DFS Furniture - Bristol Anmeldelser 

We purchased a Livie corner sofa from the DFS Bristol store. When we purchased it, we were not shown the full range of colours available. It was only afterwards, when looking online, that we realised there were many more options and that we would have chosen a different colour had we known. By that stage, it was too late to amend the order.
When we tried to contact DFS for help, we were told that the store could not be contacted directly by phone and that we needed to speak to the store about amending the order. We were then told our details had been passed to the store and that someone would contact us to discuss the options. Needless to say, nobody did, and we ultimately had to accept delivery of the sofa in the original colour.
Our biggest concern, however, is the pricing. When purchasing, we were told that the sofa was on sale and, importantly, that if the price reduced before delivery, we would be refunded the difference. The sofa subsequently reduced by £100.
Again, we were told we needed to speak to the store. As there was no phone number, my husband made a 30-minute journey to the store specifically to resolve this. He was told in person that we would receive the £100 price difference back. That was two weeks ago and we have still received no refund.
The whole experience has left us feeling that the pricing and sales process was not particularly transparent, and the customer service when we have tried to resolve issues has been extremely frustrating. We were given assurances on more than one occasion, but have then been left to chase things ourselves.
We are now simply waiting for DFS to honour the £100 refund we were promised. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend making sure you are completely clear about all available options and the actual pricing before placing an order.

We went into a few sofa shops prior to going into DFS, when we did we met Neil, he helped show us what options were available and was a pleasure to deal with making sure we picked the right decision for us.

I had a fantastic experience buying a sofa here today! I was on a very tight timeline, and Mike (I’m almost certain that was his name- sorry if it’s wrong!) he was incredibly helpful. He was highly knowledgeable, efficient, and had a really pleasant manner. Excellent salesperson who made a stressful situation easy. Highly recommend!

Michael was amazing 👏. So friendly helpful understanding patient, & not at all pushy. He was happy for my wheelchair dependant husband to try out the mechanism on the bed setee we wanted & showed us other suitable options within our price range.
