This company does not even deserve 1-star! As others have stated, items arrived (from China) and nothing like described/modelled. I ordered 2 x size small 2-pieces (shirt and shorts) but they were huge! Material was cheap nylon and not cotton. I immediately returned them using the return address on the package and notified them of this. They said while their return address is China, if I supplied them with proof of postage/the address I had returned the items to, they would refund me. Over a week later they have now changed their mind. So I now no longer have the items and at £60+ loss. It is despicable that they are operating as a company operating from London but simply supply cheap-looking, poor quality items from China. Still in dispute with them regarding my refund. I’m not holding my breath!

Ive had a terrible time with this company..the outfit i ordered was completely different from advertised in fabric style and fit which i would call retail fraud.. the company are in china not london..if you want a refund you have to send back to china…where the shipping cost was more than the outfit!!!
They offered me £11.99 to keep it.they then offered full a full refund as i was so cross with the rubbish quality,.i then got another saying i wasn't now going to get a full refund as they had changed there

This company have committed retail fraud,,.,I'm going to take it further as they should not be operating its a total SCAM

A shocking company that misrepresents its products .. stated a linen dress and when it arrived it was nylon . Avoid buying from them . It is not a UK company , it models itself as a London business.

I wish I'd read all the reviews before I wasted good money. The quality of the fabric is cheap and nasty and looks nothing like the image or description on the website. DO NOT BUY!

Delivery took over 3 weeks, when I asked to cancel as delivery was taking so long they told me to refuse the order. The order was just left on my doorstep one day so this wasn’t possible and in the last 6 days I’ve sent them 6 emails about arranging a return and refund to which I have had no response. Products have to be sent back to China. Quality is extremely poor and none look like the photos.

Do not buy from here it’s a scam. They make it sound like a British company then send cheap tat from china. I ordered two dresses and they were both awful! I complained and they said it could send it back to china which would be expensive or could have a 30% refund. Ended up getting a 50% refund but still out of pocket. Also it took ages to come!

Would not recommend buying from here . My dress was cheap tat when I asked to return it I was told it would be expensive to return to China and was only entitled to a 30 per cent refund . Absolutely awful customer care avoid this shop avoid avoid avoid

My items still not arrived but looking into it, it’s likely I’ve wasted my money as poor reviews on quality and delivery from China takes far too long. This is not made clear when ordering.

Cheap material and awful quality. Then to want £20 per item to return the crap. Two weeks for delivery !!

Pls don’t get fooled by this company & others who are similar in instagram. They are scams as I got fooled by this company I bought three outfits from them costing me £150 all were cheap material n looked nothing like they advertised on instagram. I gave wasted my money on these garments n can’t send back as it’s too expensive to do so. I feel v disappointed & feel these companies should be made accountable for ripping us off.

I'd give less than 1 star if I could. Don't buy from here, you'll be disappointed, unless you like paying good money for cheap synthetic materials. Don't be fooled by the name of the business either - their stock is from China - so if you want to send anything back to receive a refund - they've made it as difficult as possible and you have to pay the return postage. You know full well they'll claim to have never received it so you'll end up wasting more money on the return.

Item isn’t as listed. It was supposed to be linen/cotton and is in fact polyester & spandex. Horrid shiny fabric. I can’t return it as it’s a sale item plus they ask for a £20 fee plus postage to return to China even though it’s supposed to be based in Covent Garden. Don’t order from this company. I raised a complaint with my bank as the item isn’t as described and I can’t get a full refund from China so the bank will credit me while the dispute is resolved.

I believe the goods I received were materially different from how they were represented and advertised on the Emma & Rose London website.
The website presented the business as “Emma & Rose London” and marketed the clothing as high-quality/luxury fashion, with substantial original prices and significant sale discounts. I purchased the following items:

1. Azura Flowy Summer Dress – £64.95 after discount

The dress was advertised as a summer dress of a particular design and quality. However, when received, the medium was extremely baggy around the upper body while being excessively tight around the lower section. The lower part is so restrictive that I cannot comfortably put one foot in front of the other when wearing it. This is not simply a matter of changing my mind about the style; the garment is poorly proportioned and does not provide the fit or functionality reasonably expected from the advertised item.

I have subsequently checked the website and the product appears to have been changed. The dress is now being advertised under the name “Maïa”, with a current price of £39.95. The model/photographic imagery has changed, the model’s face.

2. Black Sleeveless Dress – £44.95 after discount

The upper section of the dress fits reasonably well. However, the lower section is poorly made, with the lace/trellis section cut unevenly around the dress. The construction and finish do not correspond with the quality and appearance represented on the website.

3. Riviera Summer Co-Ord Short Set – £39.95 after discount

The set was represented as a summer co-ord and I understood the material to be cotton. The material received does not appear to be cotton.

The shorts are labelled as a medium but are extremely small and do not correspond reasonably to a UK medium. The top is substantially oversized and its button arrangement/design differs from the appearance shown on the website, including the representation of it as a two-button top.
Although the website presents itself as Emma & Rose London and gives the impression of a London-based fashion retailer, the goods were shipped to me from China. I only became aware of this after the order was dispatched/received.

When I contacted Emma & Rose London regarding the quality and suitability of the goods, they offered me either:

• a 30% refund while I keep the goods; or
• a full refund if I return the goods internationally to China, subject to a £20 handling/restocking fee and the return process/costs.

My complaint is that the goods do not correspond adequately with the description, presentation, material, construction, sizing and quality represented when I purchased them.

I would like to award minus 5 stars, but we are not given the option to do that. My shirt and shorts arrived obviously from China ,completely hideous, cheap nylon garish colours quite ghastly,nothing like the picture on the website , where it also boasts, everything sold by Emma Rose is designed and made in the UK. Already a breach of trade description law .i have asked for a full refund .I am not sending them back to China at my own expense which is suggested, I expect to receive it from the company’s head quarters in Covent Garden from Mrs Griffiths who seems to be the only member of the company. We have to make a stand against this fraudulent deception.and by reading most of the genuine reviews on this site , many of us feel the same

Really poor quality. Dress doesn’t even have a label. Came from China, return costs €20 plus the cost of post to China. Avoid.

Awful quality products. Nothing like the photos. Just glad I never paid full price for it. It was expensive in the ‘sale’!

Terrible quality clothing, looks nothing like the glossy adverts they show online. The material is cheap, shiny rubbish. Not particularly cheap either.
I requested a refund to be told I could be given 30% or post it back to China at my own cost.
Lesson learnt, always check trust pilot!

My clothes arrived and they are nothing but cheap China made clothes. And something in the summer sale how ever would they think that people would buy something at £120? Although the items I received were reduced £36 each for a set of shorts and shirt. The stitching was terrible nothing what you would expect. No wonder I don’t buy stuff online is absolutely terrible. Avoid this company like a plague. Thank God I didn’t buy anything else.

Ordered a dress that was in their summer sale. The cheap crap that arrived is nothing like the picture. For a £200 dress to come screwed up in a plastic bag, shows the quality. It also doesn't have the hanging straps which show that its toot. Wouldn't have even paid a tenner for this dress, if i had seen it on a shop. To say I'm upset and disappointed is an understatement. Avoid these scammers like the plague 🤬
