpack's team in London followed up to ensure everyone was happy, safe, and above all, having fun.

The few minor changes from the typhoons only impacted a couple days of a two week itinerary. I walked away so impressed, knowing if this is how they handle a once in a decade natural disaster, there is nothing man-made or otherwise that could compromise a Flashpack trip. This is down to Flashpack's thoroughness (Rupert shared plan B, plan C, and plan D during the first couple days depending on how the storm landed) and true commitment to delivering unparalleled experiences.

Highlights of the trip include: Rupert, our guide himself, and his ability to make joy wherever he goes in any circumstance; island hoping in crystal blue waters to beaches in El Nido on a private boat with the incomparable "'Ert's" (Albert and Bert, two members of Rupert's cultivated local team on the ground);Yoga on a SUP paddle board down a tranquil river in a jungle paradise; Muddy ATVs through the picturesque Chocolate Hills; Beach parties, and dancing wherever we went.

We stayed in beautiful locations like Bohol Beach Club, Sedo Resort, and Luboc River Resort with every amenity imaginable including massages, a breakfast omelette bar, fruity umbrella drinks on the beach, and an attentive staff full of smiling, happy, people.

Do yourself a favor, trust your travel to Flashpack!!! I can't say enough good things about the people, the experiences, the amenities, or the customer service. If the measure of an organization is how they respond when things don't go to plan, Flashpack has earned its 5 stars from me tenfold. Treat yourself to a trip with Flashpack and rest easy knowing it will be amazing, rain, shine, or typhoon!

I had the best time on the FP Escape to the Philippines trip. Rupert was an amazing leader. So kind, fun and very knowledgable of the Philippines. He made us all feel very safe and well taken care of, when the first couple of days were disrupted by a typhoon.

Rupert has put together a great itinerary, with excellent people working with him - special call out to ‘the Berts’ who were really fun on our boat day out. Brian was also fab, I really enjoyed meeting him and having him join us in Bohol.

The hotels we stayed at were lovely too - Seda and the Bohol Beach Club in particular. I LOVED the ceviche making at the end of the trip, and the boat day around El Nido.

Would recommend this trip to anyone. The Philippines is a beautiful country, and if you’re lucky enough to have Rupert as your group leader, you’ll have the best holiday.

Just returned from Sri Lanka on my 2nd trip with Flash Pack. Suren, our guide was one of the best I’ve had and every day was a smoothly run adventure exploring this beautiful country. The accommodations were consistently excellent and am looking forward to my next trip with them.

What makes a company great and trustworthy isn’t how great things are when things go well, it’s how they adapt and serve customers when things go wrong.

Unfortunately the Philippines suffered back to back typhoons in the days before my trip and this had a huge impact on the country and the itinerary for our trip. Flash Pack (and the world’s undisputed best Tour Guide of all time, Rupert), worked tirelessly to adapt in a matter of hours, and created an alternative itinerary that ensured we still had an amazing time, and were still able to support the Philippines at that difficult time.

Whilst it was disappointing to have to miss Ginto Island, it was a mere inconvenience in the grand scheme of things, other experiences were added free of charge, and the group still had an incredible, highly memorable experience.

Flash Pack really know how to dot the i’s and cross the t’s. All accommodation, transport, restaurants, trips were of the highway standard, they’ve thought through how to create an experience, not just put on a trip. Already looking forward my next Flash Pack trip!

I’ve just returned from Cambodia with Flash Pack and had an amazing time. Sarou was a wonderful guide - knowledgeable and friendly highly recommend Exotic Cambodia for a mix between exploring cities, historic cites, nature and amazing beaches

My first flashpack trip was to Thailand and I am already planning my next one! Our guide, “spooky” made us feel like family immediately and she planned additional adventures for us outside of the included excursions because she wanted us to soak in as much of the Thai culture as possible. Each accommodation was beautiful and comfortable. Highly recommend a trip!
