The worst nightclub in the UK. Avoid.
Really disappointing experience at fabric tonight.
One of our group had accidentally forgotten his ID, so when security told us he couldn’t enter, we accepted that completely. He was going to go back and get it.
What I found ridiculous was that because I questioned why he couldn’t simply go and get his ID and pointed out that he was clearly not underage, we were then told that the other two of us couldn’t enter either.
We weren’t aggressive, causing trouble or refusing to follow the rules. We accepted that our friend couldn’t enter without ID and were simply trying to understand the situation. To then refuse entry to the rest of us felt completely unnecessary and disproportionate.
I understand that fabric has strict security and ID policies, but there’s a massive difference between enforcing a “no ID, no entry” rule and refusing entry to people who actually have valid ID simply because they questioned the decision.
Really poor door experience and not the way I’d expect a venue like fabric to treat customers.
We had a very disappointing experience at Fabric. The security search at the entrance felt unnecessarily intrusive and was carried out in a way that we found rude, aggressive and unprofessional. When we raised our concerns, the staff did not respond respectfully.
There was not plave to seat inside the venue, and we observed behaviour that raised concerns about possible drug use inside the over crowded venue!
We did not feel comfortable or well looked after during our visit, and unfortunately we would not return.
Firstly I became a member and purchased tickets for two events one Friday night and one Saturday night i arrived in good spirits and on bothe occasions I was told I'd had too much to drink in failed to get in both times the security are absolutely rubbish on both occasions I hadn't had a drink they make it up as they go along the worst club in london
I was denied entry having a valid ticket solely on the basis i am a man and i was going alone
Imagine the overzealous store assistant asking for ID from someone who is clearly over 25 to buy a Red Bull, well that is what Fabric's 'vetting' has become even before you get to the frisk search. Unfortunate, as I was looking forward to see the artist playing 'all night'. Oh well, will make the best of my Sunday, probably better to be honest. Most likely will not ask for a refund as they would likely blacklist me for being 'rude' to staff.
A hellish experience
Minus 5 stars for Fabric. Thorough searches at the door by staff of the opposite sex, followed by chaos orchestrated by violent staff inside the club. Hours of queuing inside as they blocke the way to the small room where Laurent Garnier was playing. The overcrowding there was dangerous, and we couldn't see him.
Disorganised even at the point of collecting our coats from the cloakroom, which took one full hour of standing in the freezing cold. We want our money back.

The way Fabric club implements it’s policies is unacceptable. Last Saturday, September 30th, I went to the Red Axes event with my girlfriend. We were in Room One on the main stage and we were dancing. Suddenly, security people came and shone flashlights in my face and all they told me was to follow them. On the way out, they ostentatiously ignored me as I asked them what had happened. When we were outside the club, they told me that someone had reported inappropriate touching. We tried repeatedly to explain to them that such a thing never happened, and that we are out together not looking for more partners, but they were adamant. We also asked from them to talk to the people around us that were there and were speaking or dancing with us. So from there, where we were in a moment of excessive fun, we suddenly found ourselves on the street wondering why, and trying to digest an accusation that goes against what I stand for as a human. This came as a shock and a kick in the stomach. I am a person who cares for and respects the ones next to me. Me and my partner enjoy ourselves going out and dancing and meeting new friendly people everytime. It’s a shame for us who pick up glasses from the floor so that other people don’t fall on them, help others when they are too drunk or had a bad cocktail of everything, and have fun not only in a self-centred way but also by while making sure that the people around us are well, to receive such an accusation.
I believe that such reports should be thoroughly investigated to avoid such injustice. The Fabric, since it is so strict in their ways of applying their Safe space policies, should make sure to have the necessary information in every case so that it IS safe for everyone. Either with the file from a security camera, or by inquiring with the people around or members of stuff that we came across in the same night.
So in this particular club where entry control is so strict while at the same time people entered that night from the smoking area without being checked for what they may be carrying with them; where toxic masculine behaviours are obvious while someone like me receives such an unfair treatment, something really needs to improve in their ways..
World Class Night Out In Farringdon,
Thank You Fabric.

Disgraceful and unpolite bouncers rejecting a group of 4 gentlemen with prepaid tickets from Resident Advisor Sundays Carnival afterparty. That was pure harrasment. I have never experienced such unprofessional door staff as this before. Fabric used to be good - but they have lost it with these rude amateurs in the door.
Superbly caring staff and a welcoming atmosphere. I'm grateful for the memories.
I have made several orders at fabric and have not experienced any issues yet. The website has great presentation and is well functional. The CDs are great!
