The plumber who came was helpful polite and considerate.Got on with the work and was very tidy.Job well done.
Great speedy service. Foxed the leak I had within 24hrs
Lennie was an excellent engineer. He arrived promptly and started on the job. Although the job was challenging he took it on him self to cause the least damage and ensured everything was set up professionally before he left. I cannot recommend the company Dyno plumbing enough. They have always delivered efficiently. They are under one of the best management I have ever come across (Shafi), always helpful and an expertise in their field.
We have been aimlessly calling them everyday without any success to get the mixer in the bathroom fixed. They tell us that the plumber will visit when we call them and no plumber visits our house. We cannot imagine how a company and its employees can behave this in sensitive. It has been 4 weeks that they haven’t replaced the mixer in the bathroom which has caused us immense discomfort, we have only one bathroom and the shower mixer parts are not working since the time we have moved in to this place. I have gone through other negative reviews and they are similar to what we have been experiencing. It is hard to imagine that such poor services are provided by a company like British Gas. This is a zero trust worthy behaviour and hope others who plan to get a contract with British Gas and dyno take a note of this reviews and look elsewhere.
I have a leak going through kitchen ceiling from the bathroom . Dyno Rod are telling me I have to wait just under a month for a plumber to return to fix the leak .
This is part of the British Gas Homecare plan!!!!
I have contacted both companies to complain and have heard nothing .
After some time trying to find a qualified local plumber at a reasonable price - with no success - my neighbour suggested British Gas one off repairs.
The engineers were friendly, knowledgeable and repaired the cistern - which was a fiddly job!
I would definitely call on them again
Have to use them as they are the company linked to British Gas Homecare. Plumber came in early January. Could not fix the problem and said he would order the part. Have been ringing British Gas for an update and they are passing my details to Dyno Plumbing to update me. Finally after trying many times I've managed to get through. I asked why no one was ringing me back and they said they didn't bother because there was no update. Unbelievable. Obviously British Gas use them because they are cheap.
Under my British Gas Home Care policy, Dyno was meant to replace a leaking hot water cylinder. The soonest appointment they could offer was a month away. This meant no hot water with a house full of guests over the Xmas season. The much anticipated day of my Dyno appointment finally arrived but a BG boiler technician came instead. The new water cylinder had not been delivered and this individual had no idea of the problem. He had nothing to do with installing water cylinders. He explained sometimes the BG and Dyno offices get things mixed up. After numerous calls with Dyno, a second appointment to install the cylinder was arranged. The soonest date they could offer was almost 3 weeks away. (It is now nearly 2 months without hot water, despite my £500 per year Home Care policy with BG.) The day before my Dyno appointment, I called their office just to double check they were indeed coming. i was assured they were. That evening I got a text from their engineer stating that the office had tried repeatedly to call me to confirm the appointment but had been unsuccessful in making contact. (This was demonstrably untrue. Mobile phones have call records.) I immediately texted to enthusiastically confirm and re-iterated that it was a two man job to carry the massive water cylinder up two flights of stairs. (At this point, I took nothing for granted.) I got no reply and texted again. He texted back "Perfect. I shall be with you 8am tomorrow morning...I will be with my colleague who can help me get the cylinder up to where it needs to go". My spirits rose with the promise of imminent hot water. He did not show the following day nor did he contact me. He failed to respond to either texts or calls. Later that morning I received a text from Dyno stating my appointment for tomorrow (???) had been cancelled due to unexpected circumstances and offered a slot in three weeks time.
As many on Trust Pilot have noted, it is virtually impossible to get through to Dyno by phone. While one is welcomed and reassured by a voice over that every call is important, 10 minutes on hold are abruptly ended by a message that all operators are busy and suggesting to call back another time. I spoke with an empathetic BG agent (filing an FCA regulated complaint seemed to help here) who emailed a detailed complaint to Dyno, but this also failed to evoke a response.
Thus far, I have found Dyno's customer care unresponsive and irresponsible in the extreme. I am very open however, to read their reply on Trust Pilot and hopeful they are committed to resolve the situation. I will post updates on this space and share my Dyno experiences as they unfold.
