300 route scheduled for 9:15 from Burg Quay, 26/10/2024. Left 40 mins late. Bus driver was rude. Leap Card not accepted for return tickets. Dirty Bus. No ventilation. No aircon. Hot, stuffy. Coach services in third-world countries are better than this supposed first-world service. This bus should cost nothing more than €2.00 return for the service you’re receiving. Instead, they charge you €15.00 return. Dublin Coach should be ashamed. Disgusting service.

Dropped my daughter to Annacotty for the 18.35pm bus. Now 19.30 and no sign of a bus. Live tracker has been saying bus is only 15 mins away since 7pm. Goes down to 14 mins, then back to 19, then to 15 mins. Just an appalling service.

Gosh. I waited for over an hour from 8:30pm while the ‘live tracker’ indicated the coach was on route. In the end I aborted my journey. There was no communication with booked passengers to explain the delay and when I looked at the tracker later, the coach seemed to have been 2 hours late! What if I was travelling to Dublin Airport to catch a flight. Also, I’m writing this because nobody answers the phone number listed on the ticket. We need a proper bus service between Shannon and Dublin.

Never book this service! A waste of your money and all stress! 300 service never turned up 23rd oct 24 for the airport, for a flight!! No update in the app! No one answered the phone. Very lucky ti be able to call my husband for an emergency lift. Might make my flight?

This is the bus from hell. 9 times out of 10 it’s unreliable and late or doesn’t turn up. It’s always roasting hot - no air, rude drivers and if I could avoid it at all costs I would. But getting to the airport is very difficult and sometimes you just have to take it. I suggest they charge more money, schedule a decent reliable service and pay the drivers properly! It has to be the worst run company I’ve ever known. Torture!!

Most of seats are crap don’t recline and buses are mostly not punctual with timetable always late

I think 1 is pushing it, I’ve travelled near and far with various travel providers and when I say avoid these I don’t mean it lightly. A journey that should have taken 3 1/2 hours took me 12 - whilst being left in two different unknown areas late at night with absolutely no means to contact anyone or find out where any buses were after having been verbally abused by a bus driver who failed to let me know that I was to swap bus (this was not on my ticket, not noted to me when I got on the bus and let them know where I was going, and when I found myself in the middle of nowhere i was screamed at for being a “liar”, people getting off the bus comforted me and were also very upset by how the driver had acted whilst carrying 60+ people on a bus. then two buses never showed up so I found myself in Limerick city at 11pm with no means to contact the company or know if the bus that was due would come.

Honestly it is not worth it, just use any other means no matter what the cost it’s just not worth the stress, I’ve missed a really important evening and lost money in accommodation because of this.

This is not my first bad experience either and as you can see it’s a common occurrence.

The driving is also dangerous and the toilets are awful.

If possible I would give a 0 star. Do not use this bus service. I repeat do not use. Very unreliable. Am still waiting at the bus stop and it’s an hour late already. I do not know when the bus will arrive.

awful experience, route 300 is a disgrace first we missed bus and second bus didn’t even show up and then 2 hours later a bus showed up and me and friends went to get on the bus and one didn’t get left on and he was going to leave a 15 year old girl by herself at night in limerick city

I don’t know why I keep giving these fools (harsh but true) another chance. Every single time without failure there has been an issue whether it’s delays or the bus not coming at all, rude drivers, and don’t get me started on the hygiene standards because there is none. I am on my way home from Dublin to Limerick now and this is our third time pulling over for 10 minutes at a time. We left burgh quay at 11:15….it is now 11:50 and we’re only at kilmainham once again at a standstill with no explanation from the driver. When we do get moving we’re going at a snail pace and the bus genuinely sounds as if it’s about to fall apart.If you have places to be at specific times don’t trust this bus service.

If I could give this bus a minus rating I would.
Firstly the bus was 30 mins late, so unreliable.
Paid €14 for my return ticket as a student. Ended up forgetting my leap card for the journey home, bus driver made me pay 22€ on top of what I already paid. So in total I paid 36€ for a return ticket dublin to limerick. Bus driver was incredibly inconsiderate and rude.

Shocking and rude. Stay clear

Never turned up leaving vulnerable people in the Red Cow at night trying to get home. Absolutely shocking that this company could inflict such a dangerous situation on someone. Do NOT use this service, so unreliable.

Simple....Didn't turn up. Apparently this happens frequently according to the other locals waiting. Taxi driver also confirmed this. Tickets had already been paid for online. Company manager needs to fired with a boot up his backside.

Easily the worst experience in a country where transportation is like developing countries. Dirty , stinky, hours late, rude drivers, helpless costumer service... If you want to miss a flight and suffer then Dublin coach is for you

They advertise bus times and don't run enough buses to carry out schedule. Buses just don't show up.
Customer service is nil.
You will be late for what ever you had planned.
buses roll up an hour late.
Bus driver refused to leave airport to go to red cow as he was waiting on police, along side 3 other drivers about a passenger who was no longer on the bus. When I said there's a full bus waiting to leave and I have to catch a connecting bus, he told me I was good for buses up until midnight. I said, I needed to get to work and that was not acceptable
My last time with them as this has happened before. I was left in rain at red cow late at night with children for 1.5 hours. I emailed them, no response.

This service is a disgrace. Constantly delayed, bus have regular mechanical problems, sometimes you can’t even pay and they try to refuse you to use the service if their machine is not working. The seats are broken, disgusting filthy buses and terrible service. Yet the prices continue to rise. Shame on whoever owns this business. You make irelands and our transport system a joke. Forget calling yourself an airport bus, I refuse to use this service again and I feel so sorry for people who depend on it for their livelihood

Horribly late service. Late by a whole hour. Now That’s a new title to be given!

Service very unreliable. Friday Sept 27th the 22.00 service from Burgh Quay to Kilkenny / Cork never turned up, we waited until 22.45 and then booked tickets on J.J Kavanaghs at 23.30. According to the App at 21.00 the service at 22.00 was still du
e to run.
This seems to be happening regularly with Dublin Coach recently. Someone needs to take responsibility for this disastrous service. I have just checked other reviews for Dublin Coach and it seems all their services are as bad as the Dublin / Kilkenny route. The App is useless and never seems to be updated with messages. J.J Kavanagh service is much more reliable and i will be using it going forward.
