Desmond made my driving experience great he was helpful with anything I needed he pushed me to be there best driver I can be and got me through my driving test I can’t praise him enough!!

Great experience. My instructor was very down to earth and helpful. Definitely would recommend. My instructor was firm at the times when I needed it. Without this I would not have passed. I've recommended Elevate driving to many family members, my older sister passed with them and my younger sister is currently practicing with them too.

I’ve always had anxiety around driving and have tried a few times and sadly, quit but clearly they weren’t the right times for it. BUT I woke up one day in April this year and decided “that’s it, I’m going to learn to drive!” and so I called a few driving schools up and I selected Elevate Driving School of Motoring, after discussing my options. I went off to do my theory test, passing that I then went on to start my intensive course. Whilst it didn’t come naturally to me, and the anxiety tried to get the better of me a few times, the self-doubt crept in more than a few times, but with the massive help of my instructor, Julian, who gave me the guidance, showed me patience, he gave me the confidence to believe in my ability and made me trust in myself I’ve actually finally done it, at 45 years old, I have my licence! 🚗🚘

Had Steve as my instructor was really helpful and taught me a lot and helped me pass my test with 3minors would definitely recommend to a friend

Julian an outstanding instructor, Elevate driving school ultimately the go to driving school.
I got to know of Julian /Elevate through a friend after doing over 30hrs with another driving school with no progress.
Today I passed my test on my 1st attempt .
Look for Julian he is simply fantastic at his job

Started learning with Des and he was very encouraging and got me test ready in less than 35 hours. Very good communication would definitely recommend Elevate to anyone.

Started my driving lessons 9 lessons ago. Have been on road and used to a car before so I was ready I just needed to get test ready. Steven helped me within those 9 hours to gain the confidence I needed to pass. 1st time with 4 minors. They will truly let you know when you are ready to go for you test 100 percent recommend This company !

I started lessons with Julian 5 weeks ago with a fear of driving, after lessons with Julian and his support I was able to pass my test first time with ease. I tried multiple other instructors in Nottingham and never made any progress, I was close to giving up due to the anxiety , I wish I had found elevate sooner!!

Had a semi intensive course with Julian and couldn’t wish for a better instructor he makes you feel so calm and relaxed and more like a friend than an instructor I don’t think I would have passed with anyone else

Huge thanks to JULIAN the best instructor I’ve EVER had so patient, kind and helpful with a great teaching style. He made me feel at ease from the first lesson. Driving lessons was always a vibe and so positive which made everything much more better and each lesson to look forward too, I never thought I would pass my driving lessons but with Julian pushing me forwards and giving positive energy I did. Couldn’t of done my lessons with a better driving company

I had never driven a car before, but I took lessons with Elevate and they went really well and then I have just gone and passed my test and I am really happy

From the reviews Elevate has their key instructors that have great reviews and liked by those that had taken lessons with them. This review is not aimed towards Elevate as a whole. However, I do not see much reviews, if any, for Des. Quite an angry individual I’d say. Not sure if it’s short man syndrome but he seems to think it’s ok to talk to his students anyway he wants. Just a warning for anyone who decides to have him as their instructor, be prepared for verbal abuse. I can imagine him being picky with who he decides to talk to disrespectfully. For example, I cannot imagine him taking to a man that he knows would rock his jaw in a disrespectful manner. I believe it’s just the younger ones he likes to talk crap to. Elevate, I know Des has been apart of your company for a long time and has passed many students, however a word needs to be had with him in regards to his angry episodes. I would expect an instructor to have emotional composure. From what I can gather, even those at the test Center are aware of his little angry nature. To say he always covers his mouth when he talks he has a whole lot of unnecessary, moan and groan, insulting comments to say to his students.

Julian really Amazing put me at ease. Making the lesson interactive which was fun. Could have chosen a better instructor.

I had driving lessons with Julian and can honestly say he’s the best he’s got a lot off time and patience I never thought I would pass never mind 1st time just want to say thank you to Julian for believing in me and I will definitely be recommend you to everyone who wants driving lessons 😁👊🏻

Huge thanks to Jeanette, she’s a fantastic instructor - so patient, kind and helpful with a great teaching style. She made me feel at ease from the first lesson & was very flexible with times & dates of lessons, fitting me in with very short notice.

After 4 weeks of intensive lessons, I passed first time with just 1 minor, which is a testament to Jen and her teaching methods. I’d highly recommend Jen to anyone looking for automatic lessons :)

Mark in the silver Kia xceed made my driving lessons enjoyable and I really felt relaxed and at ease and I recommend mark to anybody who is wanting to learn how to drive and pass a test successfully he changed my life forever