Terrible terrible service. You’ll be lucky they turn up to their own appointments. And even luckier if they pick up their phones on the first try. I’m on try 5 and still nothing. I’ve had to send an email complaining. They’ve wasted 3 days of mine waiting from 8am to 6pm, NOT LETTING ANYONE KNOW THEYVE CANCELLED.
Alsoooo!!! Best thing today!
12.25 pm plumber messaged me saying he was parking. It’s 1:34pm and he still isn’t here.
TERRIBLE. Don’t use.
Had a radiator not heating up even though I bled it a few times. Plumber fix the problem straight away. I now have piping hot radiators
Excellent, knowledgeable and friendly engineer. Thanks for the fantastic customer service
The worst level of service I have ever had.
Dyno were engaged by British Gas to replace my radiator under my HomeCare agreement. They delivered the radiator but could not install it straight away. They missed two appointments, without giving me any explanation, and it is impossible to get through to them on the phone without being cut off. Avoid at all costs.
The plumber who came to fix our toilet was professional and helpful. We were happy with his service. The customer service was prompt with answering questions and emails. The only issue I have is that the job took way too long to be resolved-almost 1.5 month to change one part. It was due to the fact that different plumbers were sent every time who didn’t know what to expect hence not ready to carry out the job. I was charged a lot of money for this job and was expecting it to be finished sooner. Other than that good.
Dynorod is basically a scam. Would never use them again. They insist on payment being taken before the work, and take no responsibility for incomplete or ineffective work. I have spent significant money with them, and they are yet to fix my problem. Even to get them to re-schedule a visit is a mission - hours on the phone, cancelled visits, etc etc. It’s as if they’re waiting for customers to get so fatigued that they give us chasing, and Dynorod just walks away with your money. It is akin to a fraud. 1 month of pain, paying out a lot of money, with no result. Will NEVER use them again, and will report to my bank.
I am forced to use Dynorod as part of a British Homecare To date I have been waiting since Feb 2022 to have a tap on my bath fixed Listing the issues Multiple visits needed to assess what parts were needed Parts taking months to be delivered because Dyno Rod said they had ordered when they hadn’t, said they had delivered it to my house when they hadn’t then accusing me of losing them, multiple requirement to call the local office and no phone call being answered within 20 mins Call Centre Operators obviously working from home and not really focussed on the call 2 instances of Engineers visits being booked then they don’t arrive nor call /text to tell you they aren’t turning up However I must say my engineer Luke was always competent polite and as frustrated with the situation as I was My bath was finally fixed today 10months on The worse part is I have filed multiple complaints both on line and via customer care which have never been addressed and responded to Its like they don’t care
Your man didn't turn up. Didn't call to cancel. We are still waiting.
Attended to fix a leaking toilet in September and advised they would return with parts. I have been chasing Dyno for an update and keep being told parts on order 2 months later. Awful service, but have to use them under BGas Home cover. Called BGas and they dont care and keep directing me to Dyno. Made a formal complaint, but no response.
Engineer came to fix leak. Cut off upstairs water so didn’t want to risk showers/loos draining water tank so that was very inconvenient. He told me he was getting part and would be back. He didn’t come back until following day. One day later and I still have a leak. Waiting for another plumber at the moment. Have to use Dyno because of British Gas policy. Very difficult to get through to their office. Long periods on hold then cut off
Toilet was leaking and was told to replace it. Paid £720 and 4 weeks later did not need replacing the toilet but was repaired which should have covered by the British Gas home care. Reluctantly £300 was refunded but should have refunded £720. Need trained and well paidengineers
I've lost count of the number of plumbers we've had round to try and fit a new bathroom tap.
Everything from parts not being ordered, to the wrong part being ordered, to water exploding from the fitting without the mains being turned off...
Now, 3 months since the process started, the new tap has been installed but it leaks! Plumber 5 or 6 has already attended to fix the leak, but today it appears to be worse.
The tradesmen they send over are usually pleasant and keen to help but they also don't seem to have been doing the job for very long.
Utterly at my wit's end over this but as the service is through British Gas Homecare we have to keep using Dyno to try and sort it out or pay even more for another company to take over.
