It has been a positive experience for over 10 years as a Tutor with Firsttutors.
I have had excellent students lasting many years.
The pricing structure works well.
Could do with more quality students.

Overall a very good tutoring agency. Straightforward, fair and a simple but effective system for matching students with tutors. Their website could be a little easier to navigate and use but overall it does the job and I have received many excellent clients through them. I would recommend them to other tutors.

I have worked as a tutor with First Tutors for many years. They are an excellent tutor site to work with, providing clear instructions to both clients and tutors regarding the way the site works.
I really enjoy having students who really want to learn and achieve high standards in examinations. A peaceful, online tuition session can be particularly helpful to those students facing a disruptive classroom environment in school.

I am pleased with First Tutors. As a tutor I appreciate that they will allow you to discuss with a prospective parent before charging their one off fee to that parent (unlike another site l advertise with). This is good because the parent is then not upset if l can’t take them on. Furthermore it’s great for parents that they can find a tutor without paying a fee to an agency for each lesson.

As a tutor on Frist tutors, they are great. they charge and introductory fee to clients (i.e. the people wanting tuition), but none for tutors. They don't take a cut from lesson costs, which is very rare. My experience with the platform has been very positive over the last few years.

Thanks to First Tutor, I was introduced to a student studying MATHS A level , willing to improve her Mathematics skills , knowledge , and understanding. It was a privilege , and a pleasure for me to provide answers to the various Pure Mathematics A level exercises/questions.
Through First Tutors website , I was able to communicate with the girl's mother confirming the session , Mathematics topics requested for each individual sessions for several months.
The student made good progress , and is capable of good performance.

Best tutoring website I've used. Easy to set up account and very fair prices for the finders fee. Ability for tutors to set prices gradually at both the subject and qualification level is very useful.

First Tutors is an excellent platform, for connecting students and tutors together. Their prices are really good, with a one-off fee being so much better than ongoing fees which other platforms use. I highly recommend First Tutors for parents looking for tutors for their children.

As a tutor, over 3/4 of my students come through FirstTutors. I'm pleased about that because (unlike other sites) they charge a very reasonable one-off flat fee (roughly the same as a single lesson) rather than a percentage of every lesson.
I would be happy if ALL my students come through them.
