DO NOT BUY, RETURN POLICY STINKS, ONLY GET STORE CREDIT, SIZING OF CLOTHING IS OFF SO NOTHING FITS, NO WONDER THEY FILED BANKRUPTCY, THIS ATTEMPT TO REENTER THE MARKET WILL SURELY FAIL TOO.

Dressbarn added the sneaky opt out "Rewards Program" charge ($9.99) to an order I placed in January 2022. In addition, the original order was processed twice. Every month I was receiving email and text alerts about two Dressbarn "rewards program" charges of $9.99 each but the links for support did not recognize my email or phone number. I received a message that said "no account is associated with this phone number/email address." I thought it was a scam. When I realized that these charges were indeed showing up on my credit card, I contacted the credit card provider to dispute the charges. Truly frustrated and angry with Dressbarn for what feels like deceptive and unethical business practices. I will never shop at Dressbarn again.

When you go onto DressBarn's site and start an online account, and purchase an item, there is an *already-checked* box that automatically signs you up for a $9.99 "Rewards Program." I only realized this when my credit card was charged the $9.99 and I investigated, then called Customer "Service," which is a joke! When I called and asked that the charge be reversed, the ONLY thing they would offer me was a $10 gift card. They did NOT reverse the charge to my card.

Absolutely ridiculous to CHARGE for a Rewards Program without a CLEAR acknowledgement from the customer.

Scammed out of $9.99 for opening a DressBarn account. I repeat, DO NOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT WITH DRESSBARN!

I ordered three items from Dressbarn; 2 arrived, but the 3rd was cancelled "by the supplier". Dressbarn informed me they gave me a store credit. I responded that I wanted a refund since the item was never sent. I received an automated email that they have sent my request to "support". I never heard anything; I've sent multiple emails with no response. I will never order from them again.

Scam indeed...wish I would have read these BEFORE I ordered.....They now have the merchandise AND my money! Do NOT order with Dressbarn

I am being charged 10 dollars a month for a subscription that I never asked for. I I haven’t purchased anything over the last couple of years. Nothing. This is dirty and sneaky. They are basically stealing from me every month and it’s impossible to contact them as there is no phone number. That’s a red flag right there. Basically, they are criminal. I guess all I can do is look into legal options.

I purchased a dress from dressbarn.com and a completely different dress arrived! I contacted customer service and I received a few generic email responses, a repeat email asking for me to send a photo of the dress I received, and after I requested to speak with a supervisor…silence. Its been over 3 weeks since the wrong dress arrived. Buyer beware!!

I ordered 4 items on line. the website site said "easy returns". 2 items were smaller than usual stated size and another item was made of cheap material. I completed the online return request only to receive an email that I would have to return them to China and pay the shipping fee myself! What a scam! I will never shop them again.

Do not buy anything from Dress Barn. The sizes are off. The material is cheap. If you return the clothing, they will not refund like other stores. They issue a credit that is useless if you don't like their stuff. The stores are closed, so you can't try anything on. Worst online clothing store ever.

What a scammy company. They literally snuck in a $9.99 membership fee in my purchase. I have tried again and again to stop this charge and no response. Never do business with this company.

If I could give no stars I would. This is not the bressbarn like it was. I have been shopping there for years. Out of the 3 dresses I ordered one was wrong, one does not match the picture ( it looks like a knockoff from china, it’s almost there but not quite there) and one has not showed up yet. The shirt had lose strings all over it. They are selling dresses at dressbarns prices but giving you cheaper quality fabric. There customer service is also not up to bressbarns standards.

Terrible experience. Only company I know who will not refund money for returns. How to know what size if I don’t try on?? Not very clear on the website about this policy. And the monthly membership? A joke! To get free returns on items you can’t get your money back

Clothing is very cheap, They did not give me a refund even though I was trying to return within the allowed timeframe. It was very difficult to communicate with them.i spent unbelievable amout of time on the2415662 internet finally i found their help information finnaly i was able to get in touch with customer service company rep who was very kind and polite with me while getting my return shipping and refund on my order but their product is nasty However the merchandise sent were synthetic, polyester8455217386 the company line

What a SCAM! How in the world does dressbarn.com get away with using the old Dress Barn store name? I loved the old Dress Barn store clothing but dressbarn.com's clothing is far from the quality and fit of the original store. And, guess what? They will NOT REFUND your money! DON'T FALL INTO THIS TRAP!

I do not live in the USA yet I keep getting lots of emails from this American company telling me about my order which I have never made. I informed them that they have obviously got the wrong email address for their customer and could they please remove my email from their database. Completely unhelpful response from the company and I continue to get bombarded with emails from them. Their customer service is so bad that no one is bothering to help fix this. I would not have anything to do with them as I would not trust their customer services if they were ever needed. I mean how difficult can it be to remove an email from a database.

It sounds like I had the same experience like everyone else. Not all items delivered on time. No response from Customer Service online to find missing items. Got a response from call but no explanation of problem. Items finally came and were WAY too big. Items were ordered in a size smaller than I usually take and they were still too big. Customer Rep was rude and talked over me repeating that it has always been their policy to just give credit, NO REFUND. He told me that I should've checked the return policy before ordering online. Now I'm going to have to order something else from the company just so I can use the credit but I don't know what size to order. But that will be my LAST order. I loved their stores- spent a lot of money there. Will not do that with the online store and will tell everyone I know how bad my experience was.

I ordered a $60 blouse online, and when received the quality of the garment was horrible. The seams did not even match! They refused any type of refund and would only give me store credit to buy more poor quality clothing! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DRESS BARN ONLINE!!

When you were a local store I loved you, but since going online only . . .

1. I receive 2 Emails of every message you send out and sometimes multiple per day
2. Your products take forever to come and not a easy way to keep track of them.
- One time one of my items came and the other did not. You could not locate any status. I finally called and they said it was out of stock. . . no notice of that
3. Your return policy is terrible. Other online stores will let you return items and get your money back.
- One time I was told I could get my money back but asked if I would first order again and receive a discount coupon
4. You can NEVER get a hold of management.
5. Quality was awesome when you had stores, now quality is very poor. You see a picture and expect the high quality . . . get it and very low quality.

I know you are having financial issues, but the best way to make money is to give good service and give more than you take. You would think that it wouldn’t work since that cost money. . . but the stores that have awesome customer service, great return policy and quality are making money.

Like another reviewer, I too got a response that was scripted and generic. Originally they claim to try and resolve your problem and then you will never hear from them again. They are a struggling retailer, with unethical practices like no refunds, returns or customer service followup. Stay away. Reporting to BBB.

I’m so disgusted with DressBarn, and I used to shop in their stores. Since they are only online now customer service is horrible. No refunds on returns, store credit only and when I tried to use that it didn’t work and theirs customer service dept is no help at all. Horrible!! Never again
