London Euston Station the man said Wednesday morning we can leave two small rucksacks for the price of one. It was the hottest day in London. On pick up for the two small rucksacks we were charged £30 for two small rucksacks. Day light robbery and being lied to is not the way you would expect from a British Transport company helping old age pensioners.

Travelers through Pearson airport in Toronto should be aware that the Excess Baggage facility is not a proper luggage storage facility. Unlike the Excess Baggage brand in airports and train stations in London, in Pearson they can keep bags, coats, etc. for weeks but require knowing your flight information and if your upcoming flight is too far after your pick-up date they will not accept your bags. They cannot point to any policy that states how far is too far. Because I was taking a side trip for two days to a nearby town by bus from the airport and not taking a flight until six days after returning and picking up my luggage, I was told, after an incredible explanation by the manager, that their policy does not allow that. “Three or four days later” might be acceptable I was told. They could not specify a maximum length of time. I ended up using Bags Away at Union station after travelling there and back to Pearson by the express train. (Bags Away worked quite well and they don’t want to know your travel plans.) Maybe if your flight leaves the same day you pick-up there would be no problem, otherwise I would not rely on them. I am not sure if they required any evidence of a flight reservation so it might be possible to just pick one that they could put in their record. In any case, best to avoid.

Don’t answer the phone. Don’t respond to emails. Didn’t turn up. When we finally got through they said the courier was delayed. No update so they have ruined our last day of vacation. Had to take baggage to another storage facility. Utter waste of time and now have to wait for a refund. Don’t be fooled by the other reviews. Check out their other site tramsferbags and you’ll see….

Left my case at T5 on Saturday, collected it the following afternoon. The shop looked tidy and professional, and at drop off and collection the staff were efficient and very friendly. Would definitely recommend and use again. Great service!
