I joined the Dent Accelerator start-up program and, looking back, it was a very expensive mistake. Here’s what you need to know to save yourself from disappointment:

Cost: mid 4 figures in total. You pay a joining fee upfront and then a monthly fee. You’re locked in for 12 months with a contract – the lack of a rolling membership should have been a red flag. By the time you realise the program isn’t adding value, you’re stuck paying.

Content: The course modules mostly recycle concepts Daniel has already shared in his podcasts. There’s very little genuinely new material.

Live calls & Q&As: Many sessions are run by people with small niche businesses – a life coach/"yogui" (I was half scared he’d start talking about vibrations and manifestation, and I think he actually did at some point lol), a communication coach, etc. I genuinely believe every one of us has something to teach but honestly? The advice they gave was basic, the kind you could get from a decent group of friends for free. I wouldn't have paid 4k for it.

High-performance environment? I joined expecting a high-performance environment, but there’s nothing particularly “high performance” here. No offence to the entrepreneurs – everyone’s doing their best and there were some cool people with cool ideas – but it wasn’t the inspiring, results-driven atmosphere I expected.

Customer care: Midway through, I reached out to say I wasn’t getting value from the program. Their response? They offered me a call to explore my concerns further but reminded me that I was contractually obliged to keep paying. I continued to pay every month, of course, but I think common decency would be to let someone leave if they aren’t benefiting, rather than continue to milk them when you know they're not getting value or even engaging with the program. I get they’re in business to make money, though.

Overall: If you’re familiar with Daniel’s content, podcasts, and public appearances, save yourself the money and time. Focus on your business and figure things out through trial and error rather than relying on advice you could get from a friend with common sense.

Daniel Priestly’s, Dent Global, AI Revolution workshop webinar. It is one of best time investments I have participated in this month, it may prove to be one of the best time investments of this year.

In the webinar Daniel explained with clarity the time investment vs value ratio and the historical impact of technology of business. Simply explained, AI is the next technological innovation that advances business operation, implementation, the innovation of ideas and competitive advantages. Moving beyond the doomsday chat of AI becoming the omnipresent dark force wishing to dominate and exploit human labour. Daniel’s webinar provides brilliant insights on how AI can be leveraged as a tool to advance, enhance and automize your business, for good. Daniel provided many real life examples on how he has leveraged AI to advance and provide better services and products within his businesses( some of them with integrated services capabilities due to AI).

The Dent Global AI Revolution webinar stands out as one of the most productive things I did on the day I attended and it has sparked clarity on how I could take my business forward over the next year. I highly recommend that you invest just a hour of your time in this webinar, at the very least, it could spark clarity on how you can prioritize your business for automation and provide you with clarity on your unique business offer.

I recently listened to Daniel Priestly on the Diary of a CEO podcast. I googled Scoreapp and registered for a Dent | KPI introduction zoom meeting with Glen Carlson. What I enjoyed about my engagement is the down to earth personal rapport that both Daniel and Glen present with. The generosity of ideas and consistency of their message which was very well done throughout the engagement process and now with the follow up. My next engagement is for a game plan meeting.

Fantastic free workshop from Daniel with inspiring high level frameworks, a compelling vision and ideas to work with and implement AI in business as a natural development in our society. He gives an abundant amount of knowledge, expertise and tips to work with.
