Can’t praise the lovely Jenny enough. She was so helpful and knowledgeable and helped me to choose frames which I definitely wouldn’t have chosen on my own. I love my new glasses and have had lots of compliments about them. Varifocals are always pricey but I got the best of everything for much less than I would have paid at SpecSavers.

I have had two pairs of specs last year at my local direct specs at 111 Stratford Road Shirley,I had a problem with one of my specs, which got broken and your member of staff , got my specs replaced with in two hours after I take it into the shop, I am very pleased with the service I have had .

My son was staying with me for a week and broke his glasses frame beyond repair. The only place i knew would possibly do a same day repair was Shirley Direct Specs as I'd used them before.
I was right...Gary went the extra mile to find a frame to fit his current lenses and fitted them after persevering, all done in half an hour. I couldn't recommend this store enough for customer service...none of the major opticians wouldn't have even looked...1st Class...

Ordered new varifocals on the 6th Jan ,arrived on the 14th Jan and they are PERFECT! Fit is comfortable and the lenses are spot on. Highly recommend and definitely use this service again.

Met Gary who showed me a pair of glasses after I explained I wanted something different and big. I absolutely love them feel really comfortable.
I ordered them on Monday and picked them up Wednesday.
Excellent quality lenses and frames.Gary was very helpful excellent customer service. The price was also brilliant much cheaper but much better quality glasses. Definitely be going back and recommending them.

Excellent service from the Shirley branch who replaced my glasses for me FOC when I‘d been given the wrong prescription by the high street opticians. Competitive pricing and they really do go the extra mile on customer service, highly recommended.

Excellent service by friendly, helpful staff. Super quick turnaround and superb value for money. My puppy has taken a liking to chewing my glasses, so have had several pairs over the past few months, both normal and sunglasses, and wouldn't go anywhere else but here. THANK YOU for always helping me out so quickly.

We expected the price to be competitive (which it was, and no excessive upselling) we were also impressed with the high standard of customer service we received and how knowledgable their staff were (thank you Gary). We were greeted as soon aa we walked through the door. The young lady behind the counter soon made us feel at home. She had a very good knowledge of the products they sold and made sure the glass fitted correctly. She he left me a message when they were ready to collect. On collection of me new glasses it was like walking into a friend’s house the got me to try all for pairs of glasses on before I left. Very good experience thank you

Glasses purchased 3yrs ago broke so contacted Burton branch...same frames tracked down by jenny from another branch and prescription emailed...payment including postage sent and new glasses arrived a week later by post to save a long car journey!! Gary kept me in the loop by email throughout...excellent service, delighted with outcome. Wish we had a Specs Direct nearer...brilliant prices and staff who go the extra mile too!! Thankyou.

Had varifocals from Cannock branch with transition lens, found they were going too dark in cloudy weather conditions so took them back expecting‘that’s what you ordered’ only to be greeted by proper customer service offered to switch them to a non transition lens and refund what I had paid for the transitions. Friendly and professional staff definitely recommend oh and by the way the glasses were £170 cheaper than the ones I was quoted for at another glasses provider!
