Very poor experience with F1 Autocentres.

I arrived for my MOT appointment on time but needed to disable the PIN to Drive feature on my Tesla before handing over the vehicle. By the time I walked into reception it was approximately 2 minutes after my 10:00am appointment time.

I was then told I had “missed my slot” and would have to leave the car with them all day. When I explained the situation and said that wasn’t acceptable, I requested a refund instead.

The receptionist was extremely rude, dismissive and condescending throughout the conversation.

To make matters worse, I still haven’t received my refund.

Customer service is also very poor. They are incredibly difficult to contact by phone and rarely answer. I spent most of Wednesday trying to get through with no success and only managed to speak to someone on Thursday morning to confirm my appointment time.

F1 Autocentres also don’t send booking confirmation emails or text messages, making it unnecessarily difficult to verify appointments. The whole process feels designed to make customers miss their slots while the company keeps their money.

I will not be using F1 Autocentres again and would not recommend them based on my experience.

Booked MOT and 2 new tyres a week before expiry. Manager phoned to say tyre machine broke but bring it in for MOT. Did so and after leaving it with them for the day was told that 4x4 brake calibration machine was being recalibrate so they could not complete the MOT!...Booked for the following week a day after expiry but still not able to complete!! No phone call to tell me.
Absolute joke service, joke booking system. Left desperately hunting round for last minute MOT....

Really happy with the service on the MOT of my vehicle carried out by Josh, failed first time around and passed on return all done when they said it would be done

Absolute scam artists.
Paid for brake fluid renewal. And they scammed me. Didn’t change the fluid. Not even the bleed nipples had been cracked.
I’d topped my fluid up a week before, I bet they checked it and thought “easy day, they’d never know”.

Just make sure you check what’s been done.

Last time I ever use these crooks. Legal action in process.

I booked my MOT online which is very convenient. The welcome and service I received at the Kidderminster branch was great. Friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend and will visit again with any of my car needs.

Booked Service and MOT well in advance at Kidderminster, having used them before. All completed early despite them having short staff due to illness. I was given a "heads up" on very slight oil leak so I could monitor it although not an issue yet. Staff were professional, polite and friendly - and I have to applaud this considering I had WRONGLY had a go at them about MOT booking time being advised to me incorrectly - I found my note at home and THEY were right, I had got it mixed up. They were extremely gracious in accepting my apology. THANK YOU - 5* more than well deserved.

I honestly cannot recommend F1 Autocentres in Kidderminster highly enough.

I was towed there this week after hitting a nasty pothole on my way to work, which I initially thought had just slashed my tyre. It wasn’t even my local garage — they just happened to be the closest place, and I am SO glad that’s where I ended up.

After a four-hour recovery ordeal, Jarrick (apologies if I’ve spelled your name wrong!) was incredibly kind, calming, and reassuring. When they removed the wheel, it turned out it was actually buckled, which was pretty devastating news — but Jarrick went above and beyond to help me explore every possible option so I wouldn’t be left stranded.

Although none of the options could assist, he suggested checking eBay, helped me find the right part, and even let me have it delivered directly to the garage so everything could be sorted as fast as possible.

They kept my car safe and secure for three days, kept me updated, and contacted me as soon as the wheel arrived and was fitted so I could collect it. At no point did I feel taken advantage of — quite the opposite. They were honest, fair, and genuinely helpful throughout.

Outstanding customer service, genuine care, and total professionalism. Thank you so much to Jarrick and the whole team — you turned a really stressful situation into a much easier one to deal with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone.

The Branch Manager and team provided excellent service when my daughter's vehicle was recovered to their Kidderminster branch. They identified that the wheel was buckled, suggested where a new wheel could be purchase from and stored the vehicle until a wheel was delivered. They identified and advised a cosmetic difference in the new wheel.

Brought the car in at 8.30am which was my time slot. I was told it would be 30 - 45 mins. It took an hour and forty minutes to finally get the car back at 10.10am. The car had to be in for an MOT retest at another garage 1 mile up the road for 10am. When I asked how long it was going to be at 9.40am, I was told 10mins, I mentioned the MOT, no urgency and it took another 30 mins!

Excellent service provided by the team. Needed new brake pads and they sorted an issue with the steering which turned out to be a steering wheel ball replacement.

Had 3 tyres fitted to the Youngest Childs clio by F1 Autocentres in Kidderminster about 3 months ago ... all 3 leaked. Took them back, had them re-seated.

We had to do some unrelated work on the rear wheel and decided to do it ourselves. Discovered one wheel bolt was loose and rattling around behind the hub cover. When we went to refit it at the end of our work, we discovered it had not just been loose, but the thread had been stripped out of the drum.

F1 were the only people to work on this until we had the wheel cover off. We had to purchase and fit a new drum, which is expensive and annoying.

To be fair to F1, Andy in their customer relations reached out and apologised and seemed genuinely apologetic for the problem and contributed to my costs, which was appreciated.

Customer service was lovely mot completed nothing was to much trouble even re gassed my ac 🙂

On the M5 the tyre warning light came on so I stopped at a service station & as nothing appeared wrong carried on to Shropshire. I called in at the Formula One Autocentre on the outskirts of Kidderminster to get the tyres checked. They were brilliant & sorted out the problem very quickly. Thank you so much for being so friendly & helpful.

I took my car for a mot and service. This was the first time I used Formula one. Great experience from start to finish. The team on site are very friendly and helpful. We had to put a new tyre and replace the front breaks and been in January, money is tight. They have this option where you can pay in 4 months with no interest, what a life saver.
There prices are cheaper than other centres (as I looked into this before booking). While definitely be a long term customer. Thanks.

Very pleasant experience with Jorgen who advised on emissions problem on my wife's Mazda MX5. Service and MOT were carried out efficently.

Assistant Manager Jay was extremely helpful. I had an issue with my car on a Sunday morning when I had a 4 hours journey planned. I couldn’t find a place that could look at my car urgently however when I rang Jay, he was very kind and agreed to look at my car and make sure it’s safe for my long journey up north.

Took my car back 3 times to sort the noisy front brakes , 3rd time car hadn't even moved off the front and gave it me back saying had sorted it. Heard noise straight away as pulling out there car park so no way had it been worked on and tested. Had 2 new tyres and tracking done , have had to recently get the tyres replaced as 1 tyre worn badly on edge , took to my normal place and the tracking was miles out , loads tred left on tyres aswell. Will never use here again and will never recommend to anyone either. Also I think they told me things that were needed and they were not and looking at the reviews it sounds as though this is common practice Don't trust this garage at all , no trust no business from me. Let alone the poor workmanship.

I booked online for my MOT and Service quick and easy with a great quote.
The day the car was due in the staff was amazing especially the German fellow, very friendly and helpful.
I was contacted asap when it was done.
Great service and price with no sales or hassle, will definitely be using again.
