REPORT TO THE POLICE OR WATCHDOG ASAP. This website is a scam. Their telephone number does not exist. I bought two tickets two events and when I contacted the restaurants and spoke to the managers and they said there was no such events taking place.
Please do not buy on the websites.

What is there not to love about Eventbrite, I’ll wait…….. yeah absolutely nothing! What a great platform! So many amazing organisers and events, so much hidden gems as well, just go and explore and I’m sure you’ll find an event you had no intention finding, but did and had a great time!

The main problem is that tickets and links do not turn up to my Yahoo email address. And of course there is no contact address and zero customer support. (This happened many times over several years, until I gave up trying.)

As an event promoter, I note that fees are excessive, with Eventbrite even taking a cut out of optional donations that our supporters choose to make after paying for tickets.

If I could give zero stars I would. They enable scammers. The date changed on an event to a date I can’t make. I requested a refund and no refund. The organiser is so rude, they are obviously scamming. Eventbrite is not interested at all. Lost all of my money. This is the second time I’ve been scammed and Eventbrite have done nothing. So annoyed.

They changed the venue and date of the event I booked to a date I cannot make. Retested a refund (hard to find the refund button but after much searching I eventually did) and they take off a fee. So through no fault of my own I've lost money. The refund has yet to appear in my account despite this being several days ago. Do not use

Easy booking. Lots of choices

Data breach: Due to the combination of details in a spam email, that data could only have ever come from eventbrite. So, somehow. spammers have got data from eventbrite about my company.

This breach could only have happened through eventbrite bungling data security somehow, or maybe selling it on. Fortunately, given our situation, it's easy to ignore, possibly not so for others.

Although I select "English" a lot of listed events are in other languages and too many events for which I am registered do not provide any joining link. It would also be useful if I could click on several options and selecting my choices.

No issues whatsoever

I bought tickets for The Mike Graham online Show as I was unable to go to the live show. I was so excited about seeing the show as I am a massive fan of Mike Graham. On the night of the online show I tried for 40 minutes to access the show but couldn’t log into the show. I emailed Eventbrite at the time but have had no response. Extremely poor service from Eventbrite and gutted that I missed the show…

I booked two tickets for an event through Eventbrite instead of the organiser page thinking was the safest thing to do. Unfortunately I was completely wrong. I would strongly advise you not to buy any tickets from Eventbrite and always buy them directly from the organiser of the event. Eventbrite just take your money and then apply their policy of no refund.
I requested a refund for the two tickets after going to the event and realising that it was changed and it wasn't as described. Both the staff at the even and the organisers were refunding the people who bought the tickets at the door or through the gotobeat.com website, and they told me that since I bought them through Eventbrite I had to contact them to ask for a refund. I then contacted Eventbrite multiple times (please note that there is no way to speak with them, you just have the option to speak with a useless AI bot and fill an online form which is not even manually reviewed) and after multiple refunds requests I just got an automatic reply: "We're sorry to hear the event did not meet your expectations.
Eventbrite requires that organizers manage refunds in accordance with Eventbrite's Organizer Refund Policy Requirements. If the organizer does not abide by these requirements, attendees may submit a refund request to Eventbrite if it meets the criteria outlined here.
After review, your order is not eligible for a refund, since it does not appear the event in question is covered by Eventbrite's Cancelled Event Policy or Postponed Event Policy. We apologize that we are unable to accommodate your request at this time and encourage you to contact the organizer directly to resolve any ongoing concerns.".

So basically booking tickets through Eventbrite is just a scam and it just deprives you of refund rights you would instead have by booking through the organisers.

Stay away from them.

You can easily use it confidently and keep up with the events you like. That's the most important thing.

2nd time the venue of an event was vague and could ot be found

When I tried to book a ticket, as usual your system told me "This user's password must be changed before log in" but did not provide any obvious, let alone easy, way I could change my password, nor any explanation why I should have to do so. I was able to use this site a few days ago, quite successfully, on my previous (and recorded) password. Why did you require me to change? This seems to be just another example of . his seems to be just another infuriating example of automated responses working rigidly and stupidly badly, so common these days. I had to go back and try to log-in through a different route. I succeeded, but the whole thing took me 20 mins longer than it should have done. Bad!

Not sure HOW this company seems popular. Maybe it just isn’t. My experience time and time again is how difficult it is to access tickets etc. They say that they will send an email and it never arrives ( checked spam).
I am going to ask our company to STOP USING THIS OVERBLOWN COMPANY!
