Very pleased with the product. Delivered within 4 days with a discrepancy from my order but customer services replied within a day and despatched remainder so no issues. Will use this company again.

Great hardware at an affordable price. Unfortunately it is let down at the moment by poor software and little by way of useful customer support. I am sure it will get there, but as of June 2018, it was evident that the solution software was hastily translated from the original Chinese, however, not all pages of the user tools had been completely translated and those that had been were less than clear. I was trying to set up the Mi LED Desklamp to work with Alexa, however, the software wouldn’t connect - the Desklight wasn’t a configurable option; yet. So in short, has potential but let down by software.

Issue Reported = Software is not intuitive. Several of user-facing screens accessible and presented to international and UK English customers (users) still appear written in native Chinese, making it extremely difficult to use the software.

Energenie remote controlled sockets - Work like a charm. Simple to set up and use. Excellent service and quick delivery.
Would really recommend these to EVERYONE. Great product

Great item works well and very easy to set up

The unit was delivered quickly by Royal Mail 24 service. The arrangement of sockets and switches looked daunting at first but the instructions printed on the box were clear and easy to follow. Very happy.

Decent, but there seems to be some latency between operating a switch by a smartphone (even when on the same WiFi network) and the switch changing. This I can expect; however the main issue and area for improvement is that there is no way of knowing on the app if a switch is on/off when operated by the actual remote. Also one seems to overrule the other. Eg. If you’ve turned a light on by the app, turning it off again by the remote will not go down too well and it will switch back on again immediately as the gateway is still thinking it should be on.

Initially I was rather disappointed that I had no order confirmation email, no pre paid returns label as promised and was sent a dirty remote control socket in no packaging. But it was very swiftly and apologetically resolved by Energenie.

Quick service and exactly what I needed to run various pieces of equipment in a large fish tank.

Perfect. Just what we needed.

I have four switchable sockets, one energy monitor and two sockets that can be switched with your own Python programming in Raspberry Pi. They all function perfectly and I applaud Energenie for making reasonably priced gadgets especially the Pi sockets.

Very helpful advice from the technical team before I decided to go ahead and purchase. Have yet to set the equipment up, but I have no doubt it will do exactly what I wanted to.

Have now set three of the energenie plugs up, two controlling radiators, another a lamp. They work fine, and am very impressed.

Purchased a Raspberry PI IR transceiver, product worked as expected, however the instructions detailed in the description would not allow me to get this device working. Instead I had to spend several hours trying search the internet for a working tutorial. Eventually I got it working and the product works exactly as intended.

The product arrived within 3 days and the quality of the product was mediocre.

Ideal way to automate your home without high cost and works with alexa

I needed a controller to make life a bit easier for my mum and it arrived nice and quickly. They are so helpful for her to make turning awkwardly placed sockets on and off. A tad bulky but they work very well

Bought MiHome Gateway (MIHO001) used from Ebay. Apparently the previous owner had to un-link it from their devices and "reboot" the system so to enable it to be used with new devices/Application. However, their technical support is poor in dealing with this. Their contact method creates frustration as when you click 'reply' the message is not sent back to them and you have to manually copy paste the whole mail and use their platform again (as far as I understand) creating confusion with multiple email reference numbers.

Not that well... the product I bought doesn’t seem to work and I have yet to hear back from the technical ‘helpdesk’
