Violated ToS by not refunding my ticket despite cancelling an event. Do not purchase tickets through this company.

I could not go to concert at Tivolli (Aberdeen) so sent message to Eventbrite around 3 months ago so asked if I could transfer them to my son. Not a squeak.Emailled Eventbrite and venue early in the week, thankfully Tivolli came back to me and sorted it out. I will not use Evenbrite again.

Booked tickets for a day disco in Blackpool. Eventbrite changed the date without any consultation, just found out by chance. Been on the website twice to get a refund which they said was possible. Twice been ignored and heard nothing back. Very poor communication and customer service. Would not recommend buying tickets from them.

Purchased tickets for an evening with Al Pacino in Dublin. Event was to be on 23 April 2023. Received an email from Eventbrite in January 2023 to say event was postponed and received one more email from Eventbrite in March 2023 to say they were still awaiting new dates. Since then there have been no further emails, we have emailed looking for a refund and have not received it. Did an official refund application through Eventbrite and they rejected it. The tickets cost £323.64 and we have yet to receive our money back. No emails from them, we have to do the chasing for our money.

The event I booked my tickets for didn’t even exist and evebnbrite refuses to take any accountability and refused to proceed with refund due to their “policy” That’s a shame that they refuse to deal with advertises and fully support scammers unless that’s their purpose.

The positive - one app less to worry about updating, going to trash as soon as I get my money back via my bank provider.

This company is excellent. It encourages raging leftists to part with their money, on the offchance they might (or might not) get a coach to London to "pwotest against the naughty fascists in Wondon".

Setting up events is a tedious business.
I get a pointless "Your event has been published" email when I create an event. Meaningless as I know that.
The single most important email notification is missing. There is no email sent when ticket sales end. This would be really useful to thousands of users - why has somebody so simple and obvious not been done.

This is a total Scam. There are no events. This Company should not be allowed to advertise shows when there aren't any. Do not pay for tickets there are NO EVENTS

THREAD: @eventbrite & CEO @juliahartz have ignored every complaint I’ve made — by email and in public.

I raised a serious issue — they replied once, then went silent.

When I asked for accountability and compensation, they vanished. No reply. No refund. Just silence.

Is this how @eventbrite treats customers?

This company is ridiculous. I purchased an event ticket and they charged my Apple Card in seconds. Downloaded their App and cant find the ticket. You cannot speak to a live person its all AI and you just go round and round in circles with no satisfaction and out the money they charged you. Lucky for them they can just defer you to the event organizer. I will never get any event tickets through them again and whoever said they were user friendly surely didn't have any issue they needed to take care of like stolen money.

Booked an Experience with Al Pacino for May 2023. Event was cancelled. They said the event would be rescheduled towards end 2023. Asked for refund February 2024, as no events happening. Refund still not issued to me or 1000s of others, July 2025!!!!

I signed up for an online women’s networking event. It was a 4 hour event.
I logged in this morning with no problems. As soon as the meeting opened I was met with an explicit movie. The chat immediately opened up to lots of other confused women asking if it was just them or if anyone else could see it.
I am disgusted, beyond words.
EVENTBRITE sort it out. I’m signed up to some other events too but I’m too concerned about using the platform now so will be deleting my account.

I’ve been locked out of my Eventbrite organiser account for over a month — and support has done absolutely nothing to resolve it.

Case #8393515 — acknowledged by their team as a technical issue, yet no timeline, no updates, and no one replying to emails or chat follow-ups. I’ve lost access to 250+ followers and missed multiple events and revenue because of this.

I’ve had to create a second account just to try and reach someone. Still no help.

Eventbrite has offered zero accountability, no clear communication, and no escalation — despite the clear business harm this has caused. This is not how a professional platform should treat its organisers.

I am now forced to escalate publicly and consider legal options if this is not resolved immediately.

They canceled a show and emailed asking if I wanted a refund. 6 weeks later still no refund and not replying to my numerous emails.

The differences between eventbrite.com and eventbrite.co.uk are incredibly frustrating, with events not available on both sites. Surely the owners can sort this mess out (though judging from other comments I doubt it). From a tech view, speaking as someone with an appropriate expertise, it shouldn't be that hard, and says a lot about the company.

I was on a waiting list for an event. Received an email saying ticket available, needed to reply by the next day, replied immediately, submission twice rejected then received message no tickets available. All reviews negative here. Why does anyone use Eventbrite?

Hi, the purchasing of the tickets went quite well until we came to paying with credit card as the payment wouldn't go through without a "Zip" code ? ? ? . None of my bank cards have Zip codes on them or statements. Had to contact the bank,
who only have people you can talk to at 8 o,clock in the morning. This caused the price of the Harborough Summer Fest, going up per ticket prior to me having to find the banks Zip code . Cost €24 extra due to having to find a Zip code ? ? Regards Ray

Order tickets for lego event. It was meant to be a fun day for the kids. Ended up being a vendors selling session. This should have been made clear. Waste of money and certainly not what i signed up for. Refused a refund

I purchased a ticket £30 for an April event on 13 May. The event was cancelled on the morning of the 13th. I have been in contact asking for a refund. The response I received was from the organisers via Eventbrite. Who told me on 18th May that my refund had been processed. Chased yesterday 28th May and just received this response
“Read the email of the 18th!
Your stupid comments won’t help!! “.
????????????? Chasing a refund is stupid? Again via Eventbrite. Never able to contact by phone my advice to anyone is only use Eventbrite on a free ticket basis.
