Full of useful penny dropping moments
Daniel is incredibly clear and insightful in his workshops, he is completely authentic, every few minutes there is a penny dropping insight. Be very careful: KPI marketing vs actual program delivered
I joined Dent Global after attending a Key Person of Influence (KPI) masterclass, completing their KPI scorecard, and going through KPI-branded sales calls and materials. Everything pointed to a structured 12-month KPI program with live masterclasses, live sprints, expert mentoring, and feedback.
That is not what I received.
After enrolling, I was placed into a different program (CAOS/Startup Accelerator), without that being clearly explained at the point of sale. The distinction between KPI and CAOS was not made transparent, and there were no clear criteria shared upfront about how or when you move between them.
Even more concerning, the delivery changed significantly. What was sold as a live, expert-led accelerator became mostly self-directed, with pre-recorded videos and AI tools, and very limited personalised support. The live cycles, sprints, and structured feedback that were key to my decision were no longer there.
When I raised this, the issue was reframed as a problem with my “engagement” or “assets,” rather than addressing the mismatch between what was marketed and what was delivered. A refund was refused.
What went wrong:
The sales process uses KPI branding heavily, but you may not actually be enrolling in KPI. The difference is not made clear, and the delivery model can change significantly after you join.
How Dent could improve:
Be transparent about which program clients are buying, clearly separate KPI from CAOS in all sales materials, and communicate any delivery changes upfront with options for clients.
Advice to others:
Before signing anything, get written confirmation of:
The exact program you are buying
What is delivered live vs pre-recorded today
The criteria to access KPI (not just “later”)
Refund options if the delivery model changes
This is a high-ticket investment. Make sure what you’re buying is actually what you will receive.
